They were fantastic and I cannot say enough good things about them. Paul, the painter, Jonathan, the carpenter and Meredith the receptionist were fantastic. They answered all my questions and they called up later to follow up.

I cannot say enough possitive things about George APAP painting, inc. Senior Mr. Apap had previously painted our house twice and we had always been happy with his work. The company is now run by his sons. George, jr. came out to give us an estimate which we accepted and we scheduled a tenative start date. The painting was started and the painters arrived daily at the scheduled time. The painters came (Paul, and his son Mike) and when I say they were neat, clean,professional, polite it is an understatement. They taped the portions of the house that needed to be taped and proceeded to paint. There was NOT one drop of paint anywhere! At the end of each day everything they were using was placed in the garage, very neatly. The house looks fantastic:) In fact we liked them so much I have George, jr. coming next week for an estimate for the interior.

This went very well. The price originally quoted for the whole house was much higher than other contractors on Angie's List. However, I paid less this year than I would have paid the other contractor, because George adjusted as below. I think the service and quality were really superior. This is a family company in my town for generations. They have a good reputation, and they have an office I can walk into to talk to people. I prefer this to the contractor who answers his own cell phone on the job someplace else. Meridith in the office set up the appointments. George Apap came to my house, I think at least 3 times. When the first estimate was beyond my means, he said he would work with me to get it done in stages if necessary. He gave me several options (walls only, no trim; three sides, etc.) He asked how much I could spend, and that's exactly what he charged me. I chose to do three sides and this was set up. He sent Derek, who did a good job, much of it himself... but someone stepped on the downspout of my gutter. I had Derek's cell phone number, and when I let him know, he arranged to come back himself and replace the gutter, and touch up a spot that the painters had missed. This was all done in a timely manner. Next year we do the rest of the house. I'm saving up for that.
