Was initially great to work and was quoted what I thought was a fair price for their 'winter special' ($350-500 total).
The actual removal itself was very quick (under an hour).
But after doing the removal (which was honestly half of the inventory it was supposed to be since we were able to sell/donate a lot of furniture before the pickup day) my mother and brother told me they were asked to pay $900 ( basically doublewhat I was quoted as the max amount). I then called and was told that everything cost closer to $600 which was strange given it was far less to remove from my mother's house and there would be $150 per a laborer ($300), a cost that was not mentioned at all until that point.
Can't complain about the service itself since it was quick and they got the job done but I felt like we were really taken advantage on price wise and would not recommend Finesse Rapid Removals because of that.
Response from Rapid Removal Services
Thank you for your honest opinion and appreciate that you still valued our Quick and efficient services. Unfortunately the price remains the same whether you decide on the day of the removal to keep items instead of throwing them out. We initially quoted $850 for a 15 ft. dump truck. That is not to include the price of the labor but include the price of the dumpster, dump fee and taxes. the labor cost seems very reasonable especially since most of your items removed were larger heavier items both in the basement and on the second floor along with the main floor. We were able to accommodate the client by discounting up to $200 because the dump truck was not filled as expected. Nonetheless, thanks again for choosing finesse rapid removals I'm sure you'll reach out again especially during emergency removals. They always do
