I just want to let everyone know that this is a truly wonderful company to work with!! They are professional, prompt, courteous, neat and everything that you want when hiring someone to work in your home. Chris and his crew make you feel like you are the only job they have and they take the time and care to look after exactly what needs done and make sure that it's done right. They did two rooms and a hallway - prepped, 2 coats on ceiling/walls, finished and cleaned up in ONE day!!! I've had experience with previous painters that have been in my home for over a week so this was a dream!!! I very highly recommend using this company and I will be using them again in the future!

Christopher and his team were superb. They were competent, patient, and extremely professional. The estimate was reasonable and held true, in spite of more hours needed due to difficult wallpaper removal in two rooms. Everything was done to perfection. I felt perfectly safe giving Chris a key to the house. This is a rare group with a rare work ethic. They went above and beyond the call of duty, leaving the house sparkling and work areas spotless. We purchased our home this summer and decided to have the interior and exterior painted. We decided to hire Chris from Perfection Painting and could not be more pleased with the results. Chris and his crew did an amazing job. They painted the entire house (about 3700 square feet) including all ceilings and walls, many of which are vaulted, as well as all of our closets. We found Chris and his crew to be very professional, friendly, hard-working, always on time and attentive to details. Chris kept us well informed throughout the labor-intensive project, letting us know what to expect and when. We simultaneously decided to have some major electrical work and some carpentry work done which ultimately added to the scope of our contract with Chris. He was very accommodating and willing to take on the additional work without hesitation. We found him to be very responsive and reliable. Chris stands behind the quality of his work and works hard to achieve customer satisfaction. We are very grateful and continue to admire their work. We highly recommend Perfection Painting and will not hesitate to hire them again in the future. They deliver a high-quality product and excellent workmanship.

The job went extremely well with Chris and the crew being helpful and friendly every step of the way. They patched many wall 'nail pops' very professionally and even painted a few doors at the last minute for no charge. GREAT COMPANY and very trustworthy... They had the house to themselves for 4 days and we never noticed any problems whatsoever. In conclusion this company is HONEST people making an honest living by working hard, doing their absolute best and never failing to smile through the whole job! We can say without hesitation that they turned house into a better smelling and better looking home than we thought possible with just a couple coats of paint! Dealing with Chris was probably the best experience I have ever had with a contractor. This was a huge job. He started on time and his crew were always professional and friendly. There was a deadline for completion and they finished the job on time. Be aware you may see a revolving cast of workers but every one of them was a pro at what they do (paint, walls, cabinets, etc). We threw a couple of curve balls during the job and Chris handled everything with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. Most important - I really felt I could trust all of his workers. Chris was on site for much of the job, and of course the final walk through. They did excellent work, and the price was a lot lower than other quotes I had received. Any time I texted, called or emailed Chris he was very responsive. The finished job is just beautiful - the house looks great! I don't believe in perfection but this is probably as close as you are going to get with a painting contractor.

Due to many circumstances and a constrained budget, I chose to do the re-painting of our family room myself. This included the ceiling, which I had never done before. I did all the prep work, and primed (2 coats) myself. It looked great. However, the final ceiling paint produced ungodly streaks/roll marks (2 coats). Desperate to complete the ceiling and move on to the walls, I found Perfection Painting (Chris Hannold) in the Rochester Angie's list July print edition. He happened to be doing work in the area and was able to stop by to look at the problem the next day. He offered advice on how I could fix the problem myself. (He thought my problem was likely due to the too short of a nap and/or choice of ceiling paint.) He also offered to paint it the following day for $100 + paint cost for a total of ~$125. Given time constraints this seemed to be the surest bet. His assistant, Ben applied one coat and came back a second day to "touch up". It looked great! I don't know if Perfection Painting prices are competitive, but quality and (given the short notice) service was top notch. I'm very grateful for their professionalism and ability to accommodate my needs. I would definitely consider them again for my next paint job. .

I originally joined this website to find a painter. WOW!!! I am so thrilled that I found this company. DO NOT HIRE ANYONE ELSE, because they are truly the best!!! Chris and Jared are extremely professional. They completed the work themselves, and worked efficiently to finish the job on time. I started with a smaller budget, but once I saw their skills, I wanted them to complete more rooms. I am not the type of person to spend this much for a contractor, but it was definitely worth the extra money (and peace of mind). Their prices are comparable to other painters, if not less. Finally, they are very organized, clean, punctual, respectful, and trustworthy. YOU DEFINITELY WILL BE PLEASED WITH THEIR WORK!!! and P.S. I really mean every word I wrote, because It is highly unusual for me to take the time to write a review.

Great to work with! Chris and his crew were punctual, very professional and courteous. They did a wonderful job of painting walls, ceilings, and trim in the living room, dining area , kitchen, and hallway. They also repaired areas of the ceiling and walls. I am very pleased with the results. I especially appreciate the fact that Chris could schedule the job in the time frame that I had requested. I highly recommend Perfection Painting and Wallpapering.

Provided an acceptable estimate that was comparable to an alternative estimate but the painter's availability was uncertain due to exterior work commitments. Fitting the work in (about three days) during bad weather for exterior work was uncertain. No concerns for the probable quality of work to be done. The estimate represented an excellent value. Was responsive in providing estimate. Quality expectation based on reputation and Angie's data.

This was the first time we that we have used Perfection Painting. The job estimate and work was done quickly, on schedule and with minimum impact on us.The quality of work and response to any of our questions was excellent.The painting crew was extremely courteous and professional. At the end of each day they picked up their working materials and left the house in good condition. We would definitely use Perfection Painting in the future..

Chris and his team were wonderful to work with. Chris showed up to do an estimate right at the time we had agreed on, and had his estimate back to us less than 24 hours later. He answered all the questions we had, both when he was on site to do the estimate, and by email on followup questions we had. I had specific types of paint in mind, especially for our trim, and he was familiar with and had worked with the product regularly. He was able to schedule us almost immediately and told us it would take 7-10 days - they were done in 8. His team showed up each day at the time they said they would (usually 8 or 8:30), got drop clothes laid down and got right to work. They worked around our schedules when necessary, and always let me know when they were leaving for lunch, and at the end of the day. All the men who worked on the job were clean, neat, polite and friendly. The work is superb. They fixed several bad cracks and flaws in a couple of the walls, sanded everything down so the new paint would go on smoothly, and then checked and double checked their work. They even took the hardware off the casement windows so they didn't get paint on that. I've seen other painters just mask the hardware off, but they went the one step further to make sure it was a great job. Chris made a couple suggestions about some of our painting (the dining room has a raised ceiling insert with crown moulding, and he suggested painting the upper ceiling the wall color to make the trim "pop".) We followed his suggestions and are thrilled with the way the house looks now. At the end of the job, we had a walkthrough to make sure we caught all "oopses" (of which there were almost none), and Chris actually caught more touchup spots than we did. I was impressed that he was so thorough and conscientious. The final bill was exactly what the estimate was. No surprises at the end (like happened with another painter we used several years ago). We still have more rooms to paint, and I will be going back to Perfection Painting, without a question.

I can't say enough nice things about Perfection Painting. Their estimate was almost $400 less than the other one I got and they were able to get started within a week of when I got the estimate. Chris and all of his crew were great and they did an amazing job. Very high quality work. Well worth the $1700.

Our kitchen was in the process of being renovated and we decided to do the painting ourselves. We planned on white ceilings and orange walls. Everything was primed and received 2 coats of paint. When we finished, the walls seemed fine but the ceiling was "ugly." We had used semi-gloss paint on the ceiling (never do again) which resulted in showing paint overlaps and any little imperfection in the ceiling. Satin paint was used on the walls. In the process of painting, my "tennis elbow" acted up. So, we decided to call in the experts and Perfection Painting came to our rescue. They were fantastic! When calling for an appointment, it was nice to talk to a person and not a machine. The owner (Chris Hannold) showed up on time for the appointment, diagnosed the ceiling problem immediately, described the solution and gave us a price. He also noticed my cutting-in between the white ceiling and orange walls was subpar, so I added putting another coat of paint on the walls to their work. All the painting was completed in less than a day and looks amazing. On the day of painting, they arrived on time and left a clean workspace. We were very impressed with their punctuality, courtesy, paint knowledge and skill. We would highly recommend Perfection Painting to anyone.

The company responded very quickly (within one hour) following my phone call requesting a quote. The job started right on schedule and the workmanship was very professional. The work team did a great job in minimizing dust and cleaning up at end of day. Everyone was very courteous, and responded very positively to any of our requests for touching up "misses." The job was completed ahead of the predicted schedule.

Chris is very professional and nice to deal with. from the first interaction on the phone, I knew that i would hire him. he was punctual and responsive. he is very detailed and committed to quality service. . To Anyone Looking For A Painter in the Rochester, NY area... Chris Hannold of Perfection Painting is the only painter you should use. I've used Chris and his wonderful crew for many of my Clients homes. I can't imagine using anyone else. He is reliable and responsive... sooooo detailed and continually thinking how to please. I never have to worry how the job will be handled. Every Client loves Chris and go on and on how much they appreciate the work he has done for them. I'm so grateful to have found Chris and everyone should know he is the best in the area... hire him...

Overall, we were very pleased with Chris and Perfection Painting. They were the 3rd quote we got for painting our home and they were definitely the cheapest. Prior quotes were ($22,000 - $12,000). Chris came in at his "Very reasonable price of $8,500 - which included the 3 car garage!! While hesitant at first, we went with him because I had seen the work he had done both at my neighbors exterior and interior. They arrived on the day they said they would. Their crew worked continuously on my job, even if they were starting other jobs at the same time, they would split up. They spent SO MUCH time prepping to paint, that it looked better even before they painted. I was very meticulous and Chris was very courteous, happily walked around with me MANY times to "make sure I was happy." I feel he prepped my old (9129) shutters as best he could, and sprayed them for an even finish. They were careful, all paint was either brushed or rolled - NO spraying - so,in the end there wasn't a drop of paint on my brick chimney. They were neat while on site and I heard no foul language. In the end, I called him back to say they had missed a few spots on the door. Even thought this was weeks later, he sent a painter over (extra can of paint in hand) and did it for me. I'd use them again and have already referred them to friends.

I called for an estimate. Chris arrived at the agreed time. He gave me an estimate for one room. I accepted it, and we agreed upon a date and time. He and one of his men showed up at the agreed time, put down tarps, did the painting and were finished with two coats in a couple of hours. They left the area spotless. Even though I had a coupon for $99 for painting of one room, and only had to pay for the paint, they did an excellent job!!!! I am sorry I did not have them do other rooms in the house but I had already committed with another company ( who did a poor job as compared to Perfection Painting. And the second company did not do ceilings! ) Very pleasant and professional. I highly recommend Perfection Painting!!

Their low price made me a bit nervous at first but the painting was top notch The crew was excellent,polite, and careful in their work. Top quality materials and a beautiful result. We now have them doing another house for a relative.

The crew arrived at the time specified by me. They put down the tarps and put up their ladders. The painting was done efficiently and neatly. When the room was finished, they cleaned up after themselves. No mess was left. The room looked wonderful.

The painters came in and were clean and respectful. They laid out tarps and went to work promptly and worked steady all day. They cleaned up after each room. The were very professional and I would recommend Perfection painting ! The job was fantastic and we are very pleased with the outcome.
