We have a monthly budget plan which makes payment (which varies from year to year) easy and reasonable. The automatic delivery system is great. The office staff is professional and helpful. I would not even consider using another company.

I was a Will Call customer for about fours years with this company.The home that was serviced is a seasonal home, I live 4 hours away. I heated this home in the winter. I needed Will Call service so I could manage the snow removal of the driveway before delivery. When I had cleared the snow from the drive I would call for propane delivery. I would never let the tank get to low, it was a 500 gallon tank, delivery was made within of few days of calling. Glider Oil started restricting deliveries to once a month, third Monday of the month, in 2011. Everything started to go down hill from there. Delivery tickets were to be mailed to me. If you paid cash within 5 days of delivery you would receive a 20 cent per gallon discount. I never received the delivery ticket for seven days or sometimes not at all. I would call the office in Pulaski, NY and speak with office manager Kim. Kim was very rude and tell me it was past the five days no discount. Then Glider's third Monday of the month deliveries were not happening. Glider was changing the delivery day without notice to me. Again called Kim, very rude. I contacted owner Gary Shanley by phone, things straightened out for a while. Then again the same issues came about I tried to contact owner again no luck, then I wrote a letter no response. General manager Mike Clary, in Pulaski office, contacted me by letter stating, he was going to pull my tank to many issues. I contacted Mike by letter and phone and addressed all the issues.Glider Started a pre-buy program to buy propane at a fixed price for the season. I pre-bought all my propane for the season hoping this would cure the discount issue. Again, Glider was not following their third Monday of the month rule and then tried to tell me that I was an automatic fill customer, which I could not be and never was for reasons explained. They filled my tank with the last of my pre-bought gallons in March and I informed them that I was good until next year. They then top off my tank without my permission, with current price propane over $3.199 a gallon, I did not need propane. The pre-bought gallons were $1.799 a gallon. I called Mike Clary to address the issue and he hung up the phone on me. Mike then sent a letter he was pulling my tank. This was the last straw with me, I filed a complaint the NYS Attorney Generals office . I informed Glider Oil in writing to pull my tank I was done. Glider Oil wanted me to wait six weeks for a refund. The NYS Attorney General assited me with the entire matter and a speedy refund. Glider Oil is not an honest company and has NO customer service skills. This company also has complaints filed by others on them through the Better Business Bureau .

I found the folks at Glider Oil to be very helpful setting up a budget plan for my first winter in a new house. I also supplement my heating with a wood stove, so I was unsure how much fuel I would need. Throughout the season, they were great about refiguring my budget payment and getting fuel delivered quickly. The price was fair, and I am looking forward to continuing business with them in the future. They have online payment options that I used all winter, instead of mailing checks. That was really helpful to me. The only thing I would like better is if they had an online account access so I could review my payments and balance due without having to call them, but the ladies on the phone were so nice, I didn't really mind calling anyway!

They have made arrangements that I can pay twice a month when I get my disability check because I could not afford it any other way. They go above and beyond normal service for me. He comes to my house three times a year and they always give me the same driver because of the very difficult delivery that is necessary for my home. I have been doing this for the past 25 years with this company and I will continue to use this service in the future for my furnace oil.
