wow... just wow. It is truly unbelievable the quality of work these guys do. I just had them come in and refinish my hardwood floors and the job was 10 star. I have two dogs and three kids. Our floors were in rough shape at the back door and the main entrance (garage door). These guys made it look like fresh newly installed hardwood. I can't believe they didn't have to replace any wood. It's smooth, perfect in every way! The people that work for this company are amazing. I've dealt with contractors before and I have never seen this level of customer service and talent. If you have the opportunity to hire them, you should book them as soon as Dennis comes out to see you.

We had two different crews each week. Both did an excellent job. They showed up early and spent the first two days of each week doing all of the sanding. They do a really good job of minimizing the dust. The second story was completed first. Week two was for the first floor. We had taken out a wall to open up the kitchen and they did a great job of filling in the space with a very good quality matching red oak. They are just finishing up with the second and third coat downstairs and I couldn't be more pleased with how they look. They are just gorgeous. They were all very hard workers, very professional, polite, and they paid attention to all the details. All in all this was a very good experience and I would definitely call this company again. In fact I plan to in the near future when we put in new hardwood floors in our other house.

The repairs (some of which were very difficult) went seamlessly. The crews were efficient and friendly. The process was as dust free as they could make it. They had quite a job they were facing, and did excellent work. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a repair or refinishing need. I am extremely happy with this work.

Our job went very well. The crew that worked on our floor was very professional, prompt, friendly and courteous. We were very satisfied with the finished floor. The process takes awhile but the end result is worth it. They did not rush and wanted to make sure the job was done right. Overall, this company exceeded our expectations.

The quote amount was about $2400. He was a little busy and so it took him some time to come out.

I found this company on Angie’s list along with a couple of others we planned to call for an estimate on refinishing our hardwood floors. Archie Donoughe was the first company I called from my list. When Dennis came to give us an estimate on the cost, he was so nice, informative and honest; we felt we didn’t need to call the other two companies on our list. We pulled up the wall to wall carpet that was there since we bought the house back in 1999. The hardwood floors underneath looked to be in really good shape, but since we didn’t know much about refinishing we thought we were going to have to have them completely sanded down and recoated. When Dennis saw our floors he suggested a light sand just to remove the top surface and one to two coats of polyurethane. He didn’t think we would need the 2nd coat, but if we thought we needed it they would come and put it on. Dennis could have told us we had to completely sand down and refinish the floors and we would not have known any better. Because of his honesty we saved a lot of money and hassle of not having use of and frac12; the house for longer time than necessary. The guys who came and did the actual work on the floor were just as friendly and informative as Dennis. They were punctual and went above and beyond to make my floors look as nice as they could. When they returned to move our furniture back into the living room, my husband and I could not be home so we left them a check for the amount quoted on the estimate. A couple of days later my husband received a call from Dennis explaining we had overpaid and the actual charges were slightly less than anticipated. How about that for honesty?! I would call this family owned business again and have already recommended them to several friends.

Excellent service and expert work. They worked around our schedule and communicated frequently on the status of the work. Very neat and professional. Almost no dust! Quote was very competitive with others. We were actually charged less than the quote since it took them less time to repair the floor than quoted.

The flooring looks gorgeous. I thought the company did a superb job. I have already recommended them to other people. He is honest, low priced, hardworking, and he pays attention to detail. My mother used him for her hardwood refinishing job as well. I was so pleased with the outcome of her floors that I hired him.
