Description of Work: I don't think I need to say anything more than paste in the email I received from Tyler, Creative Edge owner, on the morning of day 3 of our 4-day projected work. |" I regret to inform you that we will no longer be able to continue your project due to situations beyond our control as well as and illness. We know you are on a deadline and for this we are sorry." |We called these guys, because we needed painters quickly to finish our "designed to sell" project. They came, assessed the job, seemed nice and knowledgeable and most importantly, were available. They spent the first two days doing work that could have been done in half the time. That second night, I didn't pay attention to the fact that they cleared all their gear out, until I got that awful email, at 8 a.m., when I expected them at 9 a.m. It then became clear that they PLANNED to leave us high and dry and couldn't even do the least-decent thing and tell us that night, so we had a chance to find other painters. These children couldn't even tell us to our faces that they were skipping out. They were completely aware of our predicament; moving within days and needing quick and thorough work, which they promised they could do. We payed their exorbitant fees without question. You will hear them talk a very impressive talk, but there is nothing behind this company, but stoner kids, with NO work ethic whatsoever and worst of all, rude, immature and the MOST unprofessional experience we have ever had. |On the UP side, their disgusting departure forced me to do what I should have done in the first place -- write a mass email to friends looking for good painters. AND, we found the best: Redpoint Painters, a crew of woman who know EXACTLY what they are doing and do it incredibly well, who came in to save the day. |Creative Edge? Two kids, who have a LOT of growing-up to do and who, sadly, have already started a path up the low road ....

Our project included eleven different paint colors across eight rooms, during less than ideal conditions, i.e. multiple renovations with stuff everywhere. In addition, the job required covering (unseemly) wallpaper board and damaged walls, painting popcorn ceilings, as well as locating and replacing seam covers. The latter surprised us because they went out of their way to find an exact match. . Tyler and Robert went above and beyond our expectations, yet never overstepped boundaries. They maintained consistent communication, providing information, yet always adhering to our preferences. Our happiness with the end result was always their primary motivator. Both of them were incredibly good-natured and professional. They were courteous and did their best to accommodate our schedules and ensure our comfort during the process. What was anticipated to be a challenging and invasive week turned out to be a rather pleasant experience. Our first question upon completion of the project was "what other services can you provide?" A few weeks later, while having floors installed, we discovered that the baseboard molding could not be reused and there was no trim to match the flooring. As a result, paintable trim would need to be purchased and painted to match each of those same rooms. We reached out to Tyler and Robert and they made themselves available to complete the work for us in order to meet a tight deadline. Not only did they deliver the final product on time, but they worked with us on picking up the paints and the products so that the process could be as seamless as possible. The floor installers commented on the painting job and was impressed by the quality of the work both with respect to the trim as well as the walls themselves. We again ask, "what other services can you provide to us?"
