Dear member, I see that we were out to you home in April of 2014 for a preliminary consultation to look at various projects: Construct 6' x 41' covered front porch and new rear deck. Construct new half bath in garage. Completely remodel kitchen, including wall removal. Install new roofing and vinyl siding to the entire house. I see that we supplied a preliminary budget proposal. I also see that we didn’t get any further then talking about budget, since we do not have any detailed proposals for any of the mentioned project. I am sorry to hear that you scored Ivy Lea with an overall grade of F. I see that Ivy Lea did not fit into your budget due to the fact we never actually costed out any individual projects for you. Description of Work: They tore off old rotten sideing and under layment. Replaced underlayment with marine plywood, put rainshield over it then replaced siding with cedar boards,as I requested. Workers said I did not need rainshield, but I pointed out to them that it was in the contract, so they complied. Date of service was around 2007, but not sure without looking up contract. They are expensive,so shop around. If you can find someone with a good reputation for a lower price take them. Advise get several estimats, 5 to 7 go with the ones in the middle. For sure do not go with the cheepest one you will be truly sorry. I do not remember price

I am glad to hear that you have been very satisfied with our work. To date, I see that we have not had any warranty calls on your project. Glad to see everything has been performing as promised. Ivy Lea agrees with you make sure to get 3-4 est.. for each project, you are having performed on your home. Make sure to check with the better Business Bureau and also on Angie List to make sure your know who you are hiring. Make sure your contractor is licensed and has insurance for your project. Make sure your contractor has liability insurance, workers comp insurance. Also check with your local building department to make sure they have a current valid license. This will be sure, to keep your family, and your largest investment, your home, covered 100%. " While it is unwise to pay to much.... it's also unwise to pay too little. Deep down we all know it's a mistake to think that you can buy great for the price of " good enough". The common law of business balance prohibits paying too little and getting a lot, it can't be done. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it's well to add something for the risk you run. IVY LEA is great!
Description of Work: Our screen door handle snapped off, possibly due to the cold. Made a simple phone call, the secretary placed a work order for it and within a few days a repair person was here!
