They did excellent work! They showed up right on time and got all of the work done in one day.

Showed up promptly everyday on-time...which doesnt always happen now a days. Had the coffee ready for them!! His team of painters were very professional and personable, which makes for a better experience since they are in your house for 8 hrs a day for a week!!! I would definitely recommend PK's painting. Thanks Pete, it was a pleasure.

Overall, the project went extremely well. The PK guys showed up when they said they would, performed in a very workmanlike manner, cleaned up when they were done, and there were no surprises relative to schedule or cost. I don't know what else you could ask for. Would I call them again? You bet!

This company was thoroughly checked out thru Angie's List. Angie's List provided a link to also check them out thru the Better Business Bureau. I contacted them thru BBB and it is a 8 days later and no one has called or contacted me to set up an appointment for an estimate to paint my family room/stairwell, my living room/hallway or drywall/paint a bedroom. For me, when a company fails to respond to a potential customer in a timely manner, it means they are not interested in my business.

The painting job was superb. Peter Baier, the manager and owner, is very nice to work with -- polite, friendly, competent. All of his men are polite and friendly. They worked steadily and did an outstanding job. They painted just what was agreed on and did an excellent job.They protected items so that they would not be splattered with paint. They put back everything that they had to move to do the painting and cleaned up carefully afterward.We were more than satisfied and would recommend PK's Painting to anyone.

When I called Peter for an estimate, he came out that week to walk through my property and he then issued the estimate later that same day. He was pleasant to speak to both on the phone and in person. His feedback in discussing the projects showed that he not only had a lot of experience in these matters but he knew how to do it in a cost-effective manner. I liked that! When the work day arrived, Peter and his crew showed up bright and early (on time!). After Peter reviewed the to-do list with me again, his crew went straight to work. As they worked, Peter joined right in and I noticed that he kept good communication with his employees to make sure everyone was on the same page throughout the day. Everyone, I might add, was personable and professional. They all showed an eye for detail and were very thorough in the jobs they performed. They even repaired a patch we had tried to make in our ceiling and this wasn't even on our to-do list (they did it free-of-charge)! You could tell that they really cared about their work. When they would walk inside my house, they were neat and tidy. While they worked, there was no foul language and no obnoxious music blaring. When they left, there was no garbage left behind. By the end of the day, my house was looking great! I couldn’t be happier. I got a fair price, fast service (quote and service were completed in less than 1 week!), and I felt very comfortable with who I was doing business with. We’re listing our house on the market this weekend but now I wish we didn’t have to move! Love, love, love the work that Peter and his crew did. Thanks so much!

Their painting is phenomenal. They don't leave a mess. They cover and move the furniture. They clean up after themselves. Their prices are a little high, but the quality of their work is excellent.

Peter answered my e-mail within 24 hours and made the appointment for an estimate. The price quoted was very fair. Peter was very professional and businesslike. He and his employee were both punctual and worked quickly. The work done was more than satisfactory. The job was completed in less than 2 days, and within approximately 1 week of our original meeting. I have already recommended him to my friend.

Peter answered my initial call for an estimate promptly. He was very courteous and showed up on time in the evening for the estimate. He went over every detail thoroughly of what needed to be done. He very carefully explained the paints that he would work with and used a very good quality of paint. The estimate was fair for the work that needed to be done. Previously I had another estimate which was lower. However, I decided to go with PK's Painting because I knew that he would do a more professional job. Quality really matters to me. He and his partner came a week later as planned, exactly on time, and worked continuously until the job was done. They cleaned up afterwards and the painting looks flawless! I will be hiring him in the near future because his work is superior. Thanks to Peter, I have a beautiful living room.

The job went very smoothly and I was pleased with the high quality of the work. There were no surprises and Peter was very communicative at every stage of the job. He thought ahead and allowed me time to clean and polish original brass fixtures so they were ready before the job was done. When we had an issue because the 10 inch crown molding was too wide for any available mitre saw, he brought in a master carpenter to over see the installation at no additional cost to me. He also coordinated with my electrician for the installation of indirect lighting behind the crown molding in the entry hall. The team was friendly, efficient, and tidy in their work habits -- containing debris and cleaning up every day. The job was ready in time for a large party in my home, and I was delighted.

I can't say enough good things about Peter. He did a wonderfully creative job on a kitchen wall where the paint had peeled away from the original plaster which had a block design in it. He was able to repair it and clean it up, repaint it and keep the character of the design that was imprinted into the wall. He also repaired a water damaged bathroom ceiling and made it look like new again. I thought all his work was very high quality. What i liked best about working with Peter, was that he was straight forward and very easy to work with. He was open about what he needed and listened to what I wanted. I would definitely call him again and wish he could do all the work i needed done in my old house.

I spent between$800 and $1000 on that service. A piece of the window had dry rotted out and he had to form a replacement, which takes a great deal of skill and expertise and he did a wonderful job. The pricing was average. I will use this company again.

They were every through really quick and neat. I mean they never made a mess, they cleaned up around themselves they did a fantastic job.

I called Mr. Baier for an estimate. He made an appointment with me for only two days later. He appeared at the exact time of the appointment. The job was small and he said he could do the work that very day. His price was quite reasonable and going on his past reviews, I asked him to do the work. He explained in detail what work he would be doing and began immediately. He had to return later to complete the job after some drying time, which again he did promptly. He finished the work the same day and one would never know there was ever a problem with the walls and ceiling. In addition, he was extremely neat and cleaned up all the dust and debris. I would not hesitate to recommend him for plastering and painting.

Peter and his crew were 100% professional and personable. Peter responded to my call and came quickly for an estimate. When my move date got postponed, he rearranged his schedule to accomodate mine. He was on time, helpful and friendly. His crew did a great job! Would highly recommend them and I would hire them again.

I had a small job but it needed to get done immediately..I was blown away by the professionalism and prompt service. Although I was caught in a bind, PK's prices were extremely fair. My husband is a "do-it-yourselfer" but even he couldn't argue that I made the right decision by calling these guys. We will be calling them back in the Spring to do more work and recommend them highly!

We agreed on a price. Now I can't get ahold of him. I have left voicemails and emails. I can't get any response. I just want to know if he will do the job.

Peter and his crew were professional, polite, responsive and timely. They gave good suggestions and interacted well with my wife and I. Tarps were used, hardware was removed and cleanup was careful.

I'm more pleased than I expected I'd be with the results of PK'S PAINTING. My house is 85 years old, the living room has had wallpaper on it for the 35 years we've lived here because the walls were cracked, gouged and pitted. Peter Baier got right back to me when I emailed, came and did a preliminary look, waited for me to get the ceiling drywalled, came back with a firm estimate, and settled on a convenient day for the work. I was most impressed that he was willing to skim plaster on the walls and patch the bad places when I said I didn't want to re-drywall the whole room. Peter and his crew were great, friendly and professional- they covered everything with plastic and cleaned up afterward. He put a coat of oil based primer first, skimmed plaster, patched the bad spots, sanded and then latex primed the ceiling and walls. He even caulked between the walls and baseboard, which was a much appreciated extra touch on his part. It's an 85 year old house, so the walls are not like new drywall, but they are so much better than I expected, and I am happy to have my original plaster walls. I joined Angie's list to find someone to plaster my walls, and Peter Baier's work makes me glad I did. I recommend PK'S Painting to anyone who needs interior painting, especially if you have an old house worth preserving.

I found PK’s Painting on Angie’s list and asked for an estimate to remove wallpaper and paint several rooms in my house. Peter came out and gave me an estimate, explained what the work entailed and how long it would take. I ended up having Peter and his crew remove wallpaper all throughout the entire house; which was almost every room including the playroom in the basement. Some of the paper came off easily and some did not and thus required patching the drywall. Peter removed two sets of vertical blinds and hung up five curtain rods for me. He also put together and hung my new chandelier in the dining room. Little things caught his eye like painting my doorbell; sanding and repainting the recessed ceiling light near my fireplace, installing missing door stops, sanding and repainting heating/cooling registers, etc. Three tiles were cut and replaced in the drop ceiling in the basement playroom. I also had Peter raise the ceramic tissue holder in the ½ bath. He had to cut the drywall and patch the wall and then repaint it. He even came on a Sunday morning to finish the job as he knew I was expecting company the following Friday. Peter and staff are extremely professional and they clean up each day before they leave the premises. The workmanship of this company is beyond compare. There is not one single item that I could fault them on. In fact, I would hire PK’s Painting again if I had any more rooms left for them to paint. My home is totally transformed; now it reflects my personality and taste and not that of the previous owners. People cannot believe it is the same house and have commented on the workmanship. Peter is very meticulous and would call me to double check my preference before he would proceed with a task. He would also offer suggestions and most of the time I went with his expertise and I am glad that I did. My suggestion to anyone wanting to hire a painting contractor is to go with PK’s Painting even if you have to pay a little extra and/or wait a little longer for him to start the job. Peter and staff are well worth every penny that I had to pay and would gladly do it all over again! My home is truly beautiful now thanks to Peter.

Deck was looking pretty rough before P.K. painting was called in to take it off the gurney. Deck is now looking 20 years younger.

The painters were awesome! They noticed some damage to the ceiling and repaired it for us! I was impressed by the fact that their employee went to Loews and purchased the necessary items to make the repairs.

The job went really well. They were on time. They started missing because I was in the hospital, but the guy was really good with me. They were really prompt when they got around in the beginning of the day and after all that, I was sick and we missed each other. Overall, they did a really good job. They were fast as well. I would use them again in the future if need be.

Peter was very responsive, friendly, and professional. He explained from the start that the exact start date & time may have to vary slightly in response to the weather. He made it clear he was working on finishing up another job and he had to obviously plan around what the weather was doing. While our timeline to get this done was very short I didn't let it take away from the fact that Peter was being open & honest and wanted to do the job he already had on his hands correctly. When it came time for him to work on our house I would hope he would take the correct amount of time to get it right the first time - and he did. He didn't leave until it was completed properly. Initially there was a color match problem because Sherwin-Williams put gray caulk in a tan tube (I saw it with my own eyes) which caused Peter to later use more REAL tan. We had two completely different types of caulk on our house and it was VERY obvious. Peter sprang into action and was on the phone with Sherwin-Williams before I could even ask about it. They had nearly 1/2 of my house done with the wrong caulk when it was finally noticed and he still went back and got it right - ON TIME (actually, early... the job was supposed to take a day & 1/2; they finished in 1 day). I cannot believe how easy it was to work with Peter. He showed up to give me an estimate when I was getting an estimate from another contractor at the same time - he wasn't offended and completely understood. The other contractor made a stink about it. (Come'on man - you obviously know people get more than one estimate). That contractor never called me back after supposedly drawing up the estimate. After his attitude I wouldn't have hired him even if he was $500 cheaper. Peter stayed professional about it and within 5 minutes of him giving us the estimate I told him we wanted him to do the work - there was very little discussion with my spouse because we both were already impressed with Peter's reputation and our initial experience with him. Be wary of people quoting extremely low estimates in comparison with others. We initially hired a guy based in West Seneca who works as a "handyman" called Mr. Fixit. The guy applied the caulk as if he was a 4 year old kid finger painting. Seriously - I took pictures of it and if you Google "Mr. fixit West Seneca" (without quotes) you'll see the pics of what he did to our home under the guise of being a "professional." I'd submit pictures of Peter's quality work but Angie's List doesn't have that feature.

They are excellent and I just like them. I got them from Angie's List last year and used them again this year. They are great and I will use them again in the future. They had guys there working all day and their pricing was reasonable. Some of the spots came back and they came back to redo the areas involved and were very nice. They were very prompt and I will use them again in the future.
