They were excellent. They were informative rather than site head of 2-3 others coming. I appreciated the way rather than just being high pressured. They seemed well-informed and would give you different estimates for different options. I was pleased, especially once you start to have a variety of people come in and the difference that could be seen. I don’t really like high-pressure from those people. It was probably several weeks ago and we got the estimates a few weeks ago. I have not call them back yet but I bet there is a very good chance that we will use them at least for some of the windows. We just found we can’t afford to all of it right now.

The siding on one side of our home blew off during a windy spring storm. Ivy Lea sent a estimator who indicated that the whole side of the home should be replaced due to difficulty matching the color of the siding to the older panels that were still on the house. My insurance adjuster agreed. I asked the adjuster if I needed to get additional estimates and he said that unless I had concerns personally, that I should be fine with the estimate as Ivy Lea is very reputable and known for doing a good job. Ivy Lea's office kept in touch on when they would be out to do the job. It was a loose timeframe, so I called to confirm the start date and they were really good about calling back to confirm the exact date. The siding was delivered to our home and the work crew was there within minutes of the delivery. They completed the job in two days. They did a great job, the siding looks good as new and the coloring match is perfect. The siding was replaced on a side where there is a partial wraparound porch and all of the details where the siding meets the partial brick front, etc. were done well. They cleaned up any debris and put leftover panels of siding below my side porch. The estimator had pointed out some panels on the back of the house that were not popped in as they should be, as well as a cracked panel that was likely damaged when our lawn service passed too closely to the house when turning the corner. The crew took care of these details as well, replacing the cracked panel with a piece salvaged from the old side panels so that the color match would be best and popping back a couple of panels that were not flush as they should be. Everything went well and our house siding looks great. I am glad to have found a reputable company that I feel I can trust.

A rubber roof was installed over a tin/metal roof that had become ridden with pinholes. The ceiling of the indoor porch below was leaking. The contact came, snapping his gum, and telling me what he'd do, not what did I want done. He was very arrogant. He told me the time frame and what he would do and gave me the estimate. Then his crew did exactly that, including painting the ceiling and walls of the lower porch. I felt bullied, and felt that the price was VERY high.

It turned to be excellent. I will grade them A+. They were very professional and very knowledgeable. It is easy to get hold of the people in the office. The two guys who came down did the smoothing of the concrete. They were very friendly. They don't make their own concrete, and they buy from somebody else; but they were very particular about the quality of the concrete. It wasn't mixed until it was ready to be used. Other companies don't do that. They are a little more expensive; but the quality is worth it. I got what I paid for.

It went very, very well. Communication from the office staff and the project supervisor was excellent. Very professional approach from all. Care was taken to cover carpets; remove dust & debris throughtout the duration of work; and any exposed openings over night. They are a top-notch company and I would recommend them to anyone. I chose them over a lower estimate because of their reputation and the original impression of knowledge or making things right. You do get what you pay for and if your job is of a major importance, you do need to with check Ivy Lea.

They never even followed up and that was absolutely astronomical when compared to others. I didn’t like them because their price was double the price than others. I would not consider in using them again in the future.

Their estimate was at least twice as much as everyone else so we will not be using them. They were professional and timely, but they are out of our price range.

I discussed the scope of the project above. But, I did leave out that they provided plumbing for laundry service in the bathroom and a nice row of cabinets/pantry like on the outside wall of the new bathroom. This area is just off my kitchen so it is very handy. They provided lots of choices in terms of fixtures, cabinets etc.

They had to come into our home 3 times. Once to do the measurements, the second time was to deliver three options of what we could do, even though we told him the first time exactly what we wanted. The estimate wasn't detailed. The third time to give the final estimate. It was quite a drawn out process to get the final quote.

My experience with them went very well. They were very professional. When I called, they would get back to me immediately. They came when they said they would come. They were quick. The staff was fine. I thought that their pricing was a little high, but it was worth it. I would recommend them to anybody.

This was the 2nd company I called for an estimate for work to be performed in repairing significant damage to my house as the result of a car hitting it. I was told that since this would be an insurance claim that they don't do free estimates. I'm left feeling that they don't want my business.

Very professional. There is a guarantee displayed on their contracts and based on the experience with the estimate provided, I have no doubt that they would do a good job. I would consider using their services for a larger remodeling job, but for the small repair needed, I was able to find a lower estimate which allowed me to keep the cost low enough that I did not have to file an insurance claim for the repair.

I wanted a small half bathroom remodeled. The evaluation and quote process went smoothly and the work was scheduled. They helped my find more of the hardwood floor I already had ts they would be able to re-do the floor as I was switching from a vanity sink to a pedestal sink. The work went smoothly except for the hardwood floor as the manufacturer had switched the design of the floor requiring an additional amount to be needed. We had originally expected that the left over flooring I had from the original install would be able to be used to cover the entire area. Once the additional flooring came in, the install was completed promptly.

I was a little skeptical about the work being done in cold weather, but everything went well. The workers were very punctual, arriving early in the morning. I was notified if they were going to be late. Their original estimate was the highest among the contractors I contacted, but I choose Ivy Lea because of their fine reputation, and the fact that they would take care of other repairs or problems I had...not just replacing my siding. All in all, it was a good experience. In August of 2010, they replaced a piece of soffit that had blown off during very high winds. They did it promptly...no charge.

They were on time and professional. Their quote was high. They are not lowballers, but they are not the most expensive either. They have a decent reputation in the area. I have no complaints at all.

Crew did an outstanding job! The work was completed in a professional manner. The crew members were knowledgeable, polite, and very competent. Reasonably priced.

Jam and Chuck were very professional, courteous and friendly. Worked hard and completed job on time. We love our new bathroom.

Based on their poor customer service at the estimate step I would not hire them to actually perform work.

We didn?t go with them because their quote was a lot higher than the other quotes that we got. I am pretty sure they got back to me pretty quickly. The problem with them was that they said it was a free estimate, but it was an oral estimate and not a written one. Also they gave me a price and didn?t give me a break down of the same. It was kind of ambiguous at that point. These were the reasons that we didn?t go with them.

Two requests for estimate. No follow-up by the company. Went with different contractor.

The estimate process started in late August. They provided reduced financing for a portion, so that took some time. We hashed out the design and then went to suppliers for choosing all items, cabinets etc. We then waited for a while for the materials and supplies to arrive as lots was special order. They began framing around the first week of November and completed the job by the first week of December. They were open to a few changes and minor request like a small electric baseboard heater and the under cabinet lights etc. They were very communicative, called if they were hung up on another job in the day. The daily clean up was good and the project was huge (for us) and it went just about 3 or four days longer than expected. But, that was not a big problem. I did the painting to save on some of the labor. It is a great addition to the house and I am sure took the overall value of the property up as it did not have a full bath or laundry on the first floor, The trim work and fine carpentry was matched perfectly with the other details in the house. We are very happy!

I might use if something comes up in an emergency, but otherwise no.

Very well, extremely punctual, showed up every day, the president stayed in contact through out the project.

The estimate was fine, the associate was very knowledgeable and professional. I'm sure this company does excellent work. However, their estimate came in at more than twice what the next highest roofer suggested. When an estimate comes in that high, it seems like you're just trying to take advantage of people who don't know better.

They were extremely efficient. They came with a crew of about 6-7 men, and within just over 48 hours the entire job was complete. They were very professional, both prior to the work itself (estimate, etc.) and during the actual work time. They kept all appointments on time. Once, when running late, they notified me ahead. They cleaned everything up - no problems at all.
