Estimate appointment was arranged quickly. Price was in range of other installers. Workers came early on the weekend. Work was completed as described. All debris was cleaned up. Recommend them.

When I asked about what it would cost to install the Bilco lock he quoted me $625 and that it would take about 2 to 3 hours. On the Bilco website and at Home Depot, reviewers said it was easy to install and took about 30 - 40 minutes. When I said that reviewers said it could be done in about a half hour, he said there was a template involved and it was complicated. This was simply not true and so I concluded that this was just a rip off attempt to make me pay $625 for something that could be done in much less time for much less money. In the end, I ordered the lock from a building supply site and I got my handyman to do the job. It took him 45 minutes (using the nefarious template) and I gave him $100.

I wanted to replace a Bilco door with a Bilco door and factory authorized installers were hard to find. I could find lesser quality doors at home stores, and even Bilco doors, but had no one to install them. I called ABC Bilco and their salesman Mike drove out on a Sunday to meet with me and discuss the options. It took two months to get the actual door from the manufacturer and for them to install it. The installers were excellent! They raised up the cement around the door to prevent water leakage (old door sat on the patio concrete). The new door works great and needs no maintenance. The piston closure mechanism makes for easy closing. I am very pleased!

Work went smoothly, on schedule and completed with a high degree of craftsmanship...backyard drywell corrected a water issue in garage that was around for 30 years...beams were actually replaced without charge.. work area was completely cleaned up with no residual mess left behind...recommended without reservation...

My experience with them was good. They were clean and fast, and that's most important. They were reliable and that was important. There are not many of them around and this is just the one around, and so I went with them. They were responsive when I called them. Overall the door turned out good. It's a 9 out of 10. They did a good job. I wasn't here when they came and when I came back, it was done already. I interacted with their boss but not with the employees.

The installation went well and the product is fine. Installers arrived on time, and work was professional. My big complaint is with the price. The sales person said they have the exclusive on these door and price is the same no matter where I call. I agreed to the price, against my better judgement to get additional estimates. Later on, I saw many adds in the NY Daily News, Queens edition for similar doors (maybe not the same brand) for half the price. I also found they are sold by special order at Lowes. So, while the installation and product is fine, I feel I was vastly overcharged for the product. My advise is to shop carefully and you will save lots of money.

Mike and John did a great, professional job. Found them on Bilco website as recommended installers; most contractors have little or no experience in properly installing an angled basement door of his type as it must be custom fitted to the site and set in concrete. the job was perfectly executed in all respects and completed in a single day...the doors and surround were prepainted by them to match the color of exterior walls. We were concerned about the beam issue and were relieved after mike determined the beams were not structural supports (several other contractors advised to the contrary); they used pretreated 4and quot; by 4and quot;s and made it better than new. The drywells were necessitated by low spots in the yard caused by Hurricane Sandy. The work was executed really well; prices were in line with other proposals. We were kept informed about progress and received calls when they couldn't work on several rain days; they provided a written contract and left the yard spotless.
