ICS CONTRACTING

The project took 13 months, where at the writing of this review, some work is still not complete. ICS (Dave Martin) did none of the work, rather everything was sub-contracted to a "friend" (Jason Pachla) who in turn hired unskilled labor (helpers) for the roof, windows, siding and overhang construction. At many times during the project, the unskilled labor was left un-attended and without proper supervision / direction. Each day of the project, there was a new "helper' on the job site. The job site was continually a mess, where to this day, we still find nails and debris around the property. The house was left "un-protected" during the winter of 2011, where water infiltration caused the underlayment to warp and mold. The quality of work was very very low, where the sub-contracted people were asked to leave the job site, so as to avoid further mistakes. We do not recommend the services provided by ICS Contracting, ICS Construction, Dave Martin or Jason Pachla, as the quality of work is sub-standard, not up to code and doesn't follow generally accepted buidling practices.

Dave does construction and he is very good. He is also very meticulous. I was watching him work from the kitchen window and he would measure and re-measure making sure he was correct. The charge for the installation was included with the cost of the shed and I can t recall what that was.
