FOX HOLLOW MOVERS

Movers arrived with 5th wheel pulled behind pick up truck to move a 2 bedroom house with full basement. After 10 hours they pulled away and I found belongings left in my yard that they hadn't packed. Without my prior knowledge my furniture was put in storage until a truck was coming to Texas. Half of my good arrived 2-1/2 weeks later and the other half a month later. At least 50% of my items were damaged or destroyed by Fox Hollow. This is documented by truck drivers who brought furniture from upstate NY because notations have been made about legs being broken off antique vanity and boxes being crushed. I filed a claim with Allied Van Lines so Fox Hollow came back saying I owed them an additional $2,800 for weight difference and if I paid them they would give me $600+ for my damages. This was my 3rd long distance move and in the 2 moves prior to this not one item had been damaged. The problem was that my things were put in storage rather than being loaded on a semi and taken to the new location. My furniture and goods were crushed and destroyed by being crammed into a 5th wheel, moved into storage and then reloaded on a semi and transported to Texas. Even though I paid for mattress boxes my matresses arrived dirty and ripped and not in boxes. I am very sad that my antiques were damages and in some cases destroyed. I encourage anyone moving from upstate NY to check to see if their items will be moved directly or put in storage. I also encourage you not to use Fox Hollow Movers.

The move experience was wonderful. They showed up exactly on time, were organized and thorough. The loading and unloading process was seamless.
