Clearly Jim and his crew take great pride in their work, and are so knowledgeable about it. Looking forward to saving up for more restoration projects in the future. And I will surely be calling Jim! + -1 moreJim is a true craftsman and takes great pride in his work and it shows. We started with the hope chest. It was in great shape, however, we wanted the finish to blend with our bedroom furniture. The chest came out beautiful and is a show piece in our bedroom. His price was reasonable so we decided we would entrust Jim with our secretary that was in need of repair and refinishing. It came out beautiful. He repaired the back, replaced detail that was missing, helped me choose period appropriate hardware and refinished the secretary to its former glory. We will be proud to pass this family heirloom on to our children.
Description of Work: My husband inherited his grandfather's very neglected secretary dating to the 1800s and a hope chest from the 1920's from is grandmother. Jim refinished the hope chest and repaired and refinished the secretary. His work was exactly what he promised.

+ -1 moreI THINK THE WORK WAS EXCELLENT. THE OWNER IS VERY PLEASANT AND HE PICKED UP THE CHAIRS AND RETURNED THEM TO MY HOME. THE CHAIRS WERE LIKE NEW. I WAS VERY HAPPY WITH EVERYTHING.
Description of Work: I HAD TWO CANE CHAIRS RE-CANED. ONE SEAT WAS RIPPED, AND THE OTHER, THE CORD HOLDING THE CANE TO THE BACK OF THE CHAIR HAD BROKE.
