+ -1 moreThe work was extremely well done. The materials recommended were top quality and a bit expensive, but the stability of the railings is very impressive. They will last for many, many years. When doing a job, John listens carefully to what it is you want as an end result. He then explains different options. He is a perfectionist and he goes out of his way to make sure his customers are happy. He came highly recommended to us by friends as well as a family member. We will contact him first when we have another project.
Description of Work: We had new vinyl railings installed on our front steps last week. A year and a half ago we had this contractor give our kitchen what we refer to as a face lift and we were so pleased with his work, we wanted him to do this recent job.

Description of Work: THE PROVIDER COMPLETED A TYPED ESTIMATE INCLUDING TOTAL COST AND SERVICES TO BE PROVIDED. MY HUSBAND AND I WENT TO LOWE'S AND ORDERED ALL FIXTURES NEEDED - FIXTURES ARE IN. I ANGIE TO LET HIM KNOW. THE LAST MESSAGE FROM HIM WAS HE WAS FINISHING SOME OTHER WORK AND PROBABLY WOULD GET TO US AFTER THANKSGIVING. IT'S AFTER THANKSGIVING AND GUESS WHAT? WE'RE LOOKING FOR ANOTHER PLUMBER.

Description of Work: Replaced and installed 2 basement doors. Also weather proofed the front door. John does excellaent work. He is very skilled and his work reflects his professionalism. His price is higher than most but I do not mind paying more for excellent work.

+ 2 moreJohn is punctural, reliable, professional, and easy to work with. We have worked with John on multiple projects. All have gone smoothly from start to finish on a timely basis with fabulous results.
Description of Work: John replaced the bedroom and closet floor with hardwood and had it stained to match the existing hallway floor. He also replaced the kitchen ceiling and light fixtures. He subcontracted work with other professionals of the highest caliber to replaster the ceiling, finish the floors and paint. Additionally, John replaced a large second story wooden deck with a new aluminum product. Our level of confidence in Schweikart Construction is so high that we asked John to work these big jobs in our absence. We came home to meticulous workmanship. If you are looking for "THE BEST"- hire John Schweikart.

The finished products reflect his attention to detail. John is prompt, tidy, and easy to work with. My husband and I give him the highest of praise and intend on using him for all future home improvement.
Description of Work: John designed and rebuilt 2 fireplace mantles. We have hired him previously to replace tile with wood floors. He wainscoated our hallway and rounded staircase. He has remodeled two bathrooms.
