They did a superb job.

I had a pleasant experience working with these guys. They did work in my bathroom for tile and it had come out beautifully. And within budget. I met with someone named John I believe and his workmanship and professionalism seemed decent.

The work as scheduled was a nightmare, the workers never showed up when scheduled. Workers were showing up after 5 pm after working on other jobs. After several calls into Pat the owner he stopped returning my calls and had others in his company call me. We had to delay the move in to the house. We would not have even minded if the work went smoothly and the finishes were good. They did not perform any proper protection when sanding, dust went into the HVAC system, we later had to hire a company to vacuum out all of the ducts and sanitize them. The smoke detectors all had to be replaced by an electrician we later had to hire, this was due to the fact that none of the rooms being worked on were isolated with plastic and none of the ceiling smoke detectors were covered with plastic. Westwood flooring had no vacuum dust recovery system used with there wood flooring sanders. One evening after his non English speaking crew finished on another job and showed up at our home they arrived with gas powered leaf blowers. This was after a few days of calling Pat with no return calls leaving him messages about all of the dust in my vents on my walls, sticking to new paint ect.. I asked my bi-lingual painter to find out what the gas powered leaf blowers were for; this was Westwood Floorings way of cleaning up the dust in our newly renovated house. The staining and finishes around all edges was poor and had to be redone a few times. After refusing to pay the balance he sent his brother over [still without returning our calls]. We also sent several letters. I said to his brother How could Westwood flooring treat us this way after all of the referrals we gave him [ I am also a contractor], his brother was apologetic and said we are very busy and took advantage of the fact that you were not living in the house. The workers also spilled a half of 5 gallon can of polyurethane on our asphalt driveway. I had to have my painter power wash the area in the driveway. What a nightmare!

I SAID THEY DID A GREAT JOB. THEY FOUND SOME BOARDS THAT NEEDED TO BE REPLACED. THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME MUCH FOR THAT. THEY SAID THEY WOULD COME BACK IF ANYTHING WAS WRONG.

I RECOMMENDED THEM TO A FRIEND WHO DOES THE SAME THING AND WOULD RECOMMEND THEM AGAIN. THEY CAME TO MY HOUSE RATHER THAN ME HAVING TO GO TO THE SHOWROOM. I TOLD HIM WHAT AREA I WANTED TO DO. HE BROUGHT THE WOOD SAMPLE WITH HIM AND DISCUSSED AND ADVISED HOW IT SHOULD BE DONE, WHAT SHOULD BE DONE, AND WHAT SHOULDN'T BE DONE.

I FEEL THE COMPANY DID A GOOD JOB. THE WORK FLOW WENT SMOOTHLY. I DID HAVE A PROBLEM WITH ONE FLOOR BUT THEY BACK UP THEIR WORK VERY WELL. THEY CAME OUT AND FIXED IT FOR FREE. THE RESULTS ARE BEAUTIFUL.

OVERALL, IT WAS FINE. I WAS A LITTLE BIT DISAPPOINTED THE PERSON THAT ACTUALLY SOLD ME THE REFINISHING WASN'T THE ONE THAT PUT THE REFINISHING IN. THE PEOPLE THAT DID THE WORK DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK TO US. THEY WERE CONTRACTED OUT I THINK. I DON'T KNOW FOR SURE, THOUGH.
