I gave them a list of repairs, to be followed up with an overall electrical inspection. Everything was done promptly and well. They also provided free quotations on other construction work around the house and did a visual inspection, giving me advice.

They were very prompt in fixing my problem as they new timing was important. They plan to come back to finish a few things.

Their representative came out the day after initial contact and provided me with a verbal estimate on the work to be performed (I did not require a written estimate due to the nature of the work). The next morning, two workers arrived at the house and, after helping me to locate a missing piece of flashing, proceeded with the work requested. In addition to the lights and flashing, they also took care of a few loose pieces of siding on the back of the house. I found both of them to be professional and personable, and would not hesitate to call on them again in the future.

They were absolutely excellent - prompt , efficient, friendly and very knowledgeable. We will be using them again.

After getting several estimates from the most local contractors I ended up going with Comfort Windows. Their price was four thousand dollars less than Beach construction.

Excellent. Very professional, knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, and competent. I first met them at Lowe's when they spent a great deal of time helping me figure out a plumbing issue I was having at home. They weren't trying to promote their sevices, just helping me, a stranger to them, find the plumbing supplies I needed. At first I thought they were Lowe's employees. When I realized they weren't, I took their card and months later referred them to a friend and asked them to fix some plumbing issues at my house. My friend was very pleased with their prices, professionalism, courteousness,competence and the timelessness of their response and repairs. They are a great company. I plan to continue to use them for plumbing, electrical, and home repair. They were great!

Horrible... First off, he was several hours early for the appointment, just showed up, without calling. Good thing I was home. I originally left a message for Richard to call me back, he did, and set up a time for an estimate. He showed up, hours early, without notifying me. Once he was here it took several attempts to get him to understand the problem with my roof. This must have gone on for 20+ minutes. Once he supposedly understood it, he was still trying to sell me on a product that frankly I did not need, and even he wasn't sure if it'd work to solve the problem. He left with a promise to email me an estimate by the following Wednesday. It is almost an additional week beyond that now, and no estimate. I have also called and left messages, but my calls are not being returned. I don't understand it, he comes out, does an estimate, then acts completely unprofessional in this manner?? If you don't understand how to fix the problem, just say so, don't waste everyone's time. It'd also be nice to have the courtesy to return a phone call.

In one word, EXCELLENT. We contacted Beach Construction with a difficult problem to fix. Due to poor roof drainage one corner of our house from the roofline down to the ground had become rotten. The extent of the damage was not possible to precisely determine due to the siding hiding the damage. They gave us an estimate, a very reasonable one, charged and completed the job for less than the estimate. After the repair we decided to have the house resided (the fix resulted in almost and frac14; of the house being bare) and to fix the roofline to avoid a repeat of the previous problem. Beach Construction performed both of these jobs too. The siding came out GREAT they did a very professional job; the changing of the roofline came out perfect too. Our chimney, once the siding job started, was discovered to be falling apart, Beach Construction installed a new chimney for us and did some creative installation work doing so. We asked them for some creative work for a window topper which they did for a very small fee which came out looking exactly as the wife desired. Something we both (the wife and I) appreciated was that they were on time, used little to no profanity, were personable, friendly, and had our best interest at heart. I highly recommend the Beach Construction Company as a multi-purpose contractor. (We have them on speed dial!)

They were prompt and did a good job. The initial estimate, they left out a few things, but later re-quoted me and everything went on fine. I liked their services and will use the same in future.

initial visit went well: Richard came across as confident, attentive, knowledgable and capable follow up visits: They submitted a quote, then realized there was an error, which was promptly fixed (should have been fixed before submitting) The sample of materials (window) was brought to us was very dirty. They claimed they could not quote the product we wanted (Anderson windows and prestained cedar siding) Although Richard was appropriate and professional, his assistant (father) often initiated inappropriate and unrelated to the task conversation. Our confidence in their ability to perform our large project deteriorated. We never did get a quote per our specs. or had any further dialoge to put closure to our request. I hope this will be helpful in Beach Construction to improve.

Our results from them are very satisfactory. They were very reasonable; they weren’t cheap but we didn’t expect that. We have plans for them to replace our roof next spring.

The company was responsive, coming to view the job within a couple days. The job was done quickly and professionally. We are completely satisfied with the results.

We bought an older home in Fulton and moved in last summer (June 2006). Since then, we've used 7 different contractors and repairmen for various projects. Four were good, one was average, one was awful, and one; Rich James has not only done the best work but also charges much less than the rest. The biggest project was the ductwork; the other quote we got was more than twice as much.
