+ -1 moreHe was prompt and showed up when he said he would. The floors were quickly finished and he was nice enough to offer to come back to fix anything in the future if something were to happen. I love my new floors, the color is exactly what I wanted. My Mother-n-law will need her floors re-finished soon and we plan to have him do it. Definitely call him for an estimate.

+ -1 moreWe could not have been more pleased with the Steve and the job he did......a pleasure pin this day and age when reputable service people are hard to find.
Description of Work: Steve pulled up our old carpeting in our office and the "L" shaped hallway and sanded and refinished the existing hardwood floors. He was a pleasure to work with, responsive and punctual and. He did the work while we were away and we felt perfectly comfortable giving him a key and having him in our house with no one there. I would certainly recommend him to anyone wanting a professional job done right.

+ 0 moreSteve is extremely professional and is a perfectionist. He is also friendly, on-time, and trustworthy. I felt comfortable having him work when I wasn't home. He cleaned the dust from the rooms thoroughly and kept the dust and the fumes from spreading throughout the house, so we were able to stay in the house while he was working. I very highly recommend him.
Description of Work: They took up carpeting and refinished wood floors in three bedrooms and the landing. They also moved all the furniture in and out of the rooms, and installed quarter rounds in two rooms and the landing. Each room cost approximately $500, and the furniture moving and quarter rounds cost about $600.

+ 0 moreI think only one man came to work on my wood floors because Anders S Hodne and Sons was trying to save money. The job was very sloppy. He gouged wood out of my 35 year old bedroom set and took paint off of walls from carelessness. He was sort of on time and did do the work. I don't remember what they charged me, but whatever it was too much.
Description of Work: I had them come to finish the wood floors in my bedroom, hallway, and stairs. One man came.
