PK's Painting

Initially he had a helper ,but came back periodically to check on how things were progressing. Once work was finished and dried I notice a few spots that needed to be redone. I called and the business owner came out the same day and corrected everything that wasn't done properly by the helper. It looks just as I wanted now and the owner was always agreeable, pleasant and willing to accomodate any concerns I had.

The kitchen remodeling contractor tore out a soffit in my kitchen. The repairs to the ceiling by this contractor (not PK's) was not the best. Peter and his crew repaired the ceiling above and beyond what Peter had expected would be necessary ( he saw the ceiling before work began and didn't know what he would be left with). Peter explained to me that he was a painter, not a carpenter, but I wanted him to do the wall anyway. He did a great job on every aspect of the work. Peter and his crew were at all times very professional, curtious and respectful throughout the project. They were very well organized, explained what they were doing and cleaned up after themselves. They were a pleasure to work with..

Peter was very professional and nice. When he came to give an estimate I could tell he was very knowledgable and took great pride in his work. We scheduled the work, he and his crew were here first thing in the morning, patched all the nail holes, sanded and did general prep work for the painting. I was impressed with the attention to detail he showed they even removed closet doors which I didnt expect. I've recommended them to several of my friends (although just getting around to reviewing on Angie's list now). Some of the paint did bubble, I called Peter and he said he would be happy to come and look at it I just havent gotten around to calling him back to schedule ( my fault). I plan on using him again to finish my first floor maybe in the fall. I highly recommend Peter and his crew.

He was very punctual, courteous and knowledgeable. He explained that the work we wanted done could be done a better way and referred us to another contractor who could assist us with that. We would not hesitate to call PKs for painting estimates in the future.

Wonderful!! They did a beautiful job, made my 60 year old walls look like new. I would highly recommend them for all the interior and exterior work in my home.

He did a great job on my fence and I have now hired him topaint my bedroom. I expect the same good service that I had before Wednesday, 5/15/13

Peter and his crew worked very neatly, professionally, and efficiently, to get the entire house completed in a week. After spending a day or two patching and sanding walls, Peter used our selected Sherwin Williams paint colors and used several coats to cover some tough to conceal colors. In one room, Peter used four coats until he felt the color looked correct. He updated me on progress daily and addressed any concerns I had. If I had any issues (a request for a quick touch up or a bit more plaster), Peter resolved them to my satisfaction and without hesitation. Not only would we recommend PK's Painting to others, we are already waiting on a quote for some additional services we'd like them to provide. Kudos to Peter and his crew for a job well done.

They were very good. They were very professional, on time and very organized. They were great. They did everything good. They were very efficient and nice. They were fair with price. I think I recommended him and they did my son's house.

PK's Painting did a wonderful job, our ceilings look amazing! They arrived promptly at the time scheduled. Pete himself came at the beginning to get the job started and back at the end to finish up. It took a little longer than originally mentioned during the estimate, but that can happen with any job. We have already recommended the company to a friend that needs interior painting done at his house. We will definitley call them back for future jobs! Thanks!

Made appointment and was taken promptly. Found there was a bolt that had fallen out. Fixed problem, took about 45 min.

Peter Baier, PK's Painting, came to our home right after we called him for an estimate on the work that we wanted done. He was very helpful when going over the things needed to be done, gave us suggestions & gave us an estimate a short time later. He recommended that we contact a different company to do the drywall ceiling lowering on 2 rooms; the other company did an outstanding job on the ceilings. When Peter & his crew started the job, shortly after we agreed on the price & right after the ceiling was replaced in the 2 rooms, they worked for 4 days to expertly complete the entire list of things that we wanted done. He & his crew did an outstanding job on all things needed to be fixed, plaster repaired, painted & was able to totally paint an additional room, which we didn't include in the original estimate, at a very reasonable price. Clean up was done. Every one on the crew, including Peter-the boss, were very nice guys.

We chose to go with PKs painting after reading the rave reviews on Angie's List. It was hard to get in touch with them and after I succeeded and received an estimate (which was more drawn-out than necessary), we settled on them and I called to inform them that we wanted them to work on our house. They never called back! If that's not unprofessional I don't know what is.

PeterBaier showed up within an hour of my first call to him to give me an estimate on the work I wanted done. He was very thorough and patient enough to explain all the steps involved in the work that would need to be done. This helped me immensely since I have no knowledge of home repair. He and his crew showed up at 8 am sharp Monday morning and got right to work. They laid out tarps wherever they needed to walk thru the house. All 4 workers were very pleasant and hard working. I was amazed how quickly they had removed that awful popcorn and fixed the cracks in ceiling and the wall. At 4 pm they left for the day after cleaning everything so well. I even had to comment to one of the workers that he cleaned so much better than I did ! I never expected them to wash all my cabinet doors ! Tuesday morning they were here at 8 am - and finished all of the painting and cleaning and were done by about 2:30. They did a fantastic job ! Peter gave me the discount that I printed off of Angie's List, and also gave me a substantial discount because of a mistake that I made explaining one thing that I wanted done- (totally my fault- and it turned out so well anyways). I am so happy that I went with PK's Painting ! Very professional and very friendly ! I am hiring them again this spring to do at least 3 more rooms .

My husband and I decided to join Angie's List this year. We have lived in our house 20 years and have never painted the 1 1/2 story front hall/foyer area because we do not have the correct equipment to reach the top of the walls and especially the structural beam in the foyer. We reviewed three contractors out of the 136 interior painters listed on Angie's List and we chose PK's Painting because he received all A's by his customers. We contacted Peter via phone and he was able to meet with us for the estimate on January 8, 2013 at 4:30 p.m. As it turns out Peter called about 4 p.m. and said he had finished his work for the day and wondered if he could stop by earlier for the estimate. This worked out well because my husband came home while Peter was here and he was able to give Peter his input into the project/estimate. Peter wrote up the estimate and emailed it to us the next day. We communicated with Peter via email and set Wednesday, January 16, 2013 as the date the work would be completed. Peter estimated the work would be finished in one day. On Monday, January 14, 2013 Peter gave me a call at about 6:30 p.m. and let me know he had finished a project earlier than expected and wondered if he and his painters could complete the work needed at my house on Tuesday, January 15, 2013 at 8 a.m. I was available on Tuesday so we rescheduled the work to be done one day earlier than originally scheduled. As promised Peter and three of his painters arrived promptly on Tuesday morning - they were all here by 7:50 a.m. In addition to the work on the estimate, I had asked Peter to remove one of the light fixtures my husband was not able to remove in preparation for the walls being painted. This was no problem for Peter and his painters. Peter and his painters brought in their tarps and equipment needed to complete the project. They set up and started work immediately on patching the walls and taking care of the nail pops. Peter and his three painters worked steadily throughout the day. They all worked together well and were respectful to each other and our home. The work was completed by 1 p.m. After looking over the project with Peter, only one touch up was needed along the wainscoting. This was taken care of immediately. Peter and his painters were very easy to work with on this project. I was able to give them the leftover paint from the adjoining wall so it could be cut in with the newly painted walls. We are so glad this project is done. Thank you Peter and crew for getting it done quickly.

Work was originally scheduled to start on December 21st so that we could list the house on January 1st. We were worried it would overlap into Christmas, but when Peter had an opening 2 days earlier in his schedule, he called us, and we started right away! His team was fantastic - reliable, professional, tidy, and just lovely to work with. They had a lot of unexpected hurdles - paper that was hung on original wall board, and then paper that was originally hung with gallons of extra glue. It was a mess, but they came in right on budget, having planned for the contingencies based on their experience. For an extra $150, he evened out the pock-marked ceiling in the master bath and painted over it. And the job was completed a week before Christmas - in plenty of time for us to decorate and put up the tree. I would hire Peter and his crew again and again, and am only sorry they don't work where our new house is located out of state. It was a pleasure to work with P&K Painting, and I would highly recommend them.

Although it is called PK's Painting, the company description states it does light carpentry (plus a few other things I did not need). I was quite impressed with his reviews, so even though I had read the listings of several other businesses minutes earlier, this was the first place I called. My initial call there put me in touch with owner Peter, not a message taker as I expected. After I gave him a summary of the job, he said he was not far away that day and offered to come over to give an estimate that evening. He did exactly that, said it would take about an hour, gave a price at $60 to $70 and I agreed immediately. He said he figured he would work it in late Saturday morning, after he finished another job his crew had spent a few days on. He said he would call after their work was done Friday; he would know when the last touches on that big job would be completed Saturday. He did not call Friday, even after I called him and spoke to his voice mail. He did call Saturday around noon and said the other job was taking longer than he expected. He offered to do mine Sunday morning and be done before the Bills' game, if it was OK with me. I made sure it was OK with him, he'd be the one working a seventh day. It was fine. He called Sunday morning, we confirmed it was a go and he showed up as promised 20 minutes later. He went right to work, did a solid job and was done in about an hour and five minutes, including his time sweeping up sawdust. He asked for $70, I gave a little more. I recommend him and I would use him again. I have 2 functional doors again, just like I wanted. Now if only the Bills didn't lose later on.

The estimate was completed within 2 days, and the work was completed within 2 weeks as planned. All work was completed in one day and is the best paint job I have ever seen. The owner was in constant contact with me throughout the entire job. The job cleanup was as if they were never there. This was a very positive experience for my family and I would highly recommend this company. Even though the cost was more that the other 2 estimates, the quality was well worth it. They were also very trustworthy to allow them into my home without me being there to complete the work.

Peter and his crew arrived right on time, and did not hesitate to start work. Peter kept me informed as how the process was going the entire time. They definately went above and beyond our expectations. They final product came out looking great.

Peter responded to my e-mail immediately for some minor projects to help me update my bathroom. Peter took the cabinet down and had the wall patched with new drywall. Then he installed the new lighting fixture for me. I was very pleased with his level of professionalism and the quality of work. I plan to have him do more projects in the near future.
