This job went perfectly from estimate through clean-up. I give Scanlan my highest recommendation with no reservations. The owner answered the phone, gave the estimate, and was on the job site both days, both supervising and doing some of the work. He came out and gave estimate just a couple days after I called and asked for it. Because I had a relatively short job (a day and a quarter), they called and offered to fit me in earlier than originally scheduled, which was nice. They took great care of my property, including landscaping that I don't even care about. They pay lots of attention to detail, like color matching, not only the brick but also the mortar. They saw that the flashing where the roof meets the chimney needed repair and so took care of it as part of the job at no extra cost. They left the work site better than they found it -- even cleaned nearby skylight and gutters. After talking with the owner and seeing the quality of their work, I can tell they have considerable experience and know their business. If you need masonry work, call them!
