KEN'S CLEAN UPS

Contact was solely over telephone and initial impression was good. Ken provided an estimate of $350 for teh wood and $150 for the concrete block removal. The tree branches were cleared on time as promised but Ken called to say he would come back to clear the concrete. When I arrived home the area was cleared satisfactorily however I later noted damage to the asphalt driveway from where the wood chippers had used some kind of additional support. Unfortunately as he had seemed honorable at the beginning, I had paid in full. I called Ken and he said it was his tree guys and that he would talk to him but I never received a call back, apology, partial refund regarding the damage and did not expect much of a response since it was the "tree guy's" fault. Additionally Ken never returned to clear the concrete block. When I called to follow up I received apoligies and excuses and postponements but he never showed.

We were very pleased with Ken and his crew. They worked hard and efficiently. He was fair and honest. He showed up for both the estimate and the work on time. They accomplished the entire job in one day whereas others said it would take 2-3 days and cost more than twice what Ken charged. We plan to use him to gut the kitchen and bathroom upstairs as well.
