Description of Work: *Over 3 hrs. late *Electrician who arrived to perform the work was not licensed and was not supervised by a licensed electrician. *Journeyman continuously tried to extend the job beyond the specific focus provided by the owner. *Contract was poorly written, small type, poorly organized and did not provide a labor or material warranty. Electrical office would not address the warranty issue. They just said, if there was a issue to contact the and they would resolve it. *A copy of the contract was not provided to the owner. *Electrical worker could not find the address. He was on foot. He and the electrical office were not in direct communication to have this work start on or near the start time. The appointment was for 10am on 2/10/16. At 10:20am, the office claimed the electrical worker would be there in an hour. I contact them again at 11:30am and they could not reach him. I advised them that they needed to get another electrician at my residence to address the issue. By 1pm, the electrical worker called me stating that he was not sure how to get to my location. He stated he was on foot and did not have a vehicle. *Electrical worker tried to do other work not requested b tee owner. For example, use spackling compound to fill in sheet rock already around the ceiling fixtures and to remove was wiring that was not connected or part of the issues he was asked to address. *Electrical worker was talking on his cell phone during the entire job. He also hung up on his office while the owner and the office were reviewing the final cost of the job to take a personal call. The owner had to call the office back to complete the process. *Electrical worker was sweating profusely and needed to take a 20 minute break. He did not reduce the amount of time for his break from the final time allotment for the job. When he returned, the electrical worker's appearance and behavior was consistent with someone who had substance abuse issues. He told the owner that he was not always a good person.

Description of Work: we have doorbells and a buzzer release to allow people into the building I own on an intercom system. The doorbells worked but the buzzer release did not and that was what we asked this "electrician" to repair.

Description of Work: Upgrade electrical service to the building. Rewire two floors in the building installing outlets, wall and ceiling, new circuit breakers on each floor, and intercom system.

Description of Work: I called Joseph Weinstein Electric Corp. on a somewhat urgent matter requiring same-day service on a holiday (July 4) week. Other companies had said they could not come until the following week, but the Joseph Weinstein Electric Corp. sent someone right over. Dexter arrived within a few hours and stayed until the problem was resolved. He took a great deal of care in testing and analyzing the problem to determine what needed to be done, and he was willing to explain every step in detail. Dexter was very professional and seemed to have a thorough know of electrical systems. He was able to fix the problem that afternoon. I will definitely use this company again.

Description of Work: Estimate for installing, replacing lighting, adding outlets

Description of Work: Upgraded 3 old mercury thermostats with digital units. New phone jacks installed in 3 rooms. Defective electrical socket replaced.

Description of Work: In conjunction with another company, redid the electrical my apartment. ALL wrong. Including box, polarity and grounding. EVERYTHING. Violation placed on them. They never fixed and it was placed on ME. Awful, awful, awful. Don't know if THEY actually did the work (know the other company's plasterer was monkeying around with my recessed lights), but it was THEIR license and THEIR permit used to abuse my home and endanger my kids. Had to have it all ripped out and redone at massive expense.

Description of Work: THIS COMPANY CAME OUT AND FIXED A COUPLE OF LIGHT FIXTURES IN MY HOME. THEY ALSO DID A FEW OTHER SMALL REPAIRS.
