Description of Work: We had wallpaper removed from our living and dining area. Once removed which was very fast, we needed our walls painted in the living/dining area, 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The job was quoted to be completed in about a week or two. Part of the problem was that he would come over, whenever and leave and then not work on weekends so it dragged out for over a month. I have to admit we were part of the problem as we had just moved in and we had many projects all going on at the same time and our house was not very neat as far as his working space. The quality of his work was questionable as my husband paid him along the way and refused to pay him the final amount unless he fixed many things that were sloppy. Would not use him again. He also works another job in the evening and even mentioned that he is not enjoying painting much anymore. I think he underestimated the job and regretted starting it.

Description of Work: Dave stripped the wallpaper in our bathroom, filled and sanded all the crackes and dents and the painted.

Description of Work: Unfortunately, we set an appointment time for an estimate of our job - the service provider never showed up - or called to re-schedule. I can honestly say I would never recommend anyone who can't follow through with a phone call to re-schedule or apologize at least, especially since I waited an entire afternoon for him to show up.

 + -1 moreDave was very professional, friendly, reliable, and did a very good job overall. His estimate was reasonable and he started and completed the job according to schedule and his estimate. I would definitely call on him again.
Description of Work: Dave removed wallpaper in a dining room, kitchen, hallway, and bathroom. He then cleaned woodwork (frames, molding, and cabinets in kitchen), primed ceilings and walls, and painted parts of living room and all of the dining room, kitchen, hallway, and bathroom.

Description of Work: Excellent work. Very helpful moving heavy furniture. Caulked separations between walls and window frames. Filled holes where necessary. Highly recommended.

 + -1 moreDaves Wallpapering and Painting has done work for me many times for over the last twelve years. Occasionally there is a helper, but usually the owner does his own work. He is very neat, tidy, and does a beautiful job. He takes his time, and his prices are very reasonable.
Description of Work: Daves Wallpapering and Painting painted three different rooms in my home.
