+ -1 moreMy garage door would not open so I called the number on a sticker next to the garage opener. It was after hours so I left my info and got a call back first thing in the morning. The woman who answered the phone was very nice and professional. She said someone would be there to fix the door within an hour. Sure enough, Bill and his coworker were there on time and immediately assessed the situation. Within 30 mins I had a working garage door. They were amazingly nice as well as efficient. They charged a fair price and my door is now working better than ever. I highly recommend Bill Driscoll Jr's Garage Door!!!!!

Description of Work: The pulley broke on my very old, very heavy wood door. When Brian arrived he noted that the cables were also very frayed. We also decided to replace the springs which were very old. They understood that I didn't want to replace the door and never tried to sell me a new door. Brian installed a temporary fix but the door was too heavy for their standard pulleys and cables and he would return in a few days with appropriate components. On the second visit it turned out the door was too heavy for any of the springs Bill Reynolds normally stocks so they installed the right pulleys and cables and the heaviest springs they had with them and said they would order the right springs and be back to install them...which they did a week later. No extra charges for 3 visits, no tracking down the vendor just GREAT service. Have used Bill Reynolds in other houses and would absolutely use them again. Hard to find a vendor this consistently good.

+ -1 moreThe technician, Brian, that came over quickly diagnosed the problem, showed me everything and explained what needed to be done. He finished the whole job in one hour and it works perfectly now. The price was $!50 less than the nearest competitor and the job was expertly handled with a smile! And Brian, the technician, made sure all remotes were programmed and that the system would work perfectly upon his departure. Which it does. I had already spent $178 on a technician who did not fix the problem and wanted me to spend another $600 to replace the system. No thank you. I'd use Reynolds any and every time.
Description of Work: We had our Liftmaster Garage door opener, belts, sensors, indoor keypad and outdoor keypad replaced.

+ -1 moreI have been using Bill Reynolds since approximately 1989 when they first installed my current very large wooden double garage door. I had no compaints about their services then, nor do I now. Over the years they have returned occasionally for general maintenance, some minor repairs and/or replacement parts. They respond promptly and schedule appointments to my convenience. This particular service was performed on the Saturday morning of Christmas/New Years week and was treated as any other work day. All of the representatives I have been in contact with have been courteous and professional and cheerful. Pricing is very reasonable. The door is now again operating smoothly and quietly despite its age. I only regret I didn't call them sooner. My daughter and I tried to deal with the problem ourselves for a while hoping it would somehow magically fix itself.
Description of Work: Door sporadically would not open or close with automatic opener. Sometimes needed to be moved manually. Rollers came off track at times. Repairs included replacing pulleys and long stem rollers. Also adjustment of tracks, service and lubrication.

I have dealt with more than my share of home improvement companies that have performed poorly beginning with not returning phone calls, not showing up for appointments and doing inferior work. Bill Reynolds Garage Doors is an outstanding company that made the whole process of choosing and installing garage doors a true pleasure.
Description of Work: They took down our existing 2 garage doors including the tracks and replaced them with 2 new doors with new track and new vinyl trim. They took away the old doors and tracks.

Our appointment was set for 8 AM, the installer arrived on time and worked quickly and efficiently and was finished by approximately 3 PM.
Description of Work: They replaced two wooden garage doors with steel doors and reinstalled the automatic opener on one. They were very professional, on time and cleaned up all debris.

They came out, did a fantastic job of taking out the old door, and put the new one in easily. I will be recommending them to everyone I know for now on.
Description of Work: We had them install a classic line single car, 9 by 7 foot automatic garage door with the motor and the remote unit. It took them about a day to do this and all waste was thrown away by them.
