Perfection Painting and Wallpapering

Chris and his guys were amazing as always. I have used them a number of times now to help with my home and my family's homes. They are always so punctual and professional. From the times we scheduled for estimates to all the times we set for the job itself. I am always so pleased with having them do work for me and the job always looks so amazing when they are done. No spills or splatters anywhere and they always take very good care to not get any paint on the floors or the furniture. I trust them completely in my home while i am at work and i am not one who likes having contractors in my home alone and when i am home they respect that. Ive never heard one bad thing come out of Chris or his guy' mouth while i am there. What a pleasure it is to have them do the work on my home. I will always use Perfection painting and wallpaper for my home and would recommend them to all my friends and family. Thank you again Chris, my home looks amazing!!!

I think that this painting company is the best I have ever seen. They are punctual and very professional. It took 1 day to get the window trim painted and there are no runs in the paint or on the windows. They cleaned up as if they were never there except for the beautiful window trim.

Set an 8am appointment for an estimate to have our entire first floor painted. Called him at 8am, he said 8:30. At 9:15 he still had not arrived. They probably do great work, but I cant work with someone who can not be on time as I have a full calendar full of work appointments my self.

We could not be happier with the services provided by Chris and his employees. We recently moved into our house and my wife has always wanted a white kitchen. Our kitchen had dark, oak cainbets and bright, orange walls. A beautiful kitchen, but not in the colors that we had wanted. A previous painter we contacted advised us that painting cabinets is too difficult, too expensive and too time consuming. Well, Chris and his guys showed us that it can be done and that it can look flawless upon completion. You would never know the caibnets were painted. They look like white cabinets right from the manufacturer and the orange walls are now a light gray. My wife said that she finally has her dream kitchen! We also had Perfection Painting paint our mudroom, foyer and daughter's bedroom. Everything was done in one week, which was an amazing time frame that we were very happy with. Chris was very professional, detail oriented, and very respectful in our home. His employees were just the same, professional, very focused on the job at hand and respectful in our home. We cannot say enough nice things about this company. We will definitely recommend Perfection Painting to friends and family and contact them again for any of our future paint jobs. It's really all in the name--"Perfection Painting".

Chris and his crew were very professional. They showed up at the time they promised and work diligently all day. They cleaned up every night before they left and put everything in a corner very neatly. Two of the rooms needed a lot of patch work as I decided to take the wallpaper down myself. After the rooms were completed you could not even tell there was any damage to the walls!! We have more painting to do in the future and I would definitely use them again.

Best contractor I have worked with (over a 35 year period). Chris was prompt with quote, followed up quickly, and was thorough in everything he did. Very pleasant to work with and his crew were also highest quality. All areas were protected with drop cloths and the crew left the house neat and free of debris, material, or even evidence that they had been there all day. The job turned out perfectly.

::UPDATE:: 7/28/14 No more than just a few hours after I had posted my previous review, Chris called me and apologized for how his associate had finished the job and then within about 90 minutes came to my home to consult with me about the areas needing improvement. The note I had left about getting other quotes, which I didn't receive a response to, I discovered was a miscommunication between and Chris and the associate who had finished the job originally. Chris ended up giving me a quote when he stopped by to see the work that I had described in my previous review. I am impressed by the prompt action taken and his dedication to his customers is very clear. He came in and quickly perfected the paint job and now it looks amazing! It is true that even the industry's finest will make a mistake from time to time but what truly separates the best ones from the rest is how they handle those mistakes. Chris went above and beyond to ensure that I was happy with the quality of his work and I will definitely recommend him to others and continue to use his services in the future. 7/21/14 morning: Overall I am satisfied with Chris's work. He was very punctual (A+ on that!), professional and personable. He painted my dark red kitchen walls a light beige and painted my bathroom walls as well. It took 2 days to get the job done and he cleaned up after himself. Most of the edges were very clean and precise but there were a few areas that I was not thrilled with. In Chris's defense, I did not call him back to tell him I was unsatisfied with some areas since overall the job looked decent and I knew this was his busy season (and I myself was just busy as well). I also left a note asking for quotes on other parts of my home but did not hear back. Those are the only two things that kept me from giving an "A" review.

It went very well - he and his crew accessed the condo and did all the work necessary - it was a great job and they cleaned up after themselves. Chris, the owner, was our main contact and he was friendly and professional.

Chris and his crew helped transform our home! They painted the exterior of our home to include the trim and front door. They did an excellent job! It looks beautiful. He was very responsive to some changes we made in the midst of the job. Very happy with the results. They completed the project in a very timely manner. He assured us that if we discovered anything we were unhappy with they would return "to make it right" even months down the road. We would highly recommend!!

The experience was wonderful right from the start. The owner Chris came to our home to give an estimate in the morning and by that evening we recieved a very reasonable quote for the work. The contract was signed the next day.They arrived on time on the scheduled start date and were finished even before the estimated time of completion. Each day after the work was done we were very happy with the clean up and lack of intrusivenesss. The ease in which the process was acomplished was extremly professional. I highly recommend them.

Chris is very professional and very honestly, he certainly selected the right name to call his company. His work is right on and perfect. We had work done in our home approx. one year ago. Very pleased with the work, but found a few spots that some detail work was a bit sloppy. After reviewing these areas we were unsure what to do since a year had already past since work was done. Chris made it a point to return and correct the areas. He and one of his guys spent almost an entire day touching up these spots until we were completely satisfied! What a diference it made! WE are very pleased with Perfection Painting and the hard work they did for us! Highly recommend Perfection Painting!!

This company certainly tries to live up to its name and do a perfect job. They completed the whole job in 2 days. There were a couple of minor spots that needed touching up, and they wanted me to be 100% satisfied. They actually came back and spent quite a bit of time fixing all the little areas that I thought needed some extra attention. Also, they were very considerate as far as cleaning up after the job was completed. They used a shopvac to clean, and even used it while they sanded to help prevent the dust from flying around.

I was referred to Perfection Painting through a family friend. Chris Hannold arrived at our home for the appt on time and well prepared. The quote was received within a few days and we decided to hire Perfection Painting. We were a little nervous because we had a few new windows installed and didn't want them covered with paint. The crew arrived on time and scrapped the house and trim. They worked diligently and had the entire house scrapped, painted and cleaned up within a week. I also enjoy gardening and our home is surrounded by flower beds. I was concerned about the plants because of the ladders and drop cloths. Not a single plant was destroyed and we were able to enjoy our beautiful home and gardens for the rest of the summer. I highly recommend this company and will use their services in the future.

I am an existing customer and asked Chris if he would consider traveling to my mother's home in Union Springs which would require over an hour travel time. He agreed and sent his crew to her home. My mother is somewhat fragile and having workers in her home could cause her some stress or possible falling if things were left lying around. I'm very protective of her and would not consider having someone in her home I didn't know or trust. Chris' men were so good to my mother. Helping her get around as they were painting her dining room which she must walk through to get to the kitchen and bathroom. I was very pleased with their professionalism and courteous demeanor with my mother. The work they performed was beautiful. The cut lines were flawless and as my mother has told me time and again, there wasn't a drop of paint anywhere it wasn't suppose to be. I am so pleased with the work done by this company and would highly recommend them, especially if you're looking for work to be done in an aging parents home.

This company is the best, They came to my home and were very professional, There work is always done with the utmost perfectionism. As is there company name. They cut in the ceiling line like I have never seen anyone do. Not a bit of paint was on the ceiling. They were clean and very considerate with what I ask for. This is the 2nd time I have contracted this company because I had such a good experience the first time. They came in and were punctual and finished the job when they said it would be done. I would definitely have this company back.

Chris and his team did a truly fantastic job. They were professional, punctual, reliable, and delightful to work with from the very start. Chris was incredibly responsive and addressed all my notes about touch-ups as we went along. I was impressed with how fast his team worked, and they finished the job in exactly his estimated time. I was especially pleased with the quality of Perfection's wallpaper hanging. I had bought very fine quality wallpaper from England that is thinner than most papers. Chris's installer was incredibly detailed and did a truly masterful job of matching the complicated patterns and installing the paper smoothly and with correct alignment. I feel very happy with the quality of work performed for such a reasonable price, and I couldn't have had a better experience. Perfection Painting is highly regarded. I was pleased to use them for this job. They began work with the assistance of my real estate agent while we were away for several days at the beginning of the job. Specifications and colors were determined before we left using the painters recommendations for products to be used. We are delighted with the results. We recommend Perfection Painting and will use them again for additional work.

We were not satisfied because he repaired our ceiling. He had sent another man down here and sent him back and totally redid the whole thing all over again and that was wonderful. There was painting valve because they have to repair and he painted it. They were courteous, prompt, very meticulous, and returned and redid the job.

Christopher and his team did a great job! The estimate as reasonable and even though it took longer that expected (NOT Chris's fault, another contractor took longer), the price stayed the same. He and his crew were very professional and responsive to my needs (and I'm very fussy). When the work was completed the house was clean and neat. They had keys and the alarm code to the house and always left it properly secured. I would definitely hire Chris again and have already given his contact information to others.

Our house looks brand new, totally changed the décor and look and feel, the walls where the wallpaper existed came out looking great. All the interior doors and cabinets were spray painted and look great. Chris Hannold and his team were a pleasure to work with. I would strongly recommend them.

They painted trim and walls in stairwell with tall ceiling and ceiling trim in separate room. We were please with job. They were responsive to follow up and touch up requests. They cleaned up well after.

Quality: Conveyed professionalism from the moment he came in to give us the quote: Noticed small details (cracks, girders, likely lead paint, etc.) about the rooms and asked questions about details that none of the other painters who gave us quotes provided. The attention to detail and the small decisions that got made meant that we had the clearest idea of the job that was going to be done. Cost: Impressively, he gave us a quote that matched the lowest quote from any other company even though we knew he would do an excellent job. Professionalism: The painting took place while we were away (we provided Mr. Hannold with a key). We live in a condo and the Perfection team was very considerate: none of the neighbors complained about noise/parking obstruction. He also collaborates with a cleaning company (owned by his wife?) that made our floors look cleaner after the paint-job than it was when we left (no cost added to the initial estimate). Responsiveness: Just when we got back from our trip, we realized that one side of a door wasn't painted (communication difficulty on our end since we had asked that they do not paint the room on the other side). When we clarified our intentions with the Perfection Team, Mr. Hannold personally showed up the day of and took care of the other side of the door. We will absolutely keep him in mind for future jobs.
