 + -1 moreOverall, our experience was great. I would highly recommend J R Comerford and Son. Based on our experience with the person that scheduled our appointment (via phone) and the quality of the work that Craig did (and the manner in which he did it) I would highly recommend their services.
Description of Work: We had recently purchased our home in Oswego and wanted to have our heating system checked out before the winter. We contacted J R Comerford and Son and they responded promptly. Craig, the service manager, was the person that came to our home. He was completely professional, friendly and thorough in going over the system with us - it is a very old steam system,and one with which we were not very familiar - and helped us understand the way it worked. There were repairs to be made and Craig did a great job of explaining the type of repair, and the necessity of having it done. He performed the work efficiently.

 + -1 moreHe is very good. He doesn't even need Angie's List because he has so much business. He just knows us and he has been around for a very long time. He is honest. He is reasonable and he is very busy. You will have to wait for sometime until it is an emergency. He said that he could fix the furnace and he also said it was a kind of furnace that had so many switches and this and that on it. He tends to break it because it needed a new board. The furnace was acting very stupid and he had brought one helper with him and the helper could not find out the problem. When Mr. Comerford came, he figured out the problem and I didn't mind spending money on the board to fix the furnace as it was going to break again. He gave me the good price. He took away the old one. He also went a little beyond that because I needed holes outside pipe and he installed it at the same time for $120 and that was reasonable to me because before that we couldn't use the holes. I knew he was right because I had problem on and off with it.
Description of Work: I used J R Comerford & Son for installing a furnace. The last time I used him was in March this year.
