Artisan Grout Options

Tom is a true professional. He honestly described the services he would be able to and not be able to provide. He was extremely responsive and flexible. As for the work, Tom arrived on time, did an excellent job removing the grout from our kitchen counters and master shower, matched the color of the remaining grout and replaced grout adding a thin layer of silicone to protect against future water damage. He was forced to make one or two unexpected repairs where the grout opening was very large and he took longer than he planned to do the work. Despite this, Tom honored his existing estimate without question. If only all contractors worked this way!

The job went fairly smooth. One full bath had a replacement vanity, leaving a small portion of floor without tile. we found some matching tile and Cory filled it in. tiles in all tub areas and showers were spotless. Excellent job

Tom is a total professional and his craftsmanship was incredible. The total process took 10 hours but the outcome was a total transformation of our upstairs bathroom. He scrapped out all of the old red grout and re-grouted the entire bathroom with white grout. It looks like a brand new bathroom. I will definitely recommend him to friends and neighbors.

Tom was punctual, incredibly professional and a true gentleman. He accommodated our schedule by coming on a Sunday which he absolutely didn't have to do. When Tom arrived he laid down drop cloths to keep the place neat and protect the rest of the area. He then immediately got to work and continued to work, without a break, until he was finished. We were so impressed with his work ethic, his attention to detail and the work he performed. The grout came out perfect! It is exactly what we wanted. We will definitely be calling Tom again. I highly recommend him!

The service was fabulous! Tom kept us informed of any problem areas and he explained each step of the repairs. He was able to reset my ceramic tiles and regrout the floor. My floor is perfect. I'm so happy that I didn't have to replace the whole thing since my house is only 6 years old and tiles should not be popping up. I highly recommend this company and I have scheduled another day with Tom for other bathroom repairs.

Called Tom on a Tuesday and he was at my house the following day to quote the job. I have to say that he was a consummate professional who was meticulous in his examination of the job, extremely thorough in explaining what needed to be done and more than fair in his pricing so much so that we hired him on the spot. He arrived the day of the job at exactly the time we agreed upon and he immediately went to work. When he emerged 8 hours later, our bathroom shower never looked better! Needless to say we couldn't be happier with his work and along with every other reviewer on Angie's List, would highly recommend Tom for your next job

From beginning to end Artisan Grout Works was incredible. After encountering so many dishonest and unreliable people in this business they were a breathe of fresh air. Tom replied to my call promptly and immediately set up a day to come and give me an honest. When he arrived he took notes on all the work I wanted done (which was a lot) and he was very thorough and detail oriented. I hired him on the spot. Tom showed up to work on time with his worker Corey and together they finished all of the jobs I wanted done in one day. They literally worked hard all day. Corey was very meticulous in his work and you can tell they both take pride in what they do. They explained how they would do everything and they actually care about doing a good job which is refreshing. All the work they did came out better than I had hoped. My kitchen and basement floor look brand new! I highly recommend them.

...Corey came right on time, and started to work right away. He did a beautiful job restoring the grouting and caulk, making it look like new. While waiting for the grout to dry he snaked out the slow drain in the shower and sink for free.He also cleaned up after and left no sign of him being there other than a great looking shower and tub. Corey is a nice guy who does great work. I have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone.If I ever need work on my tiles or shower again I would call Tom and Corey right away.

Corey arrived on Wednesday morning, 7/23 at the appointed time and did an awesome job! He was courteous, extremely neat and clean with the work and was really so great to work with. While he was here, we asked him to check the other bathroom in the guest room, which we found was also a problem. We needed to schedule the next job with Tom and while he was here, we asked about the tiles on the floor which were getting chipped and the grout was in need of repair. Tom and Corey both came on Saturday, 8/2 and Corey regrouted the tiles upstairs and Tom resealed and fixed the tiles in all the bathrooms and our laundry room. I would recommend Tom and Corey anytime. They were great to work with, courteous, responsive to our needs and we have handed out their card to a few neighbors. We would be happy to recommend them to anyone at anytime. A definite A+++ experience.

Corey did an excellent job regrouting and sealing shower and shower doors. Price was right and done in a timely manner. Highly recommend them

We found him on Angie's List. He was really good. He saved both of our floors, and I can't say enough good about him. It took him a week of coming in the morning to complete the job. He worked harder than any of the other contractors that we had here. He was always on time, and we worked, so he came at all ungodly hours to accommodate our work schedule. He worked really hard, and he did a fantastic job. The floor looks as good, or even better than we first put it down. He was very punctual. I looked at Angie's List, and I looked at the recommendations, and he came highly recommended, that is why we went with him. It was mostly him, and he sometimes had a helper. The pricing was fair.

Tom showed up on time as we agreed upon. He spent the entire day from 8 am to 4:30 pm working on our master bath with no lunch break. He removed a cracked tile, cut and replaced it with a new one. Tom removed the old cracked grout and replaced it with new grout in our shower stall and around our spa tub. Then he color sealed the entire area so the grout would be uniform in color. After that Tom siliconed everything that needed to be siliconed. He was very friendly, yet very professional. We will hire him again in the future when our second bath needs to be done.

Corey arrived as scheduled on July 23 & went right to work, The only 2 times he stopped were to ask me where a plug was-(we have none in the BR) & when he had to wait for the floor to dry before finishing up. Corey is a machine, he turned his work mode switch on 2 minutes after he got here & he turned it off almost 6 hours later when he finished. When he was done he took me upstairs to show me the work, 3 words-"WOW, WOW, WOW!!" It looked FANTASTIC. evrywhere I looked, it looked brand new. Corey is so thorough & meticulous, he not only did every inch of regrouting & sealing he said he was gonna do, he did behind the toilet, around the window & other areas. I can't say enough about how hard Corey worked & what a great job he did. Attached are some pics before & after. I just want to say I have over 20 reviews of contractors I have used off of this list. Some were good, some werre bad & some a few were great. Artisan grout was & is one of the great ones. I encourage Angies list members to write detailed reviews of when a provider is Great & when they are Bad. Also use Pictures to help tell your story. If I were to write a 2 sentence review, you would not get just how good a job Corey & Artisan Grout did. I hope by reading my review & seeing my B4 & After pics, you'll understand what you'll be getting when you make your decision to hire or not hire them, hopefully you will. I plan on calling Tom & getting another estimate for my other bathroom. Big thanks to Tom & Corey. We are very happy with your work.

We decided to use Tom based on the reviews and recommendations on Angie's List. When I called him he immediately scheduled an appointment for an estimate. He came on time, looked over the work we needed and gave a fair price for the job. He was friendly and knowledgeable. He described exactly what he would do and then gave us his card and left the decision for us to make in private. (No hard selling, which we appreciate.) Almost immediately after he left we decided to go with Tom. We scheduled the work for a day that worked for my wife to be home. Unfortunately that date ended up not working for Cory (Tom's associate) due to some unforeseen circumstances. Tom called and offered several options for us including Saturday and even Sunday! We rescheduled and Tom came to do the work himself. Tom called to let us know when to expect him and arrived on time. He unloaded his truck and removed his shoes to walk through the house (even though we didn't mind if he had left them on.) He got right to work, laying down a quilt to protect the tile floor and worked tirelessly for over 3 hours. He was neat, professional, and friendly throughout the job. After he was done he loaded his truck back up and showed us his handiwork. He explained what products to use on the shower to clean it without ruining the grout and even told us where to go to get it. As soon as he was done we were recommending him to family members. My sister and sister-in-law both want some work done and will be calling Tom.

Tom is a pleasure to deal with. He's responsive and really spent the time to help me select the right color. Corey who did the actual work did an amazing job. He worked non stop and is an absolute perfectionist. He left my house immaculate. The floors look brand new and I couldn't be happier with the results.

He was very good. He seemed to be knowledgeable. He did a very nice job. He was very neat.

Tom worked non stop for ten hours, half the time with his partner Cory. Clean, polite, hardworking. The results are beautiful. Totally responsive, from scheduling an estimate to actual work. Very pleased, don't hesitate.

It went great. Tom was a pleasure to talk to on the phone. Very friendly and accommodating. to, came to the house to give me an estimate. i agreed to have him do the work. it was going to be a 2 day job. we set up a date a few weeks away. He called the day before to confirm the time that he was to arrive the following day. He arrived with his coworker at 7 am as we had agreed. THey both went right to work and worked diligently throughout the entire day until they completed their goals for the day. They didn't leave until about 7 pm and were back the next morning at 7 am to complete the job.. Tom would occasionally ask me questions and would keep me abreast of their progress. He wanted to make sure that I was completely satisfied with his work before he left. Tom and Corey did and excellent job. My Mexican tile looks beautiful and my bathrooms look better than new. I would definitely hire them back Tom has my highest recommendation! If you need your grout or tile repaired or cleaned, sealed etc. please call Tom. You will be so happy that you did! This was the first time I ever met or did business with Tom and I was very impressed!

iI called for an estimate and he came the next night. Mr. Tom Dixon is very professional and knows what he is doing.He arrived to do the job on time and spend about 8 hours working. He did an excellent job and the tiles look brand new. I would use him again.

He was great, they really did a nice job.Good job, nice guy, reliable, showed up on time, sounds simple but its not.

Tom Nixon responded to my call, inspected and gave me an estimate within hours. Cory James completed the work the next day. Cory is talented and very thorough. The job was finished within 24 hours of my initial call. Cory took extra time to clear old sealant and caulk.

Tom arranged to come for an estimate as soon as I phoned him. He was friendly, polite and professional. When our schedules conflicted, he was the one who followed up with me until we could settle on a convenient time. In viewing the project, he seemed quite knowledgeable and was confident that he could repair all the unsightly deterioration ( due to age, mold, and water damage) in our 23 year old bathtub area. Two days before the work was to be done, Tom called to notify us that due to an emergency, He would be sending one of his workmen, Corey, in his place, and assured us that he was equally talented and professional. On the morning of the work day, Corey arrived promptly, assessed the project and confidently assured us that all would be taken care of as per our contract with Tom. He worked non stop for the next 6 hours. Upon completion, the bathtub area looked brand new! Corey explained to us all he had done, told us to refrain from using the tub and shower for 48 hours, and advised us on the proper care and cleaning, using only natural products and a sponge. As he departed, he told us not to hesitate to call him if we discovered anything needed further attention. Throughout the entire process he worked neatly, was self-sufficient, courteous and friendly. I will definitely call upon Artisan Grout Options for any future projects and would not hesitate recommending them to friends and family:)

Mr. Nixon was very professional every step of the way. Set up an estimate appointment for a couple of days after my call; arrived on time. Went over the areas needing repair, explained the best way to resolve all concerns. Set up a date to do the work and arrived promptly; picked up the grout that was originally used in the bathroom so it would match as close as possible. Was very careful and clean, laying tarps down to protect the flooring, offered to remove his shoes. Had an injury to his hand so he brought an assistant who was equally professional. They worked for 5 hours without a break. They were both gentlemen and wonderful to work with. The job looked beautiful when completed. I would absolutely use Mr. Nixon again in the future and recommend him to others.

I literally couldn't wait to write this review as I was so impressed by Artisan Grout (Tom Nixon) and their excellent work. From estimate to the completion of the work, Tom was punctual, communicative, and professional. Tom responded within hours of my initial call for an estimate and came the next day. Tom was very knowledgeable about the work and made me feel extremely at-ease with his capabilities. We agreed on a date/time and he promised to call the night before to remind me. Sure enough, the night before I got a friendly reminder call. Tom arrived the next morning on time and immediately began work. Tom was very considerate with removing his shoes and placing down protective tarps for his tools and supplies to not damage flooring. Tom was extremely diligent and did not take any breaks in the 5 hours he was working on the job. He worked extremely hard and refused to rest until I was happy with the final product - which I am very happy with. Thanks Tom for a great job!
