Kevin did a great job on our project. The shower looks great! But what I'm most impressed about is Kevin's follow through and commitment. First of all, when I called him about the job he answered right away (no voice mail) and he actually called me back when he said he would! He was very responsive throughout the entire project. He came over early, before I had to leave for work, to check out the job to give us an estimate. Then, he arrived on time and finished when he said he would. I would highly recommend Kevin!

This was our second time hiring Kevin (had done kitchen back splash a few months prior). We knew we wouldn't be disappointed. His work is clean, precise, and detailed...he truly and genuinely cares about how it turns out and makes sure everything is perfect. My new bathroom is my favorite room in the house. We've gotten tons of compliments. Besides the work being immaculate, Kevin is a pleasure to have around. Being that you spend time in your own home with someone working can sometimes can be difficult and awkward, Kevin's presence was comfortable and we enjoyed getting to know him. He is extremely trustworthy, as we left him the key to our home on days where we would be out or at work. He was kind and personable to our whole family and was understanding and flexible with our dog being out and around while he worked. For the jobs that needed outside professionals like a plumber or electrician, he had fantastic recommendations that were reasonable and easy to work with as well. We will definitely be calling Kevin when we are ready to delve into a new project. Thanks again, Kevin!

Kev was responsive from our first inquiry. He provided solid guidance as we considered the options for dealing with an older tiled floor that had some deterioration in the grout joints. We ended up laying a new floor over the existing floor which had me a bit curious at first, but the finished product was so superior to what we started with. There was no doubt as to this having been the right move. The workmanship was excellent; the new floor was sloped better and the drain was more even with the new tile than the starting product as well. We are very pleased with the finished product and wouldn't hesitate to have Kev do more work for us.

Working with Kevin was wonderful from start to finish. From the estimate to our finished product, we couldn't be more pleased with Kevin's work. During the estimate, he took his time to really look at the existing surfaces and came up/advised me with creative ideas and options (unlike some other companies' estimates that simply took a few measurements and threw a number on a page in 2 minutes). Kevin's work is immaculate, to say the least. He is extremely precise in his work, leaving our kitchen looking better than I had imagined. It was apparent that Kevin takes great pride in his craft . Besides the actual work, Kevin was extremely personable, approachable, and kind. I would, no doubt, hire Kevin for future jobs in my house. Thanks, Kevin, for the amazing job you did! Kevin promptly returned my initial phone call and was quick to come by to take a look at our existing tile floor. With his guidance, we opted to have the tiles refinished rather than having a new floor installed. Given the amount of effort that was necessary to revitalize the appearance of the floor, including sanding down a great many deep gouges, Kevin's price was very reasonable. Beyond his craftsmanship and business practices, Kevin is a true gentleman, which always goes a long way with me. I highly recommend his services.

After replacing our tub with a walk-in shower stall, the wall behind it needed to be repaired. I originally intended to repair and repaint it. Kev suggested installing a framework of tile around it. The outcome is much more pleasing. He did an excellent job.

Kevin was wonderful to work with. He was quick to respond to my phone calls and questions and was flexible with scheduling, he even agreed to come work on a Sunday. He was honest in his assessment of my bathroom repairs and did a great job. I would definitely contact him again for future tile needs.

We had a small space to retile for a hearth between built in cabinets. Kevin gave special attention to detail in his work. The space was not level and required a tedious amount of build up to make the tile level. We had him look at the job several months prior to the work being finished. I really appreciate his initiative in following up on scheduling for the job. He kept the work space clean and tidy.

Kevin did a great job, he worked h****** our shower, to ensure we didn't have problems in the future due to water damage below the shower. Kevin worked hard to clean up after himself daily. During this several week process, if we needed to ask Kevin a question, he always responded quickly to text messages. When our young daughters asked him questions while he was trying to work, he took the time to answer their questions and interacted as a professional. He gave us several tile showrooms to visit in our area when we were trying to find replacement tile.

Since I had an odd tile request, I wasn't sure how to proceed. Luckily for me, Kevin made it easy. This wasn't an entire kitchen tile remodel, so Kevin and I worked through emails (with photos) to plan the job. Regrettably, the original backsplash tile in my kitchen is no longer manufactured, so had to select something that blended with what I had in the room. I originally wanted the oven backsplash (30" x 30") retiled with the mosaic tiles I found. However, Kevin advised that we might be able to remove only the old decorative sections, if the sheetrock was in good condition. I liked his conservative approach. He kept to his timetable of when he could start. After working on the job, we noticed the sheetrock would have to be replaced, so we ended up removing the full section over the range. The demolition was done quickly and as cleanly as possible. The new sheetrock went up and he was able to cut and affix the new tile in one day. He then grouted the following day. While at the house, he also re-grouted around the master bathroom tub. Both projects were efficiently completed. He called back a few days later after the job was completed to follow-up again. I'm very happy with how the project turned out. Such a small change really brightened up the range workspace. I'm thankful I located Kevin on Angie's list and would highly recommend him to anyone.

We just finished building a new home. Our contractor brought in a tile crew that we were not completely happy with. When it became obvious that they were not familiar with cutting the glass subway tile for our kitchen we decided to call someone in our selves. After looking on Angies List we noticed that Kevin had many great reviews, one of which included doing a tile job on a kitchen backsplash with glass subway tile! We called to schedule the job. Kevin returned all calls promptly and kept us well informed on the timeline for the job. Each day he left the work area nice and tidy . He finished in 4 days. Three weeks later we are still standing in the kitchen, beaming and admiring his work; the perfectly straight lines and wonderfully smooth grout! We are more than 'pleased' .After a less than stellar experience with the other tile contractors for the baths in the new build.....we are relieved, grateful and super happy with our kitchen results with KEVIN .We have had many compliments! Kevin did a good job on a small job that not all contractors would have wanted to tackle. He was professional, friendly, and punctual.

Kevin was courteous and provided an estimate of labor and materials. He goes the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction and is truly a craftsman. He did two showers for me ( 2700.00 for one and 2100.00 for the other) This work required someone adapted to framing the woodwork damaged by water and good knowledge of tile work. He is excellent at both and always goes back to cross every T and dot every I. We were most impressed as anyone who chooses Kevin's Tile Works will be. Our existing double shower was leaking and had to be totally torn out due to the waterproofing not being done correctly. Kevin took the shower down to the studs and plywood floor. He then put in a Schluter-Kerdi waterproof membrane from floor to ceiling and re-tiled. He added a decorative tile border, 2 niches and a corner seat that we previously did not have. The end result is absolutely gorgeous. Kevin is meticulous in his work. Every tile was perfectly set and if he didn't like how it looked it came out and was set again. He measured and planned everything before starting so all tiles were offset in a beautiful pattern that made them all fit in nicely without a lot of small end pieces. He installed a new marble threshold and corner seat that look beautiful. The two niches he installed have the border running through them and have a metal border that gave the shower a very art deco and modern look. With our original tile shower the tile extended outside of the shower and around a small end wall. Kevin removed that tile, installed sheet rock and had the area prepped for painting. He also had to replace the wood trim on that same wall and around the corner and his mitered cuts and installation were done perfectly too. Kevin can get pretty busy so make sure you are his only job if you want your job to be done in a short time frame. He is very honest and trustworthy and I never worried leaving him in our home alone. I would definitely hire him again.

Both of our projects were fixes to improper installations 10-12 years ago, during renovation. Kevin not only gave us great service, he also helped us envision the end result. In the case of the kitchen, he even found better & cheaper tile than what we'd picked out & came up with a design far better than what we were envisioning. He does great work, is highly reliable and you can count on a solid job done well. I also liked that his estimate was a range, refined after he got in here & found out how much damage there was (less than he'd expected).

While attempting to re-grout the tile in our 24 year old shower, I found that there was significant water damage and many tiles were coming loose and the wallboard was separating. Because of the age, the tile size was no longer available. I contacted Kevin and one other contractor. Kevin came the same day to investigate the problem. The original wall was not waterproof and the grout was inferior. We decided to replace both. Kevin did an excellent job completing the work in a relatively short time. I am very confident in the material and workmanship used in our shower now. Also, because of the change in tile size, he came up with creative ideas to transition to the existing baseboard to minimize the work while keeping the appearance professional. Overall, I am very pleased with this work and would gladly use this company again.

Kevin showed up on time and completed the work in a timely manner. He communicated clearly about the timeline for completing the work and the cost of the work. Kevin takes pride in his work and it shows. The tile job came out beautifully and everyone who sees it loves it.

He was here two days ago. It was wonderful. He calls ahead of time and tells you when he'll be there, if he gets held up he will call you again and fill you in on everything, which is a real big thing to me. He keeps you in the loop. When he is done he leaves the house cleaner than when he started out.
