CASTLE PLUMBING & HEATING

Castle replied with a call next day and came a day later to review the problem. Because of need for special materials-to which he didn't have ready access--wasn't sure could do the work. By happy coincidence (after I told story of initial co.'s failings) he knew that plumber and immediately called and reached his cellphone. The conversation resulted in the 1st. co scheduling and completing the work a week later-just in time for the planned pool start up date. This wouldn't have happened without Castle's intervention. I've since recommended Castle to a neighbor who reports that they responded promptly to a semi-emergency and completed needed work in good order. P.S. Castle declined my offer to pay a 'consultation' fee (he was here for a good hour) This is a good company!

Two persons came out and it took them one day. They did the job that they were hired to do professionally and effectively.

They promptly returned our call, sent someone to access and make the fix. After the fix, they replaced the section of pipe with more modern materials so clean-out in the future would be a breeze.

It didn't go. The first and last time I "used" Castle in 2007, the experience was fine - they did all the right things, which is why I called them again when I needed a plumber last week. I called late afternoon on a Friday and spoke to a woman who took my information and listened to the problem. She said she would call back Monday morning to schedule someone. She didn't call. I called Tuesday afternnoon and left a voice message which was returned in a couple of hours. I told the gentleman my story (which p***** me off that I had to repeat myself) and he said someone would call me back to schedule an appointment. No one did, so I went to Angie's List and found a company who came the VERY NEXT DAY! (I will file my report for Frank Marinelli Plumbing after I get the bill). I feel like billing Castle for the 6 extra days of water waste from a leaky toilet that I will have to pay to the Village.

Courtous, prompt. He came the next day. I would use him again.

Called and made a service appointment after several tries. Had to change the appointment, and called to advise company. Tried to reschedule but never got another appointment though I called five more times.

Compared to one of their competitors who tells me they only do jobs according to the book , I was very satisfied with the price and with the professionalism of this contractor. They were right with us from the waiting period we had to have with the water company, all the way to doing the job right the first time. I will only use this plumber moving forth and highly recommend them for both their excellent manner and knowledge. This contractor is a true treasure if ever there was one, because it is so hard to find a trustworthy and professional plumber these days.
