It went fantastic, not only did Valentino correct the original problem with the previous hard wood door installation. He also, installed to storm door without any problems. He came to my home full of great customer service. Firstly, information on recommendations regarding color, type of suitable door and pricing. He was very sociable and a delight to work with. Of course, based on all the great service and price. This business deserves an A rating well deserved. My Aunt that lives next door also purchased a Steel Security door and is extremely pleased. However, she will write her own review reflecting on her great experience. I live in Whitestone & was pleased that I found such a good place to do business with! Thank you Valentino!

The aluminum awning for our carport was failing so we contacted several vendors on Angie's List to replace it. I found Custom Windows & Doors to be very professional - for the estimate Valentino was on time and was careful to explain all of the options and answer all of our questions without feeling rushed. And there was no hard sell during the visit to do the estimate, which I really appreciated. After reviewing several bids we decided to go with Custom Windows & Doors. We had some scheduling challenges due to work commitments and the fact that we were having our roof replaced at the same time and Valentino was very flexible, never got annoyed when we kept changing dates. And during this time when communicating with his office they were very organized, none of of our updates "fell between the cracks". Eventually we got the date figured out and Custom Windows & Doors came on site and knocked the job out in a day. And our awning looks great! Valentino himself was here all day to supervise the work and answer and keep us up to date. And his crew did a nice job cleaning up afterwards. At every level (communications, punctuality, workmanship, etc.) I was really impressed with Custom Windows & Doors and would highly recommend them.

Initial contact and estimate very professional. Installers right on time, very friendly and professional Office personal needs a course in customer service. Calls inquiring about installation and time went unanswered after leaving several messages. When call was finally returned we were dealt with unprofessionally. Like she was doing us a favor to even tell us when the doors would be installed. It was like pulling teeth to get her to commit to AM or PM. Her expectation was that we would stay home all day and just wait.

Excellent job. Valentino and Brown did a great thorough job. They're responsive to the customer, they're very polite and responsible, they even make suggestion which were helpful.

The owner, office staff, and installers provided prompt, professional, and courteous service. The awnings were installed without problem. They kept both entranceways dry during a downpour shortly after installation, one of several indications that they were well installed. I would recommend Custom Windows & Doors to anyone who asked..

First they evaluated the doors and gates needed, and installation challenges. Then about 7 weeks later they returned and installed a screen door, a new vinyl window, a window gate designed to accommodate an air-conditioner and a security door. It went well, they dealt with the idiosycracies of my house, the gentleman who came and measured and gave me the bid and the two young men who did the installation were all professional, helpful and nice. My only dissatisfaction is that the security door, which comes with glass (for winter) and screen (for summer), only came with a single (1/2) screen! For a thousand dollar plus door! I was a little surprised, as every security door I've ever had always had a top and bottom screen. Somehow I did not understand this. But I will go to Home Depot and make my own half screen. So just make sure you know exactly what you are getting for the price. But, again, the installation guys did a good job and left my home in good shape. I wanted to add: because of the installation of the casing around the door they had to reinstall my old doorbell. The man did a fine job, but a few days later the bell began to ring late at night. I was able to "uninstall" it, but I left the wires loose, and called them them the next day for advice. Valentino was great; he came TWICE; first to advise me, and then came back the following week to install a NEW doorbell! He made sure everything was working, this was beyond the scope of the project and he generously provided his help to make sure I was happy, and did not charge me for it! Great follow up!!!

They did a very good job. When we noticed something off with the decorative items on the awning, they came back and fixed the issue. The awning is beautiful. So much in fact, we re-hired them to put another at the back door. The awning was something we did for "curb-appeal" to help the house get sold quicker. And it certainly did help! The new owners are happy with it.

Went relatively well. We weren't informed our lintel was bad so we still don't have a perfect look even with new window. Then after old window ripped out they had to break away a lot of brick to make window fit which wasn't expected. There are now gaping holes under the wood moldings I feel should have been plastered instead of just fiberglass filled. Window does look nice. Just hope no leaks develop. Owner Valentino is a nice gentleman!

I called the company for a estimate for a awning.When they came over they were very thorough as for the dimensions that were needed and they seemed very reasonable with there pricing . I did receive estimates from other companies and my final decision was with to go with Custom Windows and Doors. I was very satisfied with the installation and highly recommend them.

It was an estimate and confirm the work that he will be doing when he brings my security door. He was on time for the appointment.

Hi, I have used this company before about 3 years ago to install my windows and when I needed a awning I called them back. The owner came out went over details and the installation went well. It all looks great.

It went well. Took time. The guy had to figuring out how to place wood over brick so it doesn't bow out on the top of the door. He put the capping in a way that when water hits it ,it acts like a drip edge. I was concerned but it looks like it will work. He caulked the capping to the AC so no water gets behind it.

Everything went well. The workers are great at what they do. I had 3 problems that val personally came out to address. 1. I wanted satin nickel hardware and the door company sent gold. 2. The peephole was installed 5 inches too high, it was useless, I live in a step down basement. 3. The door sill was just floating and bowed in when anyone stepped on it. No support under it. Val came back himself and installed the satin nickel hinges and fixed the peephole problem. He installed a satin nickel door knocker in place of the wrongly placed peephole and drilled a hole and installed a new peephole that I can actually reach and see through. The guys came out a week later and fixed the door sill situation. Now everyone can step on it and it supports our weights and doesn't bow in. The door looks beautiful. The door knocker makes the door look even better. I give them a B for price because that pretty costly. Val will say....but it's custom 😀

Provider arrived promptly to give an estimate and install railing. However, after about 3 months it began to rust. I called the office several times to speak to the owner and he never returned my calls. Finally, when I sent a certified letter he called back. He told me that rust is not covered in the warrantee and that it was my fault for putting plants on the stoop. He said that he would do me the favor of painting over the rust this one time which they did.

They replaced a door that was damaged by the hurricane. They were pretty good and they showed up on time. The salesperson gave me a lot of options. They are one of the only companies that I could find that provides rounded top storm doors. The only issue I had was they gave very short notice when they would be doing the installation. I let them know the door needed to be installed by noon and the install ran over by two hours.

I called the company & made an appointment the owner came & gave me a fair price. For what I needed. The installation was good and I am happy with all the work.
