Description of Work: they actually cemented my baseboard heat into the floor when they poured cement to level the floor. they had to remove my heat covers with a sawzall! they broke a partition in my house and the owner actually tried to say I did it! had to prove they did it with pictures! horrible horrible owner - and his brother that works for him is useless.

Description of Work: They installed the floors I had purchased from a local flooring store. It was part of my office renovation. My contractor did the windows and other parts of the project. |This was the third project that Palermo did for me. Each project was done professionally which includes efficiency and neatness. + 0 moreThe owner came to my house for a estimate and I made an appointment for the work to be done. One day was spent sanding; the next staining and applying a finish. The next day drying. The 4th day we were able to come move back into the house.
Description of Work: Refinished floors in my house with a cherry finish. Beautiful work; mimimal dust left from sanding. At the time I wished all of the wood work I needed done in my house could be done by the owner of this company. The floors were done 3 years ago and still look like new.

+ 0 moreThey had to come back because the finish was not done correctly. It was a hassle for us and the work was not as good as it could have been. The sanding was done in a very average fashion. In future I would go with a company that has a sanding system that would suck the dust into their truck. Palermo Hardwood Flooring doesn’t have that kind of system. This is another reason for which I would not use them again.
Description of Work: We used Palermo Hardwood Flooring to sand our first floor. On the second floor they replaced carpets with hardwood floor.

The weave job is seamless and you can't tell where the repair was done. Looks Great!! We even got started ahead of schedule and it only took two days. The floors look beautiful. I would definitely use them again.

+ 1 moreWe could wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone who wants a quality flooring job done at reasonable prices by professional, respectful young men! Matt was even able to refer us to several other excellent craftsmen to help us with the repair of our fireplace. Our entire affiliation with Palermo Flooring was a very satisfying one!
Description of Work: The previous owner had put hardwood floors in the living and dining areas, and we asked Matt and his team to extend that hardwood flooring into the foyer and kitchen so that it all seemed like one, unified "Great Room." Matt assured us that he could "weave" and extend the hardwood flooring so that there were no seams or indications of any kind that the floors were ever different!! When the old ceramic tiles were removed it was discovered that the sub-flooring was very inadequate (that is probably why the ceramic tile had cracked). Matt replaced that sub-floor, laid the new hardwood, sanded and stained and finished the flooring, so that the entire main floor of our home looked beautiful! Matt and his team also sanded and finished the hardwood floors in 3 upstairs bedrooms; sanded and finished the handrail; and did an excellent job of providing custom moulding for the kitchen area.
