JC's Carpet Cleaning

Not a positive experience. I had contacted John to have him first determine whether carpet in a particular room could be cleaned (due to water and other damage), and then if so a cost. He misunderstood and arrived the day we had scheduled for the "estimate" prepared to clean the carpet. It was apparent he was not pleased that all I wanted was an estimate and a determination as to whether or not it could be cleaned, or needed to be replaced. He did tell me that it could probably be cleaned so I told him I would contract with him once I worked things out with the insurance company. I contacted him three days later to schedule an appointment for the cleaning; he told me his van was in the shop and his appointment book was in the van -- so he would call me back later in the evening to schedule something I waited all weekend and gave him until the Tuesday of the following week to call me back -- with no return call. Honestly, I was not surprised because I felt that he did not think the job was big enough to be bothered with. I called a competitor who came right away and did a fantastic job -- and was much cheaper than the estimate John gave me.

JC's Carpet Cleaning, Oceanside, NY, was excellent in all categories. We would recommend them to anyone. We plan to call on them for services when we need them in the future.

There was a scheduling conflict while I was out of the country. There were no problems with them though.

We've used this company a few times for different services, always extremely pleased. But now "Hurricane Sandy" 8 Ft. of water in our basement on the South Shore of Long Island. I called John not sure if this was his line of work. JC's came in pumped out the water ripped out walls & carpets, put the proper drying equipment in my home & once again saved the day. They came back and cleaned all the tile & grout on the first floor. "Amazing Service" Best Regards, John

Found John on Angie's list, and he was fantastic. I got a few estimates before I hired John. He was by far the most fair. I had two large tile floors that my folks hadn't had cleaned in 30 years. John is a one man operation with a helper. He went beyond the call of duty, went over spots again and again until he was satisfied, gave me a great price, and worked like a bandit. I had no idea what the REAL color of my floors were until John was done. I give JCS Carpet's the very highest recommendation. A+

John was very professional, curteous and did a very good job as did his helper. They were very thorough and cared about the job they did. We knew there were some stains that were old so we weren't surprised when John said they probably wouldn't come out.

He was very personable,he was on time, he did a thorough job, he told me what chemicals he was going to use and the first time I used him he did my whole kitchen. They did the floor and cleaned the upholsteries and I liked him a lot. He did a good job and he came in and did what he was supposed to do. That was it. I would use him again.

He was excellent. He did an excellent job. The carpets were really bad and he got them perfect. He was courteous. He was easy to get along with. He loves what he does and it showed. He was very careful with my furniture. It was very nice.

They were thorough and on time. Their service was neat and clean and I was very pleased with them.

John arrived on time, and estimated his total work time very precisely. The work was performed expertly with advanced equipment for carpets and upholstery. We were very impressed with the professionalism with which the job was done!

John (the owner) gets my highest rating, the " Triple Wow" ! And, this rating is very hard to get, considering a major part of my career was quality management and customer service. John was in Florida when I first called. He immediately returned my call and set up a convenient appt. Date and time. He arrived promptly and explained the entire process. He was very Finally, he is the nicest person you would ever imagine.

The moment I contacted John I noticed he was a little apprehensive on answering my request to clean the carpet. But as soon as I told him I had got him through Angie's List, he changed and became a lot more open. That gave me the impression that he likes to keep a high professional profile within the "List" community. And he is very professional. He called 30 minutes before arriving, and later vacuumed and cleaned the whole carpet in our two stories rental apartment. When he finished I did not see the real difference in the cleanliness of the floor, at first. But once the carpet dried, about three hours later, it was another story. I would definitely would work with him again.

They did a good job cleaning the carpet. They also cleaned an upholstered chair and after it dried it looked brand new.

They were late about a half hour, but John did call to let me know he was running late. Once they arrived I showed him what areas needed to be done and pointed out the areas that needed extra attention. They began by vacuuming, which turned out to be much more work than expected. Apparently I didn't know that the belt on my vacuum was broken and it wasn't doing as good a job of vacuuming as I thought. They had to go over it several times. as there was alot of hair and fibers in the carpet and it kept clogging their vacuum. Then they addressed the spot treatments and applied the foam to the carpet. Once it was done I inspected the rugs and saw that the work done was excellent. John was very meticulous and professional and even though they had to stay longer than expected due to the issues with the hair, John made sure that he wasn't going to leave until the job was done right and done thoroughly. For the work that needed to be done and the quality of the work, I felt that the price was very fair and reasonable. I certainly recommend JC's Carpet Cleaning and would use them again.

Contacted JC's Carpet Cleaning and spoke with the owner John. I told John that I found his company on Angies list and he asked me if I knew that they had coupons on the site. I set up an appointmet to have three rooms of carpet cleaned. John and an associate showed up at the appointed time and did a thorough job. John proved to be a true professional, a very personable individual who I would not hestitate to recommend or use again.

Overall, I can't say enough about John and his company....I have used other carpet-cleaning companies in the past, and was not totally satisfied. As stated above, all carpets and furniture were cleaned very thoroughly. From their arrival to when they left, everything went very well. The money was well-spent. I will use them again.

OVER ALL EXPERIENCE WAS BAD, NOT PROFESSIONAL

Overall, the work was fine, and everything was clean; I had no complaints. They were fast and moved the furniture that had to be moved. They did a good job, and the price was reasonable. I would use them again in the future if necessary.

On time for estimate. I had to cancel original appointment due to a family emergency. Easy toset up a second appointment. Arrived on time, did the job in a professional manner. Very satisfied.

I am exceptionally pleased with the results of his work. He performed the job professionally and above all conscientiously. His 14 years of experience showed in the way he handled the equipment and the care he gave our furniture. I intend to recommend him to my friends and relatives for upholstery cleaning in the future and I will not hesitate to call him again should the need arise.

Overall it went really well. I had all the carpets and tile in the house cleaned. In the spots that were super soiled they took extra care to go over it to make sure they really got the dirt up. I love the dry foam system that they use. It took less than a day for my carpets to dry, any residual smell from the carpet deodorizer was gone by the next morning, and my carpets came out really clean! My favorite chair looks new again. But the best part was the difference in the tile. I can't believe how clean they came up, - the grout looks like new (and in one spot that were deeply stained from a red grape juice spill is definitely A LOT lighter). He gave me a great price and did excellent work. I will absolutely use this company in the future.
