I don’t typically submit bad reviews because it will negatively impact a business that might have circumstances I don’t know about that contributed to their performance. The fact that I am writing this review is an indication of how bad a company I think B&N Disposal is. The company tells you their trucks are on the road in our neighborhood at 6AM, but the trucks frequently show up in the afternoon. They threaten you with extra charges if your trash exceeds the container capacity or the imaginary circle they draw around your larger container. The management of this company lacks integrity. They have the worst customer care record of any company I have ever dealt with. There is one clerk in the office who has no authority to do anything. Her reply is always the same, she will inform management, knowing full well that the family owned company management has no intention of ever responding to you. As a consumer using this company I stayed loyal to them even though a competitor, Waste Management, offered the service at a lower price and without the threatening communications. WM routinely made their pick-ups in our neighborhood at an earlier hour than B&N. They implemented a mandatory “Pay In Advance” policy requiring you to prepay for three months of service in order to use their service. The final straw came when, after being a B&N customer for over twenty years and putting up with all their nonsense we moved out of state halfway through month one of three that we prepaid for. B&N refused to refund the two months we were required to prepay!! We didn’t even ask for the partial month one to be reimbursed. They repay loyalty with dishonesty. This company is so low class they literally stole $40 from me for two months of cancelled service. I can’t think of any other business that would require you to prepay then have the audacity to keep your money when they clearly did not perform the service that was paid for. We did not switch to another service, we moved out of state! I am embarrassed to admit I did business with them for so long. This company has no integrity and I highly recommend you consider taking your trash business elsewhere.
