Carpet Giant of Ossining

The salesmen were very knowledgeable and explained to us that we wanted carpets without loops, and the showed us various alternatives, and recommended one of the least expensive alternatives that was on sale and in stock. A worker came out and measured the next business day, and the carpet was beautifully installed a few days later. We couldn't be more pleased.

They were excellent and professional from scheduling measurements through installation. The project was on time and on budget. I would definitely use them again.

The installers were the best I have ever had to work in my home. They were on time, professional and left everything in perfect order before leaving. I am extremely impressed and will recommend Carpet Giant to all family and friends for any flooring work that they need done.. This was a great experience and more than I expected. You cannot get service like this from the large store chains and pricing was comparable!

Very well. The job was done professionally and efficiently. The workers were well-mannered unlike other companies I've used in the past and were very amenable when I asked them to do something just the way I wanted it. well, from the first we stepped into their showroom, it went superb. there sales staff were helpful and informative. We explained our situation, having been to a few other places. They sat us down and brought out products that were cheaper that what we had been looking at. They were honest and gave us products that would give us a bigger bang for our buck. they did not try to steer us towards higher end products, since we have small children and animals. They came out and measured, they were slightly higher than the other estimates. When we questioned it, the estimator explained that less seems were better and that it would not be that much more. We were happy with his explanation and had the ultimate say in how much square feet were purchased. In the end we went with their estimate. The installation was set up at our convenience. Since, my wife works, they were able to accommodate an afternoon that was suitable for her. Their installers were on time and very polite. Since we were unable to get everything moved out in time, ie: the beds. We were told not to worry that they would take care of it. They also praised us for moving all of the other furniture and clutter. The installation was done in a timely and professional manner. They in fact left the area cleaner than they had received it. What a pleasure to deal with people that are not just going through the motions. This experience with Carpet Giant and their staff was not only economical but enjoyable as well. Installation was a hassle - It took the team 4 visits to finally get my carpet installed right. They left numerous staples and nails that I cut my foot on and my young babies could find. At least the owner was very responsive anytime I called him with an issue.

After my previous contractor screwed up for the 4th time and was obviously incapable of better work, I called Carpet Giant. Rob Jr. came to the house and met with my wife who showed him the problems. Rob understood what could be done and gave us a couple of options (I spoke to him on the phone also). We gave the go-ahead for the work and he went back to his shop to get the necessary materials. The work was done quickly and with a level of care that I don't see very often anymore. I only wish I had hired Carpet Giant from the start. I would recommend them to anyone.

They did a good business practice by correcting their error.

It was a bit aggravating. When we ordered the rugs in Mid August, we were told that we would recieve them in 2-3 weeks. It took over 2 months!! The first time I called for a status update I was told there was a delay in manufacture. Just 2 more weeks. I had to call for updates, they never did, and each time I called for a status update, I was told just a few more days...well the only reason I didn't cancel the order was my 30% deposit.

It went well. We thought we wanted a wood floor in the kitchen but were nervous that this was actually practical. They explained and showed samples of the difference between several types of wood flooring. They let us keep many samples for several days to help us decide which to use. They measured and installed. We're very happy with the floor. Once, years ago, they actually installed the wrong carpet in the living room. The owner came, saw it, agreed, and pulled it up and replaced it, no excuses made, no arguments. That owner is now retiring or retired but the fellows who are taking it over seem very good.

Went to their store (slightly difficult to locate), picked out 3 carpet samples and the company rep gave us a ballpark figure in terms of cost. He allowed us to take three samples home and decide the color that would work best with our walls/room. We also scheduled a home visit for the next day for an estimate. Company representative came by (punctually) and gave us a written itemized estimate for carpet and pad removal and pad + carpet installation for the type of carpet we had chosen. Carpet Installers (also punctual) did a good job removing and laying down new carpet. Accidentally broke cable outlet during installation. I called the owner when I noted this - he sent the installation guys back and they repaired it (with parts from Radio Shack). Owner (Mr. Rossi) did mention that if they were not able to repair it he would pay for repairs.

IT WAS GOOD. THEY CAME WHEN THEY SAID THEY WOULD. THE CARPET WAS INSTALLED IN A ONE DAY PERIOD. THEY PROVIDED THE SERVICE THAT I EXPECTED. THERE WERE TWO PEOPLE HERE THE ENTIRE DAY, AND THEY WORKED NON STOP.

My overall experience was great as usual. This isn't the first time I have used this company and I will continue to use them in the future. The salesman was honest and helpful. The owner was great and gave us a good price.

IT'S GOOD. WE'VE KNOWN THEM FOR 20 SOME ODD YEARS. WE'VE USED THEM FOREVER. EVERYTHING WAS GOOD. EVERYTHING WAS FINE. ALL OF IT WAS GOOD. EVERYTHING FROM EVERYONE IS GOOD. WE WOULDN'T USE THEM AGAIN IF IT WASN'T.
