+ -1 moreFantastic. Jack returned my call immediately, and came right when he said he would - to the minute! - the next day. He was knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. He inspected the area, told me what the problem was, treated it immediately and let me know what to do to prevent further problems, all at a very reasonable price. I would recommend him highly to anyone. (I had previously called Terminix, with which we have a termite inspection contract, and they didn't call back for over a week. When they finally did, they said it would cost $600 to continue treating!)

Description of Work: After a 2nd mouse decided to come into my home, I began my search for pest control. I did not want a big company that would want to put me on a Plan. I found great reviews for Pro Tech and gave a call. Jack contacted me before 9 am. We had a same day appointment, he set traps and has been back to check them.

+ 0 moreI looked up exterminators on Angie's List and wanted someone local, none of the big firms. I called Jack and he answered first ring. I explained what was needed and he came within an hour. He knew exactly what to do and took care of the problem right away. From now on, he's our guy.

Description of Work: Mr Koorman came and assessed the problem with wasps. |We decided to wait. We called him back when wasps were continuing to come into the house. He climbed onto the roof and sprayed powder into the nest. So far there have been no wasps in the house. He said he would return if the problem continued.

+ 0 moreJack Koomen, the owner, was on time which was very appreciated. He has a cordial, professional demeanor. He saw that the damage wasn't recent ( my landscaper spotted it when pruning) and suggested I keep an eye on the area to make sure the squirrel had left the premises. I intend to do that and will call him with any pest problems in the future.
Description of Work: Inspected the damaged cedar shingles on my house and determined it was caused by a squirrel(s).

Description of Work: They evaluated out property for any signs of pests and rodents. Identified some key changes to be made to help avoid/eliminate and possible problems and then treated out main concern - carpenter ants. Identified key entry points to the harm and made suggestions to avoid the water damage they are attracted to. Baited our lawn with pet friendly ant food and any further signs of the problem went away. Will repeat treatment with Pro-Techs yearly.

Description of Work: I had a problem with crickets. I called Jack at Pro-Tech because I had used him this spring when I had bees in the overhang of my window. At that time he treated the areas involved and I no longer had a problem. |This time, I found crickets in several areas of my home. Jack treated the outside area around the house and left treated pads in my basement and other areas of my garage. At the same time, he found a small nest of bees near my garage doors. He eliminated that for me. Since his treatment, I have seen only one cricket. | |I would highly recommend Pro-Tech. He put some drops around and powder and he said to call in a few days and he would have to put some more stuff down. We did need to call him again and he came right over. I did have to call again. We still have some. But they are definitely getting better. One or two here and there. I am hoping to rectify this before winter. He is a good businessman.
Description of Work: Jack came in and took a look for us. We have been having bee problems and they were coming in the house. They were coming in on one side of the house. There was a lot of bees. He had put some powder around one area we had some issues by the chimney. And they were all on the roof. He did see other areas around. He did say they were not honey bees. Which we were grateful for.

He guaranteed that if the nests returned within the 2014 season he would come back and remove them. He was very professional, answered and returned calls promptly, and was very pleasant. His prices were very good.

Description of Work: Well let's start by saying that the price for my job was a flat rate for the year as much as I needed and I needed.....I had ant trouble the owner came and with a heavy accent told me he would have to come back after putting down bait and he did three times and my ants were handled. In a few months time I had another problem with Rats I called they came that day put down traps and came as needed. I love the work they do and would recommend them highly.

He then placed a few traps in suspicious locations he did find, all the while educating us on what he was doing (like better bait than peanut butter and why it is better). We plan o using Jack for maintenance going forward. We are very happy with the service provided so far. Jack is very professional and thorough. Also very friendly. The kids enjoyed following him around watching him set traps.

I don't always know when they are coming so if we are not there they will only do the outside. However, if I request them to come at a specific time to do the inside, they will.
