Salesperson who came to our house was very knowledgable and informative. We had several other companies give us estimates, none of which took the time to sit down with us, go through options, explain pros and cons of various products, etc. While neither the most expensive nor least expensive estimate we were given, we felt the quoted price was a fair amount. Once ordered, they kept us informed of target date for installation and actually called us with a definite date that was sooner than we had expected. On the installation date they were there when they said they would be, took far less time than we'd expected (about 3-1/2 total to take out old windows and install new ones). They cleaned everything up and were professional and friendly. Overall a very positive experience and I would have no hesitation in using them again and in recommending them to anyone.

They put all new windows in the whole house. They left a card if I had any questions and I also got a follow up call from a supervisor. I was very pleased with that. They took me around the house and showed me how to operate the new windows too.

On time, efficient, with good cleanup.

Could not have been better. When they left all of the trash went with them you could not tell they had been there.The only thing to question is the grid pattern they place in the glass. It in attractive but over priced.

THEY WERE GREAT. THEY ARRIVED ON TIME AND WERE FINISHED IN 4 1/2 HOURS. THEY CLEANED UP AND SHOWED ME HOW TO WORK THE WINDOWS TO CLEAN THEM. I WISH I HAD KNOWN ABOUT THEM BEFORE I REPLACED MY OTHER WINDOWS. I HAVE 3 LEFT TO DO AND I WILL CALL THEM AGAIN TO SEE IF THEY STILL HAVE ANY INCENTIVES.

Came right on time, laid tarps on rugs, in 8 hrs replaced 19 windows, no mess, great clean up, very kind.

The crew of three were on time and very friendly Kurtis throughout the installation they had the entire job done in about 5 1/2 hours and left my house garbage free when they left.

The crew arrived at 8. A half hour earlier than expected. They finished he job by 1:30 and cleaned up thoroughly. They were very courteous and efficient.

Workmen were on time, addressed all my concerns. Moved furniture and covered the furniture and floor. Cleaned up after the installation and did a great job.

They showed up on time, and replaced 7 windows by noon. Good job!

Had to wait 4 months on waiting list to get windows, installed after all paperwork and finance was approved.

Arrived on time. Completed all installations in 1 day. Excellent workmanship. Included all trim. Went beyond what was expected. 1938 home. installation excellent.

Workers arrived on time per appointment. Friendly but worked quietly and efficiently. Finished in good time.

I loved the windows. The guys did a great job installing them. The sales guy named Goris did a great job and a fantastic job in explaining the windows, demoing the windows. The one thing that I did not like about them was the clean up job as it was not great which apparently is very uncommon for them as I had a referral from one of my friend saying that they did a great job in clean up. I found nails and sharp cut of vinyls throughout the house and there were also several large pieces of glass outside the house. So the clean up job was pretty awful. I spoke to the company and they send somebody to clean up. They were also very apologetic.

The salesman was polite and informative. The installers were very efficient and cleaned up all the materials.

We had asked several window companies for estimates to replace an awning window and bay window. We did not want the expense of tearing out the whole bay window and replacing with new, so we had asked to have just the windows replaced. Several companies would not do that and told us the best way to go was by replacing the whole entire window. The salesman from Modern Window came out and said that he would have no problem filling our request. He said that he wanted to give us the biggest bang for our buck. He explained all of the window options and was very helpful. It was only after we had agreed to contract with Modern Window, that we found out that the salesman was the company president! The windows were delivered on time and as promised. Our only glitch in this process was finding that three of the windows had defects in the glass. I called Modern Window and within days they came out and looked at the problem. When they realized that they couldn't repair the problem, they ordered new windows, at no expense to us. The new order was placed and with two weeks, we had our new windows. If I had any more windows to replace, I would certainly recommend Modern Windows.

We contacted Modern for an estimate based on their reviews here. They were quick to respond but immediately sent up red flags when they refused to even do an estimate without both of us at home. At first I thought it was a gender thing (I am female, and was the one scheduling the estimates) but it became clear later that this was just policy. It's a policy that I find kind of annoying, but that's beside the point. Modern was the first of three estimates that we had scheduled. They followed up quickly, and very persistently. I definitely felt pressured to make a decision. Even before we had all 3 estimates completed, they were calling wanting to send a manager out to talk to us again and offer us some special deal that they weren't willing to give us the details of over the phone. At that point we were confident in their competence and in the quality of the product, but a bit put off by the pressure tactics and their price was a higher than one of the other estimates (from a general contractor). We ultimately agreed to have the manager come back out - which required rearranging work schedules because we were told in so many words that they needed both of us there because they would want us to say yes or no to the offer that day. When the manager came to the house, he basically duplicated the labor of the original estimate and told us that the "special deal" that they wanted to offer us that was expiring within the next 48 hours. (They have since offered friends of ours what sounds like the identical deal.) It was clear that he pretty much expected us to make the decision to spend $14000 with him sitting at our dining table. We discussed various things and the price started coming down when we agreed to pay a larger deposit in cash. The manager went to his car to call someone at the office and when he came back the final offer was low enough that we agreed to sign that day. It took about 2 weeks for the windows to arrive. Modern operates on very short time-margins - they seem to schedule at most a week ahead. We had to get some masonry work done on the house before the windows could go in (one concrete sill was cracked and not level)... ultimately they came out and installed all but the windows that went above that still, leaving the remaining windows in our basement until they could be put in. Installation was quick and efficient, the work crew were pleasant, and cleanup was fine. After the initial install, I discovered a couple of problems but they were fixed when they crew came back to do the second phase of the installation.

I did not like their procedure. One guy came out finally; he looked around and measured my windows. He gave me the big push about how they were made and all that stuff as they were custom made. Then he said he would have to get back to me with an estimate. He would have to make another appointment. I looked at him and asked him why he could not tell me now. I went to him with a few estimates and I could have made my decision. He said that this was their procedure and he said someone would call me in a couple of days to set up another appointment. I just said ok, not quite intending because I did not like the fact that he could not do it right then. Anyways, I crossed them off my list because I was not about to waste my time again. Therefore, I did have a couple of other contractors come out. In terms of punctuality, the guy did get here when he said he was going to. In terms of professionalism, the guy was professional. I would definitely not use their services again in the future. When I want to get something done I want to know right away, what the story is.

We met Norm Mook to discuss this project and were impressed with his knowledge. Ordered the windows - they were just expertly installed by two great craftsmen Justin & Dave. We were amazed at how quickly the job was finished. We care the new windows !! Cared the company & its employees !! Fabulous !!! Great Job Modern Windows !!!

It turned out great. They were fast and did a very good job. They cleaned up. We were very satisfied with the job.

The salesman was very friendly and professional. I loved the demonstration on the sample window. The windows were ordered and installed in approximately 2 weeks. The installers were very professional and very quick with minimal disruption to my day.
