They replaced old cabinet doors and drawer fronts, made me new countertop, installed new sink and faucet. I also had they make me new 54" double cabinet with drawers and doors to match the new cabinet doors and countertop. Joe the installer was very efficient and Wayne the owner was very helpful when we were purchasing. There never was any pressure and he matched my old sides to a T so my kitchen looks brand new I would definitely use them again.

I originally bought my kitchen cabinets from Home Depot. I went back to Home Depot to purchase either base cabinets or wall cabinets for a kitchen island I was building. I needed cabinets with a kick plate (base cabinet) but did not want the drawer of a base cabinet. (the overhang of the counter top would interfere with the use of the drawer, rendering the drawer useless and wasting storage space) Home Depot was not able to help me so I started looking online for custom cabinets and came across a cabinet line called "Sun something or other" I think. This website listed Midway Cabinets as a distributor/retailer and I called them. I told them my story about Home Depot and they suggested I come in with one of the doors to my current cabinets. When I showed the owner my door, he said that the design looked familiar and searched his store for something similar. To my surprise, they did carry the same manufacturer as my cabinets, just under a different line name. I explained that I was building a kitchen island and wanted floor cabinets without a drawer, but did not want to pay the high cost of "island cabinets". So we ordered 2 wall cabinets (just 18" and 24" deep instead of the standard 12") and Midway put wood kick plates on the bottom of the wall cabinets. Viola! custom base cabinets without the drawers. These "island cabinets" are the same wood and stain as my original and match perfectly. You could never tell that they were installed 3 years after I had my kitchen redone! The $1300.00 cost included handles, moulding and other parts I needed for the project.

I originally purchased American WoodMark kitchen cabinets from Home Depot in 2008. I needed to buy 2 matching cabinets for a kitchen island project. I wanted modified base cabinets. I needed the cabinets to have a reduced depth and without a drawer (the drawer would be useless with a countertop over hang). Home Depot was not able to do this and they suggested wall cabinets because they come without a drawer. Penisula cabinets would not work since I did not need all-around access. This also meant that the cabinets had to be ordered with an extended depth-no problem. The only problem was that wall cabinets do not have a toekick. So I was stuck. I searched all over the internet for RTA (ready-to-asemble) cabinets. I felt that I could customize the depth myself. I found a brand of RTA cabinets and called the manufacturer to get a local distributor and they sent me to MidWay Cabinets. When I called Midway, they suggested I bring in a door so that we could try to match the style and color of my cabinets. When I got there one of the brothers-Robert, took one look at my door and said the door looked like a line they just started to carry. To our amazement, my door match the new line. It is not called American Woodmark (exclusive to Home Depot) but WayPoint. This was great news because I was able to order matching wall cabinets in style and color and since they are cabinet makers, they built the toekicks for the cabinets and they look great!!!
