In building a large deck off of the back of my house (project with a countless variables), Pat at Steadfast Carpentry worked to complete a design to my exact wants that will continue to impress everyone who sees it for decades. Pat demonstrated a deep knowledge and care for well-built and beautiful woodworking, and was able to exceed any expectations of build quality, cost, and aesthetics, whilst working safely and within the constraints of our town codes. I cannot overstate how friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and diligent he has been throughout the entire process. Patrick did a fantastic job! Our house is about 130 years old and whenever we want to do a project here, it needs 10 extra steps. Patrick had the know how and the patience to do the job right. We are already talking about hiring him for additional projects in the new year!

Pat masterfully sealed our windows against ants and water damage. He found the most cost efficient way to prevent further damage and fixed the already present damage -saving us a lot of money (we didn’t have to buy new windows!). We then hired him again to fix water damage in a closet with the same results. It was a pleasure working with Pat from beginning to end. His work is reliable and, even more important, so is his word. He finds a cost saving way to do what is needed, explaining the whole way through, and then sees the job until the very end. When we bought our house we needed to completely replace the carpeting with laminate flooring before we could move in. Pat helped us get everything handled quickly and the floors came out looking great. He was very knowledgeable about the process and we will definitely be working with him again for other home improvement projects.

Pat from Steadfast Carpentry didn’t shy away when we asked him to install a hidden bookshelf door in our living room. He advised us throughout the purchase to ensure we were getting the correct product for our space. The door is used daily and is still as sturdy as the day it was installed.
