Description of Work: Competitive bid, arrived when scheduled,knowledgeable and skillful workers who worked hard and finished ahead of schedule. We had a complex roofing job done for our home.

There was a minor problem with one of my old storm windows being blown out and falling to the ground during the time when the basic sash windows had been taken to the contractor's shop for restoration. Although the workers denied it, it seems to me that some carelessness must have been involved for this to have happened, and the broken glass was not cleaned up until I reported the problem to the contractor the next day, and even then was not completely cleaned up. On the whole, however, the workers were responsible, friendly and punctual. The contractor did offer to replace the glass in the broken storm window, but I decided to buy new storm windows instead. All the work done by this contractor is very expensive, but is of extremely high quality. This is important because my house is in a landmarked district. This contractor is extremely well qualified to do restoration work on buildings for which NYC Landmarks Commission rules and guildlines must be applied.
Description of Work: Window restoration [November - December 2010] Masonry [November 2010] Installation [including measurement, help ordering and delivery] of storm door and seven storm windows] [December 2010] Restoration of gutters and scuppers, including required masonry [January 2012] Repair of brick stoop [January 2012] How much spent answer is for 2012 work only. Work done in 2010 totaled approximately $24,000. I am not sure that I have included the fees for installing the storm door and storm windows in this figure, but the contractor can probably supply the exact figures.
