Zinks replaced my 50+ year old septic system--did it quickly, stuck to the estimate, cleaned up, answered all my questions promptly--before, during and after installation. If only all contractor experiences were this good.

He fit me in at the end of that week which totally surprised me but he said he knew what I was up against and could put off some other work. He took special care not to disturb existing trees and plantings. His price was more than fair. I can't say enough good things about Barry Zinks Septic Solutions! Hire this guy!!!

When we had a problem with system, Barry was excellent to deal with. He was able to inspect our system and diagnose problem very quickly. As soon as permit was received, he was ready and installed system right away. Excellent communication. If I had to leave a message, he always returned my calls.

It could not have gone better. Zinks Septic Solutions was highly recommended to us by our septic pumper. We called and Barry Zink came on the same day and got us temporarily operational while they applied for the county health department approvals to proceed. When the approval was given, they showed up and did the job in less than a day in a half -- they had to wait for the county inspection before closing everything up. There was only about two hours, or less, when we couldn't use the water in the house. When all the work was complete, the work area was nicely graded and raked. I couldn't ask for more. They even transplanted a tree that was in the way. The price was actually less than I expected.

From the first point of contact, Barry was very helpful in guiding us through the process of replacing our old septic system with a new connection to a municipal sewer system. When we purchased our home we had the existing polyurethane septic tank inspected by the same company who installed it (not Zinks Septic Solutions). They claimed everything was fine even though it looked like the tank was caving in on itself. After a couple of weeks of living there we could not deal with the smell in the back yard and very disappointed. The clean-out lids could no longer screw on due to how warped the tank had become. We called Barry (owner of Zinks Septic Solutions) to get a second opinion. He was super friendly and came out to take a look. He was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all the questions we had. He explained why the tank caved in like it did and how it was not installed properly. After discussing options we decided to have Zinks replace the tank with a new concrete one. They showed up and went straight to work. They definitely know what they are doing and had the new tank in by early afternoon. They took their time and did a nice job grading the backyard / hill where the septic tank was installed. So happy and relieved that it was done right and we don't have to worry about future issues! We highly recommend Zinks Septic Solutions to anyone looking for septic work to be done!

Barry Zink was a pleasure to work with. He clearly knew his stuff, and refuted another provider's assertion that 1) our grandfathered system broke health dept code; 2) if snaking the line didn't work we would need to replace the entire system; and 3) that replacing just the line to the tank wouldn't work. He was prompt (which is impressive the distance we live from Palmyra) and came out on a Saturday to assess our situation. He was on the job himself, and resolved the issue for far less than the cost of a new system. We highly recommend Zinks Septic Solutins to anyone who wants honest work at a fair price.
