E Scheblein Plumbing & Heating

I've gotten good service from Scheblein, but their prices have skyrocketed, so I can't use them anymore. I was charged $435 for a 45-minute call to attach a regulator to a generator. Service only, no parts. Let's put that in perspective. My daughter, who has a Master's Degree gets $125/hour for tutoring. Good attorneys get $450/hour. Psychologists with PhDs get $150-250/hour. And Scheblein gets $435/hour?

He never fixed the problem in 2017. He said the washer was not vented and he installed something on the drain pipe of the sink too try to help but I lived for three years with water backing up at least four or five inches into the sink whenever I did laundry. I don't consider that success. Now, after three years, having wound up with water backing up further and actually overflowing from the sink onto the counters and floor, I called in another plumber who said there was definitely a clogged line and probably there always had been. He opened up the wall and cleaned everything out, and guess what? I DO have a vent. Eric and his guys never solved the problem or even looked for it by snaking out the line and looking to see why the water was backing up. I could have had this problem solved three years ago if his guys knew what they were doing. Very disappointing. I have not used Eric for a couple of years because he became unreliable, but now I am grateful I couldn't get him here.

I used Eric Scheblein and his father before him for decades. They were reliable and knew their stuff. All of a sudden, they have become unreliable and unresponsive. I called for three months trying to get to at least speak to Eric about the work I needed done and could not get a call back. His office kept telling me he was so busy he was never in the office and they never even "saw him". Give me a break. He had just gone tens of thousands of dollars of work for me in this new house within the past couple of years. Something has gone very wrong here, he has left me without a plumber, and the lack of response after decades is disturbing more than puzzling. Obviously his company has become unreliable. They certainly are not responsive.

E Scheblein Plumbing & Heating is the company that my Co-Op uses when they need to use a plumber, this is why I used them. I was expecting a reasonable price on installation of my faucet and connecting my sink. Something like a "Good Customer" price. The next time I need a plumber I will look for another plumber. Having said that. The quality of the workmanship was excellent.

Eric is a professional. He is courteous, knowledgable and reasonable. He gave me a proposal for the work which I accepted. We arranged a date and 2of his workers arrived on time. They brought in the equipment, covered the floors and went to work. They were careful and neat. Eric came by about an hour after they started and he checked their work. I had a Weil McLain boiler installed with new pipes, electrical and new valves. I was very pleased with the work. The guys made sure the boiler was working and all pilot lights were in order before they left. Eric sends the bill by mail. He has also done extensive work for two other friends who also agree that he is a professional.

Recommend by my oil provider. Eric was immediately responsive. The price was competitive and work was professional and neat.

He came himself with an assistant. He was courteous and got right to work on the problems. He gave me a price before he started and finished the job promptly. He arrived within the window of time he said he would.

Impeccable. Eric and his men do great work. They are knowledgeable and respond quickly to calls.

These gentlemen were referred to us by a friend of my husband s and we were very glad he told us about them. They were very respectful of our home, cleaned up as if they were never there, and the quality of their work was impeccable. I highly recommend them to anyone that needs a real professional plumber.
