Marty from John Sparrow first visited us in the Fall of 2012. He gave us a proposal and was very nice to work with. We ended up deciding to do the front yard first and the backyard second. I used a different landscaper for the front yard and wanted to use John Sparrow for the backyard. Marty called a year later to check in and asked where we were with our landscaping. We were ready to do the backyard, so I had him come back to do a new proposal in mid-march. He said he'd send the proposal the following weekend. No proposal. I gave it another 2 weeks and then left 3 messages with John Sparrow over the course of one week with explaining that I was worried Marty had written down my email wrong and asked that someone called me back. I didn't receive one call back - not one. Finally I found Marty's cell phone number from the year before and called him. He picked up, but seemed very surprised that I called him.d I asked if he'd sent the proposal - he said he had and that I should email him so he'd make sure my address was right. I emailed and his email bounced back as a non-reachable address. I called him and left a message explaining what had happened. I have not received one return call from John Sparrow to date and no promised proposal. This was a very disappointing experience, especially because I had really like Marty and was excited for John Sparrow to landscape our backyard this month. I guess they didn't want my business, but it would have been nice to have a phone call back letting me know. Sincerely, Very Disappointed
