TL;DR: Kevin's Heating and Cooling is an unreliable provider. Deal with him at your own risk! This is the second time in my life that I'm writing a review on a service provider and it's taken me two years to write this! It is extremely sad and frustrating it has come to this. Kevin was recommended to us by our neighbours. We paid him in full to replace our oil furnace, which he did but he disconnected our air filter (and used the power from there to power the oil furnace). He also only partially installed it and the casing had to be left open since the oil pipe was connected from outside. He provided a ten year warranty when we paid him in full and he said he'd come back when he was less busy to fix the outstanding issues. He kept insisting the HEPA filter was working even though it wasn't powered on and it needs electricity to work. Finally, nearly two years after dealing with unfiltered air and arguing the filter wasn't picking up dirt like it used to, we showed him the manuals saying the same thing. We've waited patiently two years!!! Things came to a head since we wanted to refinance our home and the inspector saw the exposed casing and said it needed to be closed which would necessitate fixing all the other issues above, which again we've repeatedly called Kevin and he said he'd come, but he hasn't and has stopped answering our calls. Because of him our refinance is in jeopardy and we have to find another provider to fix the mess he made. He also exhibited very similar behaviour from another review from 9/19/2021 from angi.com - coughing, saying he was sick, butt dials, etc.

K. Woods replaced furnace. Left garbage and cigarette butts in basement. Vent pipe leaked exhaust into basement and caused water to leak onto furnace. Contacted Kevin said he would fix it. 6 months went by and he had not despite numerous texts. Saturday (9/11/21) said he would fix it Monday or Tuesday. Monday said it would be next day. Never showed up. Thursday morning Kevin said he had been sick since Friday was coughing and sounded horse. Got an accidental call from Kevin's phone later in the day could hear him talking. Was not horse and was not coughing. Hired a contractor to repair the vent. Pipe joints had not been cemented, allowing them to leak.

Kevin is awesome! He came and gave me a quote that was far and above the best I'd received. We set up a date and that was all there was to it. He showed up and in a day and a half I had a brand new furnace, ac and water heater. He explained everything along the way and when he was done, you couldn't even tell anyone had been there. I would recommend Kevin Woods Heating and Cooling to anyone looking for a new furnace. He is great at what he does.

I would highly recommend Kevin to anyone!! We called so many places as we needed a furnace and water tank right away as we had our roof replaced and the roofers knocked our chimney down inside the chimney and clogged everything so we needed to have new equiptment installed to have it vent out on the side of the house . Kevin was the only one that called us back right away when he heard our message. He came down to our house within the hour to access the situation and the following day everything was done. Now that is what I call service!!!! Everything went perfect and this fellow knows his stuff! Highly recommended, not to mention he saved us a lot of money as the cost included the price of both the water heater and furnace and installation. Could not be happier!!!!
