Tom did a great job. He went above and beyond not to mention my floors look brand new!!!! I will be using him again and referring him to EVERYONE I know!!!

Tom was right on time and went right to work He was meticulous, removing existing discolored grout and caulking. The shower stall looked like new after he finished.

Tom Nixon always returned our phone calls. He showed up ten minutes early on the day of the job......you just never see people showing up early any more. His work was spectacular. The floor looks like new. While his estimate seemed a little high we agreed that it was a fair price for the results we got. If anyone asks us for a recommendation we will enthusiastically give one.

A+++++++ TOM NIXON IS AMAZING. I have never before saw someone with such professionalism & degree of perfection as Tom. I had a tile floor put down that was sealed (porcelain which SHOULD NOT be sealed) & it was horrendous. streaks, bubbles, even paint sealed on to it. I literally lost sleep over how horrible it looked. Tom was the only Brave Soul to taken on the horrific job of removing it. & removed he did right back to its original beauty with such dedication & determination putting more time and effort to make sure the floor was returned to its original state. If you are lucky enough to find Tom & hire him you too can expect a 150% job done by one of the most talented, cheerful, wonderful & professional tradesman i have every met. He also restored one of our bathroom floors to perfection. Key word here is PERFECT, which is the work you can expect from Tom. I cant thank Tom enough for the unbelievable job he did for us.

I called for an estimate, as I had wanted several quotes. Tom Nixon called me back within hours of my call. We set up a date for him to come over to see the job. I had already gotten one estimate, so I wanted to see what he had to offer. OMG, I can't tell you how great the deal was. His price was 1/2 the cost of the other estimate for exactly the same work. I also needed someone who would work with me on achieving the exact colors I wanted for each room. He gave me a color chart that looked just like the paint charts. I called him with my choices and he dropped off the samples. (five of them-in little bottles). Well, I could not get the proper color I wanted for my family room. Before we made the date to do the job, he came over to my house and literally spent over 2 hours mixing various colors to get the desired color I wanted. (It came out perfect-he wouldn't charge me for his time)) He is very patient, courteous and fun to do business with. He was punctual, neat and very organized. I had to go to work when he was about half way through the job. My husband was home, but I would not have had any problem leaving him in the house alone. The final result, all the floors look brand new. The kitchen tiles are down close to twenty years, family room thirteen years and the bathroom, ten years. The concept of just redoing the grout may seem trivial, but you cannot believe the difference-changes the whole look of each room. By the way, Tom is really, really busy, but he does his best to get you on the schedule. I would highly recommend him.

The owner, Tom, came to to give an estimate on a Friday evening, at my convenience. From the first impression he projects himself as being good-natured, courteous and pleasant to work with. Tom and his assistant performed work on a Saturday, arriving a few minutes early. While moving equipment into the house, they protected the floor and stairs with drop cloths and were obviously making sure not to hit the walls. They also removed their shoes and closed the door behind them when entering and exiting the house, which demonstrates that Artisan Grout is a conscientious contractor who respect their clients and their client's home. Tom is also a true businessman who strives to put his clients first. The grout work itself was of excellent quality and left our bathroom looking refreshed, and almost new--You can really see the difference! We are extremely pleased with the results and have already recommended Artisan Grout Options to friends and family.

Tom was great. Showed on a very snowy day on-time. Was a pleasure to deal with. And did all that I wanted and more. He is a real craftsman for grout. Really, really liked this guy. For sure hire him. Basically, my showers and baths now look brand new.

I found Tom through another website over a year ago, and was impressed with his professionalism. He gave me an estimate to repair the grout and loose tiles after another contractor destroyed the grout to repair it and then disappeared. At the time money was low, so I put the estimate away for over a year. When I recently called him again to finally get the work done he did remember me, and he kept the original estimate. He did not charge me extra, which he could have done considering the time lapse, but he honored the original estimate. He arrived exactly when he said he would, and he worked nonstop form 8-4pm. He did not take a break, not even to eat lunch, and he left my space the same way he found it. He is one of the most professional and honorable contractors that I have had the pleasure of working with, and he left the door open to come back to fix anything that did not meet with my satisfaction. I was blown away by how beautiful the floor looked. I found myself just looking at it for a long time because the prior work (or lack of work) left me emotionally drained. In one day, he restored my faith in the fact that there are honorable contractors who won't try to take advantage of a bad situation. Every other contractor I called to get a price to fix the floor said I would need a completely new floor. Tom was honest that eventually that may be the case, but he would at least fix it so that I would not have to deal with that issue in the near future. If he reads this, I just want him to know that I so appreciate what he did to bring life back to a lifeless floor. I know this is long, but he definitely deserves the kudos.

He arrived on time, as he always does, was clean and took his time, the bathroom looks fantastic now with the stall shower done, because the tiles were getting moldy and dirty and needed to be done.

They showed up on time and they did the work that they were supposed to do. They were very good. I had an issue with something but they came back and fixed it right away. Their price made me choose them. I have no complaints with them whatsoever.

Tom arrived punctually and walked in prepared to apply samples of colors I thought would look good. He worked on his estimate for a few minutes after doing the samples and gave then rendered his estimate. After discussing how long the job would take, how the resealing would holdup in time, cleaning instructions, whom would be performing the actual work, and a number of other pre-screening questions, I elected to go with Tom and negotiated the price. Once I knew he would be doing the work personally, I suspected that's how he got those muscles, and I was right on. No offense intended to homeowners out there, but as a retired developer, I know the questions to ask and the expectations to establish with any contractor that's bidding on my work, unfortunately, that's not a talent that is possessed by the common homeowner. Tom mannerism and work ethic was beyond refreshing, a no nonsense type A personality that has unrelenting energy. No didn't chit chat with the other tradesmen that were working on in my home, just non-stop working, I can't remember the last time I experienced someone work in such a dedicated manner. The end result was outstanding, the bathrooms look like new, only the colors of the fixtures give them away, since innocent blush is a dated color that was very cool 20 years ago, when I built our home. The actual price was 1K after negotiation, but after seeing how much detail he put into his work and how hard he worked, I would have felt like a heal not to give him the extra two hundred that I originally chewed him down on, as a thank you. I don't believe the outcome could have been any better, my wife and I couldn't be more pleased. As a professional, I vouch for the quality of the work and the veracity of Tom's character.

I used another service to find Artisan Grout Options LLC since have only recently become an Angie's List member. Through that other service I searched for bathroom tile and grout cleaning. The results returned and only one called back which was Artisan, and the owner Tom called seconds after I placed the contact company request. Professional, professional, professional! This sums up Tom's work. He showed up promptly for the appointment and for the work. Extremely friendly, courteous and provides meticulous work. I have come to almost accept having to clean up after people who perform work in my home or business, but Tom cleaned up after himself and laid down cloths before starting work so he would not mess up anything while working. He was professional from the first contact on the phone through the end of the job. Hire him!!! To give others an idea on Tom's mentality, his paper agreement has wording about work being performed in a workmanlike manner. Normally contractors, etc. look at you like a dog does when it hears strange sounds, tilting its head side to side, when you mention work being performed in a workmanlike manner. The customer usually ends up having to insist that be put into the agreement. So when I saw Tom's agreement with that language built in, it spoke volumes about his professional attitude. Normally to expect that level of professionalism, work ethic and skill you'd have to pay through the nose, as the expression goes. But Tom's rate was so reasonable I think it was too reasonable. He could have charged more and I would have gladly paid, but he is one of the rare people who doesn't feel performing work properly and professionally should come at a premium but instead should be the norm. I don't know what else to say other than if I have any more tile or grout cleaning work needing to be performed, Tom of Artisan Grout Options is the ONLY guy I will call. I would gladly refer him to anyone who needs work done and want it performed by one of the rare professionals which still exists.

Tom was wonderful to work with. He was a true professional. We had an appointment for 3 PM. When I arrived home at 2:30, Tom was pulling up to the house and asked if he could start now. He put drop cloths throughout the hallway/bathroom, laid all his tools on them and in the bathroom. He said that the job would take 3 hours and it did to the second. The bathroom looks brand new. He cleaned up everything - you would never know that he was working in the house. He did a fantastic job. He was a pleasure to work with. I would recommend him to everyone. I only wished that he could renovate whole bathrooms not just replace the grout - I would hire him in a heartbeat!
