Greg and his partner did an excellent job of replacing our old furnace with a new model. They thoroughly cleaned up and were both timely and efficient.

The Missus had eight (8), yes eight Heating/Air Conditiong companies come to our home. The Armour rep blew us away with his professionalism and knowledge. His estimate was extremely competitive as well and we wasted no time in hiring Armor! The installation crew was on time, professional, and in no time our furnace was installed. We had an issue with one room colder than the rest of the house. The installers analyzed the situation and came up with a solution than incurred no cost. They are coming back in the spring to install the air conditioner. Can't say how pleased we are with the experience that is sometimes stressful and Armor caused ZERO stress. Can't recommend them highly enough!!!?

They came in assessed the situation and it ended up being a broken thermostat. They were fast and honest, they also gave us some advice regarding an AC issue we had and we will most likely call them come summer.

They are excellent. The work took over two year period. It took about three days each. Their were three workers for the furnace, and two workers for the AC. The past experience with furnace workers, they are top notch. The way they did the duct work and tubing,very good work, clean work.

It was fast. They were very professional and kept to their word. They said it was going to be done within a day and it was done. They conferred with us, they had some questions about placement. They listened to our concerns and followed up on our requests.

I have been using Armor Heating for years at 2 different homes in Orchard Park for annual check up of my AC/Furnace unit. The technicians were always very professional, thoroughly cleaned the heavy metal filters of my unit, checked everything, and it always cost around $80-85. This year, I called to make an appointment, confirming around the same price. The technician arrived on the wrong day, a day prior the actual appointment while I was at work; thankfully someone was home. I was told he cleaned the filter, added refrigerant, and changed the humidifier filter, but the bill was $217!!! Charging his time $115 plus items plus tax. I did not expect suck a high rate for a check up. When I called, I was told that they charge $95 per half hour, completely different from what I was told when making the appointment and from the prior years where the guy would stay almost an hour for $85. I will not use them again.

These guys were great! They came out same day and were super flexible about changing the time. They were on time, professional and were in and out in no time and at a decent price. I've already started recommending them to family and friends.

I needed a installer for a new gas insert i already had obtained. Armor helped me out. They were priced fairly and their installers were knowledgeable and professional. was able to schedule the install much faster than i anticipated, a bonus! They showed up exactly on-time and were done in about 2-1/2 hours start to finish, even with a few unexpected modifications they had to do to my 60 year old ranch. I'd use them again anytime..

The workers arrived Monday morning at 8:30am and by 3pm the furnace was installed and the workers gone. They were friendly and very efficient. They laid down cloths so as not to drag dirt into the house. They explained everything to me so I totally understood how everything worked. I would highly recommend Armor to anyone in need of help with heating issues.

When we bought this house 15 yrs. ago, we inherited Armor Heating from the previous owner, who had Armor service his furnace. We too were very pleased with their service. But when it came time for a new furnace, and being new to the area, we did our due diligence researching other companies. We chose Armor and have never regretted it! So when it came time for installing Central Air in this old house, we didn't have to think twice. Tom Kam, from Armor, came and reviewed the size of our house, explained all their products that were appropriate for our home and we sealed the deal. A few days later a crew of installers came and completed the job. Wow!! I can't say enough good about that team. Respectful of us and our home, very professional and really knew their job. Their attitude was positive and met every step with pride of workmanship. They were patient in explaining the whole new system to me, and they cleaned up too. You would never have known they were here except for my very comfortable and cool home. This is a great company who hire and train wonderful people. Note: I did not get Armor heating from Angie's list for the reason stated above. Looked after the fact, because I thought they might be on it, and they were. Very glad to see it, they deserve the gold star of excellence. 🌟

Installed new rinnai unit, ran larger gas line from meter and a water pressure reducer. Answered my questions and concerns regarding tankless units prior to Install. Crew was very accommodating and good to work with. I know these are a little more expensive than the tank heaters, but I'm very happy with the result. Received a quote from another plumber to replace my old unit with a new tank, and was quoted more than the rinnai install. Nuts? I think so, but the rinnai was a competitive quote from what I know of these projects and armor was recommended to me from a friend. Glad I took his advice. Btw, I tested the heater by filling a large hot-tub to see if the rinnai could get the water hot enough. (The old tank unit could never fill the tub) It did it - I couldn't use the tub until I cooled it off with cold water - and quite a bit at that. No capacity issues there.

I called in the late afternoon with an emergency condition due to extreme furnace pump noise with parts flying out of the pump. Even though I had not been a customer here before, and they were obviously very busy, the owner of the company who answered the phone showed much concern for my problem, seemed to know immediately, just from my brief description, what was likely to be the problem, and said that he would send someone right over. I liked this person right away, very professional and knowledgeable.....this guy knows his business and cares about his customers...even new one's !! Frank and Mark arrived very soon after my call and I also liked them both immediately. They were very friendly and professional, within seconds they knew what was wrong and filled me in on exactly what needed to be done. This pump motor was in a fairly tight space and not so easy to get at, yet they had it off, took it apart and installed the new parts so quickly ..............and now it is as quiet as can be. With sub freezing temperature forecast for tonight, and with in the floor hot water heating that could have frozen, they saved the day for us. I had called two other places from the list just beforehand, the 1st couldn't send anyone until late evening when they would have had him stop "to look at it" on his way home, the 2nd said they were not taking on any new customers...... even though they were located in my own town. My only regret is that I didn't think, until too late, to give these guys a tip so they could go out and have a dinner on me. Believe me guys......... I would have if my head wasn't spinning so much from so many serious things that have been going wrong lately. Armor Service and Supply Co. was a Godsend, I recommend them to all and will be passing their name on to my friends and relatives throughout the area !! it is so hard to find anyone like this anymore !!....... our deepest thanks to Armor Service and Supply Company ..........................and to Angies List for helping us to find them!!

I got 4 quotes and while their quote was not the least expensive, I felt confident that they would do a good job. The service men were professional and knowledgeable. We are pleased with armor.

We have used Abbott since they installed a new furnace in the 80's. We have a service contract which is costly, with the implied threat that if we don't have the service, we might have problem getting service in an emergency or the charges would be more than the contract. We have needed emergency services rarely (about once every 5-6 years). But they have been prompt, always courteous and have quickly addressed the problem.

The Provider arrived pretty much on time and did the job he was paid to do. Fine but..... It was his attitude that I objected to. He was very aggressive and I felt very intimidated. He actually ordered us around! For this reason I would not rehire.

Needed them to come very an 'emergency' visit as we had no heat. Service techs were prompt as always and explained what was wrong and quoted price before beginning work. Have used Armor multiple times for furnace repair needs and have they have been very good to work with...

They came very promptly and checked the furnace,replaced the filter, and changed out the dehumidifier screen. Fast and excellent service.

We purchased our house in June and within a few days had some repair/service men out to check out/fix mechanical issues. We originally asked Armor to come out and seal off a gas line for us. Simple job. But while they were in the basement, they offered to inspect our furnaces - a 1970s model "blue Bryant" and a slightly newer furnace that was part of an addition to the house in the 1980s. They were both on their last legs - something we knew from our home inspection. The tech was able to perform a few minor tweaks to help us prepare for winter and as we talked, he mentioned that when we do replace them, we could probably go down to a single furnace for the entire house. Just call and they'd be happy to give us a free estimate. We had a good experience with that first visit, so a few weeks later, when we decided that we didn't want to take a chance with the old furnaces getting through the winter, we called Armor back to get an estimate for a replacement(s). We met with Tom, who walked through the house and came up with a heating solution for us and gave us an estimate on the spot that included removal of the two furnaces, installation of a new furnace and air conditioning unit, an attached humidifier and thermostat, as well as some new ductwork. We decided to go with them and they worked their tails off to get everything done in the time they promised (2 days, I believe), even going so far as to bring in extra workers during the final stages, just to make sure it was done on time. Even found a good replacement for a makeshift cold air return cover on our rock wall in the living room. The air conditioning worked very well throughout the remainder of the summer, but when the colder weather hit, we did have some issues with lingering coldness n the living room, the part of the addition farthest from the furnace. When we noticed there wasn't much forced air coming through those vents (December), we called them back and asked them to come out and take a look. On their return visit they determined that the we weren't getting much heat there at all, so they increased the firing power and added dampers to force more air to the back of the house, creating more even heating. The guys were out at the house for more than 5 hours making the repairs and getting it just right. And now, we can sit comfortably in that room. We're very pleased with Armor - the quality seems great so far but their service is excellent. They're very nice to deal with, friendly and flexible and it's obvious they take great care and pride in what they do and stand behind their work. I would recommend them unreservedly. I should also note that we were able to take advantage of financing and rebates (presented to us at the time of the estimate) to help pay for the furnace.
