Paul's Painting & Powerwashing

As a church; we bid this project. Paul was the lowest bidder. We invited him back to a meeting to discuss the finer details and were very pleased with his work proposal. We checked his references and they were exceptional. We asked for a liability rider and he supplied without a problem. He finished the job one day earlier then expected, covered everything! It is beautiful job done.! We have asked him to quote the exterior of the church and I have asked him to quote painting my house. The Church will be on his list of previous clients for references

We were very pleased that all visible mold and dirt were removed (and for the deck, without taking the paint off.) We were careful to clarify with vendors that we wanted a soft wash because we weren't going to be repainting the deck, and that was understood by those we got quotes from (Angie's List should really add a "softwashing" category.) We thoroughly researched top-rated service providers for our area and Paul was by far the most affordable and also just a pleasure to work with.

Paul was a pleasure to deal with from beginning to end. His quote was more than fair for the work to be performed. He was professional and courteous during the job. The house and fence look great - would hire again for sure - can recommend his services without hesitation!

Paul was very responsive in answering emails, texts and phone calls, which is very important and rare amongst contractors. He turned up when he said he would, and did the work on schedule. He was very willing to work closely with me on matching paint color and to experiment with different options. In the end, I was very satisfied with his color mixing work. The actual paint work was a difficult job. The house and garage have older cedar shake siding, not all of which is in good condition. Paul was very good about explaining the inherent difficulties with working with such siding, the fact that scraping the old layers of paint would be challenging without further damaging the old underlying shakes. He replaced some of the worst condition shakes in the process and did his best to match color despite somewhat different textures/absorptive characteristics. After he completed the work, I found that there were some particularly challenging spots where the old underlying peeling paint was showing through, and I asked him to fix these spots. He was perfectly willing to return to correct the problem spots, which he rescraped, primed and repainted to improve them to the extent possible given the condition of the existing surfaces. In general, Paul was a very pleasant person to work with, very eager to do a good job, and flexible in his approach. I would recommend him without hesitation, particularly if you are on a modest budget and can't afford "premium" paint services, which can easily cost in excess of 2-3x as much. My current requirements don't demand such perfection, and achieving that would have required more extreme restorative measures (e.g. replacement of the entire set of shakes) but I could not have asked for a better result for the price I paid, nor a more responsive contractor.

Paul was a pleasure to work with. I contacted him and he stopped by the same day to provide an estimate. He arrived as scheduled and got right to work. He cleaned our siding, shutters and front walk. We had some dark, streaky stains on our white rain gutters that really looked bad. I had tried unsuccessfully to clean them with soap solution and bleach. Paul got them white again and they look great! Would definitely hire him again. Thanks, Paul!

The job was done above expectations. Paul was prompt and very professional. Our patio pavers were literally black with moss growing everywhere in the joints - we were even considering replacing them as they had become so unsightly. But Paul got them looking like new - amazing. He even power washed a cement area in the back of the house we didn't even discuss originally. The siding looks great as well. And, add to that the most reasonable price we've ever paid for this service. We'll definitely call Paul in the future.

Paul and Paul were terrific! Very professional and friendly. I added an additional job last minute and Paul had no problem adjusting his schedule to complete the job. All work was done superbly and I would absolutely call Paul in the future for paint or power washing work!

Paul showed up for the estimate even though it was raining that day and gave me a fair price for the job. Paul and his helper also named Paul arrived promptly on the scheduled day of work and they completed the job in 1 full sunny day. The stoop now looks brand new. Paul's color choice for the paint came out perfect and the pavers to the pool are now clean. Paul & Paul were a pleasure to work with and I would not hesitate to use Paul's services again.

Recently did a major renovation and solicited 3 estimates for painting a living room, bathroom and a mud room. Paul provided a very specific and professional estimate and a scheduled start date was agreed upon. Work was completed on schedule even though some additional items were added. Paul's work is top quality. Rooms are absolutely beautiful.

Contacted this provider via a deal on Angie's List. Indicated that it was no longer available. Set-up appointment to come & give us an estimate on painting entire interior of house. 3 bdrms, LR, DR, Den, hallway & 1 bath. 1st appt. was for during the week & he called 1 hr prior to appt to cancel. Re-scheduled for a week-end. Showed-up to appt. on time, was courteous, took notes on scope & details for work we wanted done. Was to e-mail us w/estimate within a few days. That was almost 2 weeks ago. Have not received estimate, even checking my "junk" mail.

Paul was Professional as well as prompt throughout the whole process as was his co-worker. The entire job was well done, (including some extras, much appreciated) If you want someone who pays attention to detail, Paul is the guy you want. I will be using his services again.

Paul did a quality job. He power washed my home and back patio area. He was very responsive and gave a detailed invoice what work was done.

Job overall was good. There was an issue with what parts of the deck were included. According to the technician only the steps and deck (where you walk) are normally included. The posts and rails surrounding the deck and going down the steps were not. After i complained that this was not explained to me he did do a quick wash. Technician was professional and did a good job at a fair price. The only other issue was all the dirt from the driveway was washed down into the street right in front of the driveway in a puddle. So the first time we drove the car out and back in the dirty water was brought back up onto the driveway. Would have been better if that was washed a little bit down the street away from the driveway. Will use again but need a better explanation of what is and is not included.

5 star job - beats all prior jobs done by others in the past - Paul paid much attention to detail - and I like the idea that the owner did the job and did it 100% right!

Paul arrived exactly when he said he would and got right to work. He meticulously sprayed our house and some sections of fence with a water/bleach mixture before he used the pressure washer. Paul worked non-stop and the results were fantastic. Many of the white trim areas of our house came out looking brand new, and pressure washing our siding reveled a different shade of gray, which looks great. We couldn't be happier with the work Paul did. I would definitely contact him again next year if the need arises. Thanks again, Paul!

Once the work was scheduled, everything went off in a timely fashion and was handled professionally. Powerwash quality was very good, they took the time to make sure they got the corners and areas that required additional attention. Paint job was only one room, but tricky because all of the finishes were in place, and it was tight quarters. They did a nice job with prep and getting a smooth finish, no beading or drips. Also no paint on the moldings or fixtures. While I'm sure one could find a lower price if they just wanted to go with the cheapest option, I still grade an "A" on price because it was good value for getting the job done right.

Paul is punctual, courteous, and most importantly takes pride in his work. I am very pleased with the outcome of the work he did.
