Kevin and KP Contracting did a exceptional job. That is almost an understatement. Kevin was hired as a subcontactor by our General Contractor. Our General contractor (see my other reviews) was terrible and even though Kevin did not have to he picked up the ball and helped us out by finishing the job and doing quality work even though it was at a financial loss to him to do so. When we hired our other contractor to correct the mistakes our old contractor made Kevin walked our new contractor through our house and explained things on a level that we were not capable of doing. Kevin helped turn a bad experience into a good one. If it was not for him my wife and I would not be able to move into our house. We are humbled at his kindness and in awe of his excellent work (I am not exaggerating at all).

The project went excellently. The workers were wonderful and they worked full time to get the job done.

KP is always responsive to the customers concerns. They were always able to be reached. As you probably already know, a kitchen has a lot of details. KP keeps regular structured hours. I frequently recommend them based on my experiences.

They did a fantastic job; it was a beautiful job. They did an excellent job with the marble work and sheet rock.They were there every day on time and got the job done in a very timely manner. I was very happy with their work and I wished I could give them an A+.

Before hiring KP contracting, we heard several great reviews so we were confident that the job would be quality. Let me tell you, the job came out better than we could have ever imagined!! Despite a challenging winter, with several feet of snow, the crew was at our house every morning, and the boss was there every working minute of every day! The KP team are extremely talented and professional, doing flawless work, both inside the walls and out. They helped us bring our dream basement to life!! The team at KP helped us with many creative, efficient, and cutting edge design ideas which we will enjoy for several years to come! I HIGHLY recommend KP contracting for any home improvement job; you will not be disappointed at the level of quality they bring at a very reasonable cost.

Work started on schedule. Contractor (Kevin) works on-site with his crew. He adhered to the work hours and rules of the condo association. Complete gutting of kitchen, bathroom, removal of closet doors and rugs completed in two days. All debris removed from premises. As work progresses, you "Go Shopping" for tile, granite, fixtures, paint color, etc. . Kevin reviews your choices, recommending products and vendors. He does the buying, supporting many of the local businesses for cabinets, paint, granite, plumbing supplies. The quality of the workmanship is excellent. They work very neat and organized, paying attention to details. There were no major plumbing or electrical "discoveries" increasing the cost of the job. Original cost estimates were accurate based on age of the building and renovations being done. Renovations were completed within the estimated time and budget. Very happy with the results of the renovations. Also received positive feedback from the neighbors regarding the courtesy extended to them in sharing the one building elevator and the efforts made to keep the common areas clean of construction debris.

I have used Kevin Paulich (KP) and his crew on several properties my family owns in the Queens area. From exterior work (cement, stucco, brick work) to whole bathroom and kitchen renovations to basement remodels Kevin does it all and his work without question is top notch. Bottom line he does not disappoint. Kevin is a contractor who is hands on and involved in all phases of the construction supervising and working on every project. From initial estimate, to gut out, to framing, electrical, plumbing and heating and finish work he is there. In the kitchen and bathroom renovations, most contractors in a complete gut out sometimes leave preexisting plumbing and electrical, Kevin goes the extra mile and and makes sure all new pipes and electrical are installed fom the ground up. Most recently when Hurricane Sandy came to pay a visit at one of our properties basements, I called Kevin again and he was right on it. He came in and quickly gutted out the entire basement and we let it dry out for several weeks so there would be no mold issues. KP and his crew changed the empty and stark basement into a usable living space with a sensational bathroom, office space, laundry and living area and deep closets for storage.. His attention to detail is what makes the difference. Some contractors while doing tile work for floors would just begin laying tile down, instead Kevin uses self leveling cement prior to installation to make sure the floor is completely level. Even down to the baseboards Kevin uses top quality materials not builder specials products. Even the studs which you will never see behind the sheetrock, Kevin uses metals studs which may cost a little bit more but are of a better quality and resistant to rot. I have also seen some of Kevin's other projects and the work is always done right and other customers I talk to same the same thing - quality job done right. KP ( Kevin) was on site from day one of the project and was present thru out the entire process every day. He is actually a integral part of the crew and I never had to worry that there was work going on that wasn't supervised. I was confident in the fact that my intrests were being looked out for, and that made the job a lot less stressful. The KP crew as prompt and worked a structured day. The work site was clean and organized. These are the qualities that you look for in either a major renovation or a small scale project. As the project drew to a close, my home as severly damaged by hurricane Sandy. A good part of the work that had been done was destroyed. KP offered his assistance immediatly after the storm ( for no charge) and was involved in the clean up & rebuilding process and in a timely fashon my home was restored to it's original condition. " like it never happened". In a time when there are so many horror stories about contractors I feel I was lucky in that I didn't have to worry about watching the contractor. They watched out for me, and that left me to concentrate on all the other details that needed to be dealt with. I would recommend KP to anyone considering spending good money on home improvement.
