Description of Work: Built a beautiful rock wall in the rear of the property. Beautifully done something you would see in Ireland! James is great to work with. One side note, while they were working my kitchen sink fell causing a larger water leak. The workmen came right in and turned off the water to the house. They were very nice and helpful even though this was not their job. If they did not help me I would had severe damage to my basement and my electrical system. The work is beautiful and they show up on time.

Description of Work: James Walsh and his crew installed the granite facade of my newly constructed home which I've now lived in for a year. The workmanship and quality exceed my expectations. I am so happy with my stone house, a dream I've had for a long time. James did exactly what he said he was going to do - did the work on time, for the cost he quoted me, even working through rain (tarps over his scaffolds). Throughout his work (only 5 weeks!), he was courteous, professional, and on the job every day. He and his crew clearly know what they're doing, and get the job done! He is a rare gem, and a true pleasure to work with. After living in the house for a year, I appreciate him even more than I did at the time the work was done.

Description of Work: I called James a few days earlier before he called me back. I explained about our 2 fireplaces that might need some work. We were not sure since they haven't been used since we moved to our house over 3 years ago. He was very pleasant and offered a free inspection for us. He came on time, checked and explained to us what kind of work to be done. We were not aware that he doesn't do the lining, etc for fireplaces but mainly doing masonry work on the fireplaces. So we would need to have another company to fix the fireplace itself before we can use his service. Bottom line, very nice and professional, we would use his company when we need it in the future.

Description of Work: Rebuilt and replaced a blustone and brick walkway and stairs, as well as concrete repair. Courteous, knows craft well (as checked against sources of common industrial standards of how to perform work), artistic and honest. Such a good find am reluctant to share this company with anyone else.

Description of Work: James Walsh came and gave me a estimate for my for my front stoop and was very nice. The job was for blue stones with some stone veneers and stucco on both sides. I decided not to do the job because it's not in my budget, but will revisit next year.

Description of Work: To our disbelief, The Retaining Wall Tumbled Down about 1 month ago due to the heavy rains in Rockland County. After reading the (A) review on Angie's List with regards to Rock Solid Geneal Contractors Corp, I telephoned the Company. I Spoke to Mr. James Walsh. Mr. Walsh is a very, very nice gentlemen. My husband, and myself enjoyed his knowledge with regards to the necessary work that we needed to be done in order to keep this Retaining Wall from Tumbling Down again. Mr. Walsh had the work done on a timely manner and as of this date, August 17, 2011, the Wall is still beautiful. Mr. Walsh also, did a rock wall in the front of our home. The rocks also are still intact. Originally, I had wanted Mr. Walsh do re-pavers in the front and on the side of my home, and we had agreed to get this done. But, since I still need a new front door, and I have not had that work done yet, I decided to wait. But, you can be sure that as soon as I get the new Front door, I will be calling Mr. Walsh again.
