Ed was fantastic. Came early morning because he knew I needed to leave down. Was very thorough in work and articulate in explaining what he was doing and why. Pricey, but I rest better knowing he did the work and have confidence that if any issues arise he will come right back to take care of it.

Ed was the first one to respond. Said that he would be to my house first thing in the morning. He was very knowledgeable about my water system. This was not my first Rodeo and have even replaced well pumps my self, so I had a understanding of what need to be done. The well is deep(over 300 ft. down) and required special equipment to pull up. Ed's apprentice/helper was very professional and knew what he was doing. To say the least they impressed me --from calculating the horsepower pump I would need to the amount of reserve water I had in the well pipe. They calculated the length and gauge wire I would need to power the pump and checked the distance from the main power supply . Installed a gate in the water line to prevent a flow back. (there should of been one in the line --there wasn't) Shocked the well to prevent bacteria contamination. At the end of the work Ed told me if I had any problems to call. I feel this business man can be counted on.

Ed and team did a wonderful job, They were very responsive to us -- got there immediately, and also came back to make sure it was all working properly. They are awesome. I would highly recommend them. We used them again to replace our old boiler and water heater. We would definitely use them again. Great customer service!

Waterboy Waterworks completely removed our old boiler (it was about 50 year old!) and water heater, and replaced all with new equipment. They did a wonderful installation, removed all the old stuff, went up and down our basement stair a hundred times it seems! Then they installed the new units with all new connections. They worked hard and left the area very clean. They were also very nice (and understanding) to my handicapped brother (and his questions). They are wonderful to work with, showed up on time, explained the new unit and what was available, and did a fantastic job. We would definitely use them again. In fact, we would use no one else. Great customer service and great people!

He replaced the 20-year old well pump, and installed a larger storage tank and more modern water filtering/softening system. The new system is much improved, in terms of both water quantity and quality, and is easier to maintain. Ed knows his stuff!
Description of Work: We were occasionally running short of water. Ed checked and cleaned our well.

My water supply has been dwindling all winter. It got to the point that we couldn't flush a toilet more often than once every half hour. I called Waterboy (Ed Duncan) on Sunday. He apologized that he could not come immediately because he was at his son's musical and could not disappoint the boy. He promised to call me when it was over and make arrangements for the first thing the next day. I found this satisfactory, as we did have SOME water. He called about an hour later, and we made the appointment. This company services a wide area, so the fact that we were an hour away was not a problem. He does not charge for travel time. He showed up on time on Monday morning, with a large truck full of everything he would need to do my job. He did some testing on my water tank and discovered that there was a short in the wiring to the pump. Then he went out to the wellhead, took the cover off, and showed me a burned-out connection in the top of the wires. He and his helper brought out a machine made to pull the pipes to the pump and the pump itself out of the ground. As the pipes and wires came out, I saw several places where the wire insulation had been damaged. They pulled up 136 feed of pipe, plus the pump, which looked like it had exploded. He showed me that it was made out of thin plastic, so it had failed prematurely. They replaced the old pump with one made of stainless steel with brass water connections, replaced all the wiring, added more line guards to keep the pipe and wires from rubbing against the sides of the well, then replaced the electrical connections at the top. Then they went inside and tested the water tank for pressure. The old tank was not holding enough pressure, so they also replaced that. It took them about 4 hours to completely replace my water supply. I was very pleased. Ed explained to me that for the first few days I should use the well water only for flushing and showering, because there was a lot of rust in the well and he had also added some chlorine to make sure there was no problem with bacteria. I remembered that I had the same warning when we first moved into the house. While Ed was writing up my bill, his helper cleaned up all the tools and debris from the job. When I went back to look at it, I wouldn't have known that any work had been done. Ed was well aware that this was an expensive job, and was very accommodating about payment terms. He asked for whatever I could manage as a first payment, and gave me the time I asked for to pay for the rest, with no interest to pay unless I went past the stated time. Ed is very professional and friendly. He mentioned that he keeps up with any training available in his fields. I would definitely call Waterboy again, and would recommend them to anybody!
