We had a very ugly stucco house. Now it's a very beautiful stucco house. We get complements daily. The whole crew was amazing, professional and suuuuper nice. We also worked with the carpentry division and they were just as great. Sure we had some lower bids, but I'm so glad I went with this crew. I felt secure and happy the whole time.

This is a wonderful company, real professionals doing excellent work. They were priced competitively, did a superb paint job -and, just as important, they were punctual, reliable/ trustworthy, and completed the the job within the timeframe specified. The office was in constant communication with expected dates and crew member arrivals (crews for each part of the job). Arek apparently is the crew leader. He checked all work and immediately attended to some touchups to make everything 100%. I was initially concerned about the floor sanding job but Arek also fixed that up to 100% also and the final result looks spectacular.

I called for quotes from 3 companies. Geoge Apap was prompt in responding, professional when in my home, and competitive with pricing. I had them paint 2 bedrooms, a closet, a hallway, and three bathrooms. I was having construction done at the time, so I needed them to come in a couple of phases. They accomodated my schedule needs, while being clean and polite. THey are also very clear that customer serivice is a priority, and it shows. The work they did looks excellent and I have no complaints. I have them coming back to do more painting on other areas of my house

It was fabulous. Kenny and his crew were friendly, professional, efficient and did an amazing job. The initial estimate process was also quick and efficient. Everything was done in a timely manner and it looks beautiful. We have used them in the past to paint the entire outside of our home and they were just as wonderful.

Gary the estimator was excellent. He saw that my wife and I wanted a lot of time spent on patch and prep and allotted extra time for that. He was a great guy who took plenty of time with us and had our proposal waiting on my email within 24 hours. He was extremely accomidating. Arek the project supervisor was excellent. He got the crew started on time and checked the job throughout. The painters were professional, neat, and polite. The job took as long as they told me it would and they finished on time. I loved the way the company left a touch up sheet if needed and a customer survey. APAP completed work on our new home last month and we cannot speak highly enough of their work. My husband and I thought we could try to paint the place ourselves, but 5 hours in, and just painting one room, we did a search online and decided to go with APAP based on the glowing recommendations. Within a few minutes of my email inquiry, they responded with all the right questions and concerns and came out immediately for an estimate. They were extremely professional and courteous. Next the PM, Johnny met with me to go over what they would be doing and review the planned schedule. He also helped me decide on some color and accent wall ideas which was extremely helpful. Because of our work schedules, they came and went while we were at work cleaning up every night without incident. If we came home while they were still there, they would review their progress and ask how they were doing. All great qualities in my book. They amazing job he did. Wow. Our house was built in 1983 so there were some issues with nail pops, uneven walls and even some tape peeling from sheetrock. They did a great job repairing the imperfections. Needless to say, my husband and I would not have come close to what he was able to produce. If you want a job done right, you must hire people who know how to do it and who are certified and insured, like APAP. There were a few miscommunications along the way, but they were able to clarify them immediately and keep the job moving and on track. My husband and I noticed a few nail pops a few days after they completed their work and they were back within 2 days to fix them at no extra cost. Not much of an oversight, but more of a spot in the house that gets spotty sunlight so hard to tell. All in all, great experience and we will definitely have them back for exterior work once we are ready.

These are the most professional painters in the business and they do the best work. From the start to finish the process was seamless and efficient. They painted my entire house (3,200 sq ft) in a week. The team was always on time, listened to my requests and was very professional and courteous. Thank you Arek and the whole Apap team for doing such a wonderful job!

Steve came to the house to give us an estimate for the job the next day following my call to the office. The price quoted was the result of a 20% winter discount. Work began approximately 1 week later. Crew Leader Arek came to the house 1 day prior to the start day to analyze the job details and determine who would be coming to the house the next day. On the 1st day both Arek and Voyek arrived. Voyek did all the work which took 3 long days. Arek was in and out a few times along the way. Everyone involved(the office,Steve,Arek, and especially Voyek) was efficient,friendly and capable. We will certainly use them again.

Having the interior of your house painted can be very stressful. It is almost like moving as the entire house is in disarray. The people on this team helped make it less so because they are with you from the planning stage right through the end. I contacted this company to come and give us an estimate on painting the interior of my 7 room/2 bath house. Gary came within a couple of days to inspect the house. He gave us an estimate and we decided to have them paint the house. We called them to see if they could come over and review colors for the walls. Nicole was gracious enough to schedule a time and came and discussed the colors with my wife. The day before the work was supposed to start Arek contacted us and came over to review the job. He explained that the workers would show up by 8AM to start and it would take a little over a week. The next day 4 people including Arek showed up. Boy they mean business!! Arek was the main boss so he just wanted to make sure the team got off to a good start and then left but he checked in through out the job making sure everything was ok and we were happy. The painters would tell us what rooms they would be doing the next day so we could move things around. Gary, the person that wrote up the estimate also came by to make sure we were happy.The team of painters included Corey Shaw, Jeff Voytek and Scott Moore. They not only moved the big pieces of furniture but also helped us move the smaller items that we should already have moved. They made sure everything as well as the floor was covered with plastic, no paint got on the floor and vacumed each day when they were finished. From the time they came to the house they worked nonstop all day everyday with only breaks for lunch. The walls, the molding and doors came out beautiful!! As can be seen the job was done in a very professional manner and they walked you through the whole process from beginning to end. My wife and i could not be happier. I would recommend them to anyone.

Customer Service The experience was a positive one from the start working with Steve Apap who does the estimates all the way to the actual job and finish. Steve responded in a timely manner with the estimate. The office staff (in particular Nicole, the project manager) was extremely helpful and easy to work with as to choosing colors (very difficult!) and arranging for a rescheduling on my part of the job. I had just purchased the house a few months prior and so have been very busy with various projects. To save me time, and making it easier for me - Nicole mailed numerous paint selections to assist in color selection. The personal attention was very much appreciated. It is the little touches that make a difference and go a long way! She maintained consistent communication as to the progression of the job and clear expectations. It was added bonus since I chose to do the interior during the off season, I was able to save a bit which for a home owner - savings really add up! Now, for the painting part - the most important: The hard-working painting crew of one (Voytek) showed up every day on time at 7:30 and finished faithfully at 4:30 pm. Rooms were covered to prevent dust. Heavy items were relocated for me and what was left in the room was covered appropriately. The hardwood floors were covered as well to avoid damage. Light switches were removed to prevent any paint on them - in summary excellent attention to detail and prep for the job and cleanliness from start to finish. Voytek was extremely polite and pleasant to work with. Arek the team leader came each day to check-in. Voytek was able to patch the old textured walls very well well. Voytek asked questions of me as required. Again, very polite and courteous and easy to work with. Repeat will hire again! I want to stress the overall experience as a very positive one. I would not hesitate to use the company again. Plus, I like working with family businesses like Apap because of their pride, integrity and workmanship. Signed - a very happy customer!

I've used this company twice. The quality of the painters and job was excellent, but admin leaves a lot to be desired. Here are the issues we experienced during both of our times using this company: Last time problems included: 1. Painter not showing up to site with paint (or having a copy of the job notes, which he asked me to print for him). 2. Painter waiting 45 min to hear back from office about whether he should pick up paint. 3. Painter then leaving to pick up paint at store 5 min away, but taking 2.5 hrs to return from paint store. 4. Painter claiming that primer was zero voc when asked. (it was not) 5. Incorrect paint color used on ceiling (twice) This time, problems included: 1. Zero-voc Natura paint requested multiple times in estimate process, but estimate draft said "Regal" low-voc paint. Needed to request revision. 2. Painter arrives not knowing what needs to be painted and does not have paint 3. As painter leaves to purchase paint, I emphasize to get Natura paint; he returns with Regal paint and then needs to go back to the store again for the correct paint. 4. Complaint email sent; no response until I follow up requesting response to complaint email 5. Confirm cc information over the phone to project manager; receive an email two days later asking for cc information. I indicate I already provided cc information, but she insists cc had not been charged. I later see I've been charged twice. 6. $768 charged for interior work that took 5.5hrs. Even assuming a hefty cost of paint, it comes to over $100/hr which seems pricey. (Note that this was *with* a 20% discount on original price of over $900).

The company came to do the pre job look so we could make a game plan. The following day that came very early and started the job. The man sealed off the rooms that they we're working in. The workers worked in a excellent team to perform their jobs. After each day of work they cleaned and vacuumed ,which was a great help to us. Before they left they would go over everything they had done, and then proceed to what was going to happen the next day. The quality of work that was done so fast was outstanding. All the workers were extremely so polite and nice. And spoke to us through the day, as to leave no surprises, Arek,Shawn and Jeff were amazing. I would recommend this company to anyone, this was the best work I have ever had done for us. Everything was done the right way and more.

My husband and I decided that it was about time to paint the inside of our home. It had not been done in at least fifteen years. Finding and hiring a painter is not an easy task. We searched and searched and finally decided to hire George Apap Painting. It was the best decision we could have made. An appointment was made for a job estimate, and the rest is history. Set a date for the painting to begin and we are so pleased with the job. The painters, Arek, Scott and Voytek are top of the line professionals. Very punctual, polite, trustworthy and conscientious. We also did some joking around, which makes for a happy job. We would highly recommend this company to paint your home. The clean-up, which is important, was done with a smile. The painters were also very helpful to us personally. They even shoveled snow (steps,walkways, part of driveway) after the big snowstorm in January. We would certainly recommend and hire this company in the future.

I used George Apap Painting because two years ago I had them paint and repair the exterior of my house. They did an excellent job then, so I requested and was assigned the same crew. Arek, Dave, Corey, Shawn, Scott, Jeff and Voytek were on time every morning and worked the whole day, every day, and consulted with me when they (or I) had a question. They utilized the paints I requested, and helped me with my choices as to texture, coverage and number of coats. I had forgotten a couple of things I wanted done and they gladly added them to the job without a fuss. The results are spectacular! My wife and I are very pleased with the results. We would hire them in the future when we need painting done. They cleaned as they went, never left a mess overnight, and the jobsite was neat as a pin when they left. No drips, overspray or splatter on the walls or floors. I recommend them highly and without reservation. This is a truly professional and caring contractor staff!!!

To follow is why you would be crazy not to use Apap Painting for all your Painting Projects. Being recently retired and not wanting to go through the hassel of having to buy the paint, get all the appropriate tools, and of course the extended time and effort it would take if we did it ourselves, we were glad that we contacted the " Pink Panther Team " of Apap Painting. The team was Prompt, Courteous and Detail Oriented. Last but not least ,a beautiful and professional job resulted ! Hats off to Arek, Voytek ad the rest of the team. We highly recommend them, You won't be disappointed.!

On a scale of 1-100, this job was a 200. He was very punctual, very clean, when they left you would have never even known that people were here working for 3 days. They are reasonably priced, very pleasant to work with, and I am extremely satisfied with the work. If I had another job for them, I would have them back tomorrow. I highly, highly recommend them for all painting jobs.

Service from start to finish was excellent. I have worked with a voluminous amount of contractors , I would not only retain George Apap Painting again but strongly recommend. They were professional, had great presentation, and their crew did quality work with a specific time frame. Additionally, the crew had a positive rapport. They brought light to our new home with not only our new paint colors but energy too.

As new home owners and new parents we were looking for exceptional value. We found it at George Apap Painting. Our first interaction with the company was calling the office and setting up our free estimate. (Which they were more than flexible when it came to scheduling). From our initial contact with our estimator we knew this was the professionalism we were looking for. After a prompt proposal, the office scheduled our project around our timeline, which at the time, was a little complicated. We were particularly impressed when George himself shows up to check on the progress. Our new home is now ours. It looks amazing!!! Thank you Apap! I would highly recommend George Apap Painting to family, friends and strangers.

We had scheduling issues along the way, where he would not have anyone scheduled to come and workers would just show up, or he would schedule work to be done and the workers would come on another day. The original Bilco doors delivered to my house were also incorrect, and the correct doors were installed weeks later. Furthermore, the brick stone floor under the pergola was splattered with white paint stains. On the back deck step, there is also a brown paint stain, and I was told by the mason that this cannot be fixed. Their billing was also haywire. I tried several times speaking to the representatives from Apap, but I had to correct several billings along the way. They put in a new window rather than repairing the old window. This work was incorrectly noted on the Capital Improvements form and has since never been corrected, which can cause issues for me down the road if I want to sell the house. According the Kate in the office, the extra money I paid in August, so everything that was stained or painted brown, was what I was to be charged in mid-August, leaving only the white paint parts left. The only thing that is really a Capital Improvement is the side deck as it was an entirely new portion of the deck. The painting and staining of the front porch and back deck should not have been included in the Capital Improvements form, and Kate said billing would remove it, but this has not been completed. The carpenters blew out the circuits in my house when doing the deck work. Apap said I would have to pay to have an electrician to come out to fix the issue even though his workers were the ones who caused the issue. When the electrician came, after he checked everything out, he said Apap was paying for it. This is just another example of the miscommunication and unnecessary aggravation. All areas that were to be painted white, including the deck railings surrounding the house, the fence around the generator and air conditioning unit, the arbors, and the trellis/pergola were not finished or were done poorly. Most of it was not done at all, it was just dirty and not-treated. The bottom part of the garage foundation is the only part that looks like it was done correctly. The white paint on all other parts were blobs of paint surrounded by dirt, mold, or not even touched. I will have exposed wood during this upcoming winter, and I will need have to have all of this work re-done in the spring of 2016. Fundamentally, the problem is that nothing was cleaned before it was painted, or it wasn't painted at all, leaving exposed wood. We had previously discussed that I wanted the house to look clean and fresh, and after the painting was done poorly, George Apap advised that they don't clean as part of their normal prep. In addition to the work being incomplete and poorly done, they are now saying I owe them $2600. Not only do I not owe Apap any money, but I believe they owe me money as the mistakes George Apap made first need to be corrected, and then re-done, next year. Update 2/5/2016: Apap has since contacted me indicating that they "will write off the claimed balance if you remove all negative posts on social media (Angie's list etc) and agree not to make any further posts." I wouldn't agree, and they are now following through with a subpoena to appear in court.

The whole job went very well. They were able to accommodate our schedule, provided a fair price. The painters were very tidy and even helped us stain part of our flooring. We will be calling George Apap for our next painting job.

This company is by far the most efficient, people friendly, competent group of workers I have had the pleasure of knowing in many years. I initially hired them last May to paint the exterior of my home. From the beginning I had a good feeling that I had made an excellent choice of a painting company. After what I felt was a fair estimate, the contract was signed & I was introduced to Nicole who was assigned as my coordinator, and she efficiently kept me abreast of approximate start date, etc. by e-mail. When painting day arrived I was introduced to Arak, the personable, charming manager of the group, who call themselves "the pink panthers". They set about with little adieu, transforming my home quickly with no muss, fuss or bother. All of these fellows were collectively well mannered, happily working together as a unit. It was a thoroughly delightful experience. I again contacted the company without hesitation to paint my barn's exterior and asked specifically for the "pink panthers" to be assigned this project and was delighted to have them arrive on schedule with their amazing commaraderie. Am at the moment awaiting Arak's arrival to check on the outcome of another project well done. Come fall I will be again inlisting their services to refinish my kitchen floor with a checkerboard design that Arak will personally oversee. Can't wait! In the meantime, I am enjoying the excellent makeover of the exterior of my home thanks to these great guys. By the way, my husband is as pleased as I with the results!!!

Superb job. On time every day. Office staff kept me informed by phone and email. Contract was easy to understand and thorough. Painting crew was excellent! Courteous, professional, and paid attention to every detail. My husband and I recommend them highly.

In the living room they skim coated the wall around the fireplace patched where needed and primed/ painted the walls, molding and spindles on the stairway In the bed room they scraped, patched, sanded primed, and applied 2 coats of paint. Ceiling, walls, crown molding and window, and door. The bathroom and hallway were patched, sanded, primed and painted plus both sides of the door The family room had stress cracks in the ceiling which were repaired then primed and two coats of paint. In each room all the furniture and floor were covered, All switch plates, and curtain rods were removed before painting the replaced. The crew were very professional, and polite, Showed up on time and worked very hard. only break was for lunch At the end of each day they cleared up and put back anything they had to move We would hire George Apap again and will tell any one who needs a painter to don't think twice about it , call George .
