My 1979 gas boiler broke down during the frigid 2018 winter blizzard. Although the timing was not ideal it served my family well - RIP my good ole friend. I researched and contacted a few plumbing and heating companies and ultimately chose Ajax Plumbing and Heating Corp because of the many positive reviews of satisfied and loyal customers and the 3-year tune-up and service contract included in price. I contacted Ajax and left a message. Shortly after Adam, who had just completed a boiler replacement in the middle of snowstorm and was stuck in his truck, returned my call. We made an appointment for 930am next day and Adam arrived on schedule. He provided a detailed estimate and we signed a contract to start two days later when new boiler would arrive. Just as promised Adam arrived at 730am with his assistant Eric and they went right to work. Adam estimated the dead boiler removal and new Burnham boiler install would be completed between 2 and 230 pm. All was done by 215pm and shortly after all radiators were generating heat. He gave me a lesson on Boiler maintenance so I could keep it going smoothly. Adam was also nice enough to delay cashing my check a day to allow my deposit to clear. Overall it was a very positive experience and the new boiler looks good! I plan to take advantage of the 3-year tune-ups and Adam’s services if the need ever arises

Awesome i personally wasn't home for the work but he arrived promptly at 8am,called and texted pictures of how he would like to change the pipes location from the original proposal so as to save the cabinet thy were originally planned to go through. He was done within 4 hours and was very reasonably priced compared to the other estimates i had gotten I will defiantly be using adam for any plumbing issues i may have.

He worked long & hard. He was here promptly at 8 AM, & didn't leave until the afternoon. I now have hot water that stays hot.

The estimate time for the job was two (2) days, however everything was done in one day. The problem started when Mr Adam Epstein, failed to obtain the 2012 Annual boiler inspection. The job failed the Building Dept. inspection due to: 1. Missing Chimney Rain Cap 2. Fresh Air Intake new requirements 3. Insulation not installed 4.Manual reset LWCO not installed 5.Shut off valves and flanges for steam 2 headers not installed. A few days after the inspection Mr Adam Epstein sent me a new estimate for $ 4320.00 in order to complete the work required for the boiler to past inspection. He claimed that he was not responsible for the new requirements by the Building Dept and that they were new laws. These guidelines were in place before I signed the contract, not after. Although I believe that Mr Epstein as a professional should have been aware of all these problem and inform me properly. I was still willing to work things out ,so I agreed to pay for part of the job. He refused and told me all he could take off as a discount was $600.00 off the price he quoted me. The job is still unfinished.

I would recommend this guy, this company was superb. He said he would be here, he was here when he said he was. His price was reasonable, and he did the job that nobody seemed to be able to fix and we have not had any problems since.

I would use them again.
